I was quoted a price. I was told Mark would probe for tank. After 15 min. I was then told price would be higher, they couldn’t find tank....(they didn’t probe.) I was watching. Backhoe was immediately unloaded to,find tank. I told him I couldn’t go higher than $500. He said he’d stop looking, clean my drainage, and hope for the best. He charged me $500. 2 days later worse than before.......I’m a single woman, and was taken advantaged of....took my money...I had to pay with 3 different credit cards. Now, don’t know what to do.....sewage leaking! Yes great salesman, he talked over my head.... So very sorry he was the one I chose off of Angie’s List

1st, within seconds of looking at Angie's List companies comparison, even before I was done they called me to set up an appointment. It was like they were ready to pounce on unsuspecting homeowners. Their company wasn't even on the list. I thought it strange at the time. 2nd, I made an appointment for them to come out the next day. They arrived at a reasonable time. I explained what I needed. They told me I needed much more done than that but would not give me an estimate even when asked. Work couldn't be done that day because of the heavy rains that soaked my yard the last few days. It would have torn up my yard. They agreed and charged me $150 for the service call. (Still no estimate). They promised the money would be deducted from the work they would do. 3rd, When my yard dried out I called them for an appointment and they never showed up. I called again a few days later and they told me the appointment was never put on their calendar. Anyway they came out a few days later, the ground was dry enough to do what I needed. They told me then that they couldn't put a port in for my RV and that the work on my septic system would cost $3500 + + whatever else came up. I told them I couldn't afford that and they charged another $150 service call charge and left. I think they are scamming the Angie's List system. They aren't on the list as Carolina Septic but called while I was still looking at choices. They never told me an estimate price the first time they were here even though they new what I wanted done. They only told a price and that they couldn't do what I most wanted after a second service call. I will certainly never do business with this company again. I believe they are trying to game the system with unsuspecting homeowners.
