Tension cables were not installed. Post pulling out of ground. The work was estimated to be accomplished within a 4 day timeframe. It took 8 months. It was a nightmare. He had performed other jobs for me in an excellent manner. I believe he accepted more lucrative jobs and simply went with the money.

Blair Burrage failed to complete grading work after being paid, kept CAT Grapple worth $3,800, damaged property including 100' plus of drainage pipe, electrical wire, AT&T cable , water line, and caused ruts and extensive drainage issues, was involved in unfair and deceptive trade practices when he promised multiple dump truck loads of fill dirt that he claimed to have a contract on when in fact he did not, Blair deceived me and lied to me for 10 months while I waited patiently, and he wrote me a worthless $1,550 check on 8-21-2020. I have photos, texts, audio, video, witnesses, ect.

He is wonderful. He responded quickly to my call and came on the day and time he said he would. He gave me a quote within 3 days just like he said. His price was very fair. I would use him again and recommend him to anyone I know needing his services. This man has been in business many years and knows what he is doing!!!
Description of Work: I had drainage issues on one side of my house. The issue was causing water to pour into my basement flooding it after a large storm. Blair dug a new trench and routed water away from the house.

Blair did a great job, even came out during a thunder storm to see how the water was flowing! He brought in extra dirt so the water would drain into the creek bed.
Description of Work: Install a dry creek bed down the side of my front yard to manage water runoff.
Amazing! ignore the one review. Blair was honest, up front, called, stayed in contact, and overall is a legend in Concord. The mans family has been in Concord since 1870, he is not running off on you. He builds his book off of word of mouth, old school, hard working, not afraid to get dirty, good ole American steel type worker!
Description of Work: Total re grade of backyard. Demo old shed including 6 inch slab at 8x10, haul away, installed silt fence, hauled a major amount of bricks away. Photos are close to finished product, he is finishing today.

Originally, they gave me an estimate for a wall. The estimate was $8,000. The estimate for the driveway was an additional $4,000. The job was supposed to be a total of $12,000. However, he kept coming back to me and saying that there were additional charges for labor, supplies, tree removal, shipping, digging, clearing, materials and other miscellaneous items. It ended up being and 3,626.76 over the estimate. The wall is still not complete. He stopped in the middle of building it. This property was supposed to be our dream home and now the driveway and wall look horrible. They are not complete at all. He promised repeatedly to finish this job. The job was started in November, 2011 and the company went a few months without working on it. There was always an excuse as to why they weren't working on and repeated promises that they were going to get back to it and get it finished. I am attaching photos and I have voice mails should you need them, as well as, canceled checks showing payment to them.
Description of Work: They were supposed to grade our land, build a driveway and a block wall. Instead we have an incompleted wall and an incompleted driveway. The builder created a health hazzard by pushing dirt into a drainage ditch and blocking the water runoff. Now, it pools and has become a breeding ground for mosquitos.

Response from Blair Burrage Grading LLC
The member contacted my company by the internet yellow pages. I met with him and priced him the job and he said do it. No start date or finish date was talked about. Mobilization 2 pieces of equipment and 3 workers were on his job and we went to work. All my jobs have a detail drawing sheet. Drawing sheet # 1 was what we had to deal with and clean up and put in the wall and the new part of the road and the 178 ft. wall also material list on block that was placed on his job site per Home Depot copies and there report and Drawing Sheet # 2 is all changes and things he was called out to the job to look at the problems and the changes he was fully aware of Sheet # 2 and what we talked about each time. He always told me to fix it if where mine Wall turned from 178 ft to adding 28 ft more wall which all is 4 – 4.5 tall and a CAT D6D dozer had to be moved in because of hard rocky ground and to much dirt had to be moved out of work area of the wall. The member was always happy and telling all worker how good it looked in cleaning up the land. ( 3 workers ) Also on a Friday afternoon around 6:00 pm his and wife came out to the job site the first day we started pushing dirt and making a big change on his land in front of my equipment salesmen and his son told them how good it looked and what a good job I was doing. ( 2 salesmen saw it and heard them say it.) My mason Tommy Bradshaw and Mr Bill Brick mason helper who work for Burrage Grading told me him was always happy and how good it looked and what a fine job. Home Depot was the supplier for all Block and Materials and there contractor dept. ran all the numbers. ( see Copies ) Not Sand Also see copies. Was dropped on his job 850 Block to do 179 x 4.5 high wall. The 28 ft. of extra wall and another 6 yds of concrete and digging in rocks and the D6 Cat to push more dirt the member didn't tell you all about and all this time we were friends and going out to dinner with them and visiting with them. On 3/4/2011 we took 2,000 off his bill for a down payment on my wife company truck ( See Copies ) he paid us 1,626.76. It was a 2004 F.250 Pickup this was 2 different copies and 2 companies Blair Burrage Grading changed owners as of 2/15/2011 was a minority woman owned Grading business he is trying to mix the 2 to together. (The truck is the whole problem.) It was a salvage truck and no bank would loan money on it and since it was in my wife company name. The mileage was to high and which he did not give full details on the truck ( See Copies ) Our local Bank and 3 other lenders told us the something he had a conflict at our home and got mad with Lora Burrage the new owner of Burrage Grading Inc Because she wants her refund back on this truck. local Ford dealer looked at the invoice and truck. They can,t take it in on trade or help with a loan I have photos and drawing and my invoices. To solve this problem: 1st the member will need to refund my wife money on the truck so she can move into another truck. 2nd we need more block to finish up the wall not at Mr. Burrage cost Will not Charge for labor. Also we work at this site a few weeks ago with a Backhoe, Small Tractor and was seeding for erosion control and still working on clean up. Til the member pad lock the gate and pick –up the seed While we went into town to get a broken seeder part. Former Owner of Blair Burrage Grading
