Recovered nine outdoor cushions with new fabric. Final product looks as professionally done as the cushions that came with the sofa, and Justin finished the work in less than a week. He also allowed us to order the fabric directly since we found a better price online than his distributor could match.

From beginning to the completion the service and workmanship were A+.

The sofa was reupholstered with fabric I had purchased separately, including accent fabric on the side panels; new seat cushions were created; paint marks were cleaned off; and the split leg was sealed. Justin was responsive throughout the process and punctual when picking up and delivering the sofa. I appreciated his attention to detail and fine workmanship. Many people have asked me if the sofa is new!

Justin was an excellent communicator via both e-mail and phone calls. We needed (4) outdoor chaise lounge chair cushions re-covered and the foam inserts were fine and Justin stated that was no problem. He even allowed me to buy the Sunbrella outdoor fabric elsewhere and I brought the fabric along with cushions and dropped them off on a Saturday and Justin had them completed within a few days. His team ran short on the fabric and Justin communicated to have the fabric shipped directly to his shop, which saved me a trip! Again, excellent communication!! Quality work!! I can't thank Justin enough for the beautiful craftsmanship and skilled trade he was able to show through his work!! We will definitely be using Justin again for all our upholstery needs!!!

They were willing to work with us. My wife had found the upholstery material than what they were offering it for so they were willing to take the material and reupholster with it. Out interactions with them were very positive. It was quality work, they did a really nice job. They are very reputable, they do quality work, they are easy to work with and they are willing to work with me. They are a little pricey.

I have used Angie's List for many years, and most often, I have been very pleased with the providers I've found there. Justin Davis and Carolina Upholstery Shop and Showroom are certainly no exception, and I cannot rate this business highly enough!! I am relatively new to the Charlotte area, and I didn't know who to commission for the work I wanted done, so I turned to Angie's List, and there were so many great reviews for Justin's business that I felt I couldn't go wrong! Boy, was I right!! The first job he did for me was to make 12 cushions for the chairs on my patio, using Sunbrella rain fabric, which he sourced from the manufacturer of this material. I brought one of the chairs to his showroom in Concord, and he did all the measurements on site. The cushions came out ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!! They look wonderful on my patio, and in examining them, you can see the fine workmanship that went into making them. Needless to say, I was EXTREMELY PLEASED! When my mother saw them, she fell in love with them, and ordered the exact same cushion. This time, Justin came to her home, measured the chairs perfectly, and once again, we had a perfect result! When he came to do the patio chair measurements, my mother showed him a living room chair that she had been planning to upholster. The chair is quite ornate and lovely, but the seat and other portions of the upholstery were in sore need of repair. As you can see from the attached photos, the chair came out looking SPECTACULAR, thanks to the skill and expertise of Justin and his colleagues at Carolina Upholstery Shop and Showroom! The cost for the re-upholstery was $1,062. We are CERTAIN to use this company again, and I am SURE that any prospective customers will be as pleased as we were!!

After reading reviews on Angie's List, this was the first vendor I contacted (mainly due to reviews and location). After trading emails with pictures of furniture I wanted repaired, I didn't see a need to contact a second vendor. He's a second generation owner of this business, having bought the business from his father. I was impressed with the entire experience. When he first arrived we reviewed the work I wanted done. I expected very good work, and he did that. Above that, there were two specific things he did that really impressed me: 1. When he found there wasn't an existing opening to insert new padding he took the time to explain how & where he planned to make a cut, and how he'd sew it back together when completed. 2. There was one area that he couldn't quote from the picture--re-attaching fabric on the back of the chair. Although this allowed him an opportunity to generate more income, he found an easy fix that took only a few minutes, without additional cost to me. Good guy, good work, good value.

Justin did a great job recovering my 6 dining room chairs. The finishing touches put on the chair bottoms look great. Will gladly use him again with any other project. It took about 2 weeks for them to be completed which was fine because I had no time frame.

We had a chair reupholstered. Carolina Upholstery did a beautiful job, we couldn't be more pleased.

Being an interior designer, I needed an Upholsterer to make and install the cushions for a Banquette seat for a kitchen project. I contacted 2 upholsterers for the job, and one didn't even return my calls or emails when I asked for a quote. Justin responded immediately, was extremely diligent in his responses to my questions. He was meticulous in measuring for the cushions, did the work in a quick timeframe, and the quality of the work is outstanding. Justin is easy to work with, took my direction for what I wanted, and made suggestions to give us the best possible result. When the job was completed, he made sure that I was happy and my client was happy with the end result. Of the rating system, here on Angie's List, I would have given him an A+, if I could have, for every single category! I will definitely call Justin for all my future upholstery projects, and have recommended him to several of my customers.

