Description of Work: John came promptly after my initial call for an estimate, and he was professional and courteous. However, I have not heard from him since, and my two follow up voice mails were not returned. I hope that all is well with him and his company, and I wish him well in the future.

Description of Work: Obtained estimate for painting deck. Price was high. Contract stated he could apply semi-transparent stain over solid stain. Not correct.

 + 8 moreWe decided to remodel and upgrade our vacation home kitchen and family room, but with the mess and turmoil we had just gone through with remodeling our kitchen and bath at our home, we were not looking forward to that again, so we contacted John at Sandy Run Construction and arranged for him to go to the other sight and take care of the job so we were not living in the mess. The job consisted of taking a wall out and re-arranging the kitchen with a new tile floor throughout, new cabinets installed, granite counters with bar, cut out ceiling with fan and moldings, finished walls and painting to complete. He did a really great job and we couldn't be happier with the finished product and workmanship. We recommend Sandy Run Construction for all your construction needs.
Description of Work: We recently completed a remodeling job on our vacation home which included a large family room as well as an enlarged and totally remodeled kitchen. The contractor we used for the whole project is Sandy Run Construction, owned by John Dougherty. John handled the complete project. We highly recommend John and his company for the quality of work as well as the timeliness and of course the price, which we shopped.

John was always prompt, honest, and contacted and met with others who had to do some work on the house (this really helped since it is a vacation home and we don't live in the area.) He and his crew were very professional, friendly, and quite good at what they do. It was a very good experience overall and a pleasure doing business with Sandy Run Construction. I absolutely will seek out this company again if the need arises.
Description of Work: They repaired roof damage from fallen tree and replaced shingles, removed and replaced rotting wood siding on house, contacted and met with pest control people for us to obtain estimate--then met them when they came back to perform service, contacted and met with gutter people for us to obtain estimate--then met them when they came back to perform service, cleaned and repainted entire exterior of the house.
