 + -1 moreRob is a general contractor - subcontracted plumbing & electrical to others. Completely gutted and installed all new fixtures in 2 bathrooms (We purchased all fixtures ourselves). Rob did all the demo; carpentry (including enlarging one bathroom; installed bathtub & 3'x4' shower; did all tiling & painting. Excellent workmanship on everything. Extremely pleasant personality. Stuck to his estimate for base contract - reasonable upcharge for some added projects. If I have more major projects, he's the one I will contact.

 + -1 moreWe found Mr. Blackwell to be an extremely knowledgeable contractor in all phases of construction. Once the work commenced Mr Blackwell made it clear he would not start a new job until ours was finished. He kept his word through to the final inspection. Mr.Blackwell is a perfectionist in the best sense of the word. The licensed subcontractors he hired on our behalf, (electricians, plumbers, sheetrockers, flooring installers), had the same work ethic. All subcontractors had worked for Mr Blackswell over several years so he knew the quality of their work first hand. Mr Blackwell was always on time. If he was going to be delayed, he would call to let us know. When ever we approached Mr. Blackwell with our design concepts for our home, his response was always "I can do that", and he did. He always either suggested alternatives that would make our concepts better than what we imagined or made our concepts exactly as how we invisioned them. We love the home he created for us. Description of Work: In remodeling the house we bought, we had Mr. Blackwell gut the existing master bedroom, master bathroom and living room. He rebuilt these rooms to our specifications. This included doing all the tile work in master bath, Installing new cabinets, pocket doors at bathroom and bedroom intrances, installing a ribbon fire place the living room, new front doors, windows in both bedroom and living room, and replacing hardy board siding. He also built a new stairway from garage into house as well as designing new storage space in garage. He made sure all work met or exceeded buildings codes for our location.