It went well. I ordered the fabric through them. They have multiple samples in their showroom. The fabric arrived within three days. I advised Justin, the owner, there was no hurry on the chair, before Thanksgiving would be fine. He had it completed within three weeks. Amazing! He and the staff were friendly and courteous. In fact, his father helped with the fabric selection and he was right.

The owner Justin works to make sure the customer is happy. I had the chair picked up and delivered which is expensive $80, but was needed so it was worth it. Justin wants to make sure that the owners vision for the furniture is achieved. I choose the fabric elsewhere and they used this to cover the chair and pillow. I have no complaints and would use them again.

He is very nice and accommodating as far as times. He seems like an honest guy.

Justin an team did a wonderful job of rehabing our sectional. They were professional, responsive and the pricing was quite reasonable. I couldn't have asked for a better job.... I would highly recommend Carolina Upholstery. We will be using them in the future.

Carolina is absolutely the best I have seen. Their overhead is very low, and they don't charge much at all, their prices are exceptional. The quality of work was exceptional, the owner of the shop, and the people who did the work were exceptional. They are personal, and their responsiveness, and willingness to try to do what the customer requested was incredible.

Our experience with Carolina Upholstery has always been great! We have had them to completely redo (foam, cushions, everthing) a full size couch that had pet stains and several chairs. The couch we thought was ruined, but they took it down to the frame, put all new foam and padding, and even changed the shape of the cushions and arms for us. It turned out perfect. They have re-done a 100+ year old chair for us, also down to the frame and even straightened the frame. I would not hesitate to recommend Carolina Upholstery to anyone.

The quality of the work was great at a fair price. They completed the work a week early and when my son wrecked his truck, Justin offered to deliver the chairs with only a small charge.

They were great and the work was excellent. He let me purchase my fabric somewhere else for him to apply and he also did some clean up work on the wood restoration on both of them. These were very sentimental rocking chairs to my family and they took excellent care of me.

They are at the end of the earth but it's worth going! Just another first class company, family owned and operated. The son Jason, we talked to him about redoing the upholstery on furniture. Excellent price, excellent workmanship, and when they ran into problems- these chairs are about forty years old, they called and they ran into some problems about the foam in them. They had no problems calling us and making a recommendation and listening to what we wanted. Just excellent! We were new to the area and we were looking around for upholstery. We wanted the chairs, they were left here by the people who had lived in the house before, since it was built. They are extremely sturdy and instead of getting rid of the chairs we wanted to keep them because they are beautiful. We had a look at several upholstery places, called and visited a few, but it wasn't until we went to Carolina Upholstery that we were really comfortable. The quality of the people that work and run the business was good. We were not sure of the kind of fabric that we wanted. They took the time to explain it all. When we made the selection, they told us how to get the best out of it. They go the extra mile to make sure you are going to be happy. We not only did the chairs, we also did the seats in our dining room as well and got an excellent price on all of it. We used the same material on all of it and it came out beautifully. The set is twenty years old, we have had it for a long time. Justin recommended a particular type of foam. He would call and check on little details and that was just wonderful. He was concerned about what we would think even after we had the product and was using it. When I picked up the chairs the father offered to make arm covers for us, at no extra cost since he was concerned about the arms getting dirty. By the time the truck was to be loaded on the truck he was finished. They did things they did not have to do, they went beyond the call of duty.Five years from now these seats are going to be here. If we were dissatisfied about something, it could lead to us thinking poorly about the company, but the quality is excellent. The recommendations that they had were absolutely beyond question, they are more concerned about the customer than the work that they do. They stay busy. When I was there a gentleman came up to look at the quality of the work and I told him that they were the best. We also had a love seat that was damaged and we called them up, they gave us a fabulous price and now our love seat looks brand new. It is Italian leather and it's twenty years old. The repair is so good, you can't tell it was ever damaged. The re-coloration of the leather, which we never thought about was done by Justin. They actually redyed the leather. The love seat looks brand new. The last time we were there was the 22nd of March. The approximate cost of the service was about twenty one hundred dollars. It was worth every penny. There is no way we could have gone out and bought Italian leather like this for that kind of price. The work that they did brought the love seat back to life. Everything is an 'A'. I told Justin how proud I was of the work and how beautiful it was. They are good people.
