AM Exteriors

First, I want to state that no work was performed. I am only assessing AM Exterior's initial responsiveness and estimate. AM Exteriors was prompt in scheduling and performing an estimate of the siding I needed repaired or replaced. The estimate was provided/emailed in the time promised. When I tried to contact AM Exteriors via phone or email after receiving the estimate, I could not reach the estimator or get a return email or phone call. The estimator did provide (with the email estimate) a suggested sub-contractor because this was a smaller job; however, after many attempts to schedule a visit to do the estimation, this sub-contractor' fell through as well. It would have been more professional and responsive to just tell me they did not have the time or resources to do my 'smaller' job then to force me to make multiple calls and lose two full weeks of time waiting on a response. I would have been more than happy to take my business elsewhere. I eventually got the work done by a different reliable and responsive company.

Patrick was always on time ; from coming by to give me a estimate on the work needed, to having the work done ontime. I was very pleased with the work done.

After getting an emergency call from a tenant in late 2011 that the roof was leaking in my rental property, I went on the search for a roofing contractor to help me with the situation. After calling several companies and talking to them over the phone, I finally called AM Exteriors. As soon as I got off the phone with them, I knew that they were going to be able to help me. The owner was straight forward and professional and sent someone out to evaluate the problem that day. The representative that came to my property was very polite and professional and gave me a fair and honest assessment of the problem with no high pressure sales tactics. They then returned again the next week to insect the property with an insurance adjuster. At the same time, I needed to have new gutters put on this property also. As soon as they gave me a quote, I immediately hired them to do the job and it was scheduled and completed within a week. The job that the roofing crew and gutter crew performed was excellent with minimal disruption to the lives of my tenants. After the jobs were complete, the owner did a personal walk around with me and explained to me what had been done and made sure that I didn't have any questions. In early 2012, I then had a roof leak at my primary residence in Charlotte. I didn't even hesitate on who to call to help me out again. I went through the same easy process with AM Exteriors. They came out to my home and evaluated the problem. The next week, they came out again to walk through the issues with an insurance adjuster. Shortly afterwards, the job was scheduled and the crew completed the work within 2 days. In this case, I was overly impressed with the crew that performed this job because I was very concerned about roofing nails being left in my yard. I have 3 dogs and I did not want them to step on a nail. After the crew cleaned up and left, I went out searching and, to my surprise, could not find even one nail that had been left behind. In May 2012, I contacted AM Exteriors again to help me with the daunting task of having new siding put on my rental property in Mooresville. If anyone was going to be able to help me, it was going to be them. In the past, I had gotten several bids on this project and always felt like I was being taken advantage of. The owner, himself, worked with me through every step of the process and thoroughly explained to me what was going to happen. It was extremely important that every aspect of this job was done carefully because the siding was being put on a house that is over 100 years old and had existing wood siding. There were windows and trim that all needed to be wrapped, all of the soffit and facia had to customized to fit around the existing structure, and porch ceiling that needed to be covered. The property is also on a main road with very little parking room. Patrick, the owner, was at the property everyday to inspect the work and progress. The crew that took on this large and detailed project exceeded my expectations. Any issues that were found were addressed and correctly immediately. Patrick has a great eye for detail and was always there to ensure that nothing was missed. Once this project was complete, I couldn't have been more thrilled with the results. I had neighbors coming over and telling me how great the house looked and even people who were driving down the road stopped and asked me about who had done the work. I was more than happy to provide with the contact information for AM Exteriors. I cannot say enough how much I appreciate the service and quality of work that I have gotten from AM Exteriors! The level of communication and professionalism is excellent! The teams that have worked on my houses are fast and the quality of work that has been done is beyond excellent. It is so hard to find a contractor that is honest and you know you can trust. These guys are one of those select few. I recommend them to everyone I know and/or anyone I talk to who is looking to have work done on their house.
