Clemmons Carpet worked around our schedule, coming when we were off and waiting when we were working. They moved furniture carefully and professionally, putting things back in the proper position. Doug Johnsen and his staff of installers made sure we were happy in all aspects of the job.

It was excellent! I've recommend them to everyone! Doug was so helpful! He explained everything to me and everything was done in a timely manner!

I had initially gone to them (Doug and Chad) to get measured for a basement remodel. Nothing to do with them but it took 3 months to finish. When we were at the point to pick out carpet I decided to go look at home depot and another carpet store just for comparison. Should have just stuck with Clemmons Carpet! Quality of carpet for the $$ was as good as HD and much better than the other carpet store. Not only did I need carpet but I need a small tile area near the exterior door. Clemmons carpet had enough spare tile and a guy to do it the next day. I was expecting the carpet to come in a week and they surprised me with it coming in 4 days. Got the tile entry way AND carpet installed the same week it was ordered!! Amazing.

I am extremely picky about my home. I received a recommendation from a homeowner that is equally picky. They did not disappoint. From beginning to end, I was extremely happy with the process and handling. The store offered several options on the front end to allow me to consider among a range of products. I very happy enough with the carpet, so much so that I'm using it in a second home. I found the salespeople, and particularly the owner (Doug), to be extremely helpful and professional. He worked to accommodate my schedule, which was greatly appreciated. His staff's carpet installation was the best I've seen. They were detail oriented and provided a quality of service that most installers at other firms fail to do. Anyone from this firm coming to my home was on time and ready to work. Without any hesitation, I will use them again and offer the highest recommendation for this group.

It did not go well... I went with Doug because my girls liked him because he knew some of their teachers at West Forsyth. He is Very personal and I paid him in advance and received about a 5% discount. That was a mistake. The carpet to be installed I was told by my daughter was the lighter colored carpet sample. She told me of the debate she had with Doug where he was pushing the carpet that was installed. Unfortunately, I was out of that discussion and I was the person at the house when the carpet was installed. Not knowing the carpet being laid was not the correct carpet, the job was completed. Doug met with my daughter and my ex later and said it was a misunderstanding that he thought they had agreed to the carpet he was pushing. One thing I do know happened, was with his installers. The lead guy said when he arrived that instead of a 2 day installation that he wanted to do it all that day and could they stay until 6 - 7 pm. I told him NO! He needed to be out of the house by 5 - 5:30 because my daughter had a concert that evening at 7pm and the 3 ladies needed to get ready to go to it. Imagine my surprise when I called at 6:15pm and he was still in the house finishing up. I spoke with him and he seemed offended that I was upset with him for not adhering to the 5pm deadline. The daughter performing had gotten ready and left, but my other daughter and my ex were still in the house. Three women having to shower, etc. with strange men in the house is NOT what I wanted. It was ALL about Doug's crew finishing up so they could move to another job the next day. In the end, they had to come back a couple of times and finish up anyway... NOT a good experience! Update: Below is my response as well as an email received pertaining to this rating: Hi Doug, I did tell you that my daughter AND ex-wife said you installed the wrong carpet. To your credit you even met with them after we talked and tried to convince them otherwise. The carpet looks fine to me, BUT it is not the carpet they say they chose, and yes, I do believe them. NOTHING in my Review for Clemmons Carpet is not factual, and I do take offense to your derogatory remarks below. They were prompt to schedule and give an estimate. They were competitive. The installations went well and the finished carpeting looked very good as well. Installations were done within two weeks and, shen scheduled, were installed on time. Had living room and three bedrooms done in one installation and three bedrooms and hallway done in another installation.

They worked with me in trying to find exactly what I wanted. They were trusting in letting me take samples home without knowing who I was (they did not take my name). They were so friendly that I felt like I had known them for a long time. The prices that they gave me were about the same on some items as other places and then on lower on other items.

The experience went fine. Everything done on time and as promised.

overall very good experience, from the beginning they were very generous in allowing us to take home numerous carpet samples to throw on the floor all over the house, Negotiated price for the carpet was lower than what was quoted at Lowes and installation was less expensive and well performed, this was particularly noticeable on the stairs where they did a much better job than the carpet that was already there, and they did not charge per step which kept the cost down. They arrived when promised for the majority of the job, however were a bit less reliable in coming back to finish off a portion that could not be done originally (not their fault) but they did come back within a few days of when they said they would. Overall a very good experience

I was looking for carpeting for some stairs in my home. I called the company and asked for them to send someone out to measure. They said they would have someone call me to set something up. Several days went by with no response, so I had to call them again. They did send someone out who was professional and courteous. I had asked if they might have a remnant that would work for the area to be carpeted. He said he wasn't sure, but would call and let me know. Another week went by with no phone call. This time I drove to the store personally. The salesman was friendly and offered to show me what remnants were available. I also picked out another carpet sample (that would have to be ordered) just in case the remnant didn't work. He said he would have the piece measured and would let me know whether or not it would work. After several more days and no response, I called them. The salesman remembered me and said and quot;no, the remnant will not fit.and quot; When I asked him the price for the other carpet I had selected, he gave me a ballpark estimate and said I would have to come back to the store since he couldn't find the information he had written down about my order. The poor customer service was the reason I decided not to do business with Clemmons Carpet. I got the feeling that my job was too small for them so they were trying to make me go away. Well, it worked!

It went very well. Gregg from Clemmons carpet did a good job, given difficult circumstances. I had 2 sets of stairs where the berber carpeting had buckeled, and was creating a trip hazard. After taking my info the previous day, Gregg was prompt and courteous. He explained what he could do for me, to get the result I wanted. He was careful not to damage the walls or staircase.

Their work was fine. I used this company because I had heard, by word of mouth, that they were reasonable with price and also good with installation. I spent about $2500. I will use this company in future.

They removed the old carpets and disposed them. They were very professional. The work went as scheduled. There were no problems. They gave me an estimate before the installation and they stuck to it. I am planning to call them for some carpet installation in the kitchen, shortly.

Service was exceptional. They delivered it to my home.

THEY GET THE JOB DONE WHEN THEY SAY THEY WILL. THEY DON'T MESS AROUND, AND THEY GET RIGHT TO IT. THEY ARE ALL PROFESSIONAL, AND THEY CARE ABOUT KEEPING THEIR CUSTOMERS HAPPY.
