The ability to quickly locate the leak area along with plumber recommendations resulted in a same day repair.

Another big plumbing company had tried to steer us away from trying to locate the leak, (saying it wasn't very accurate), and instead recommended completely new lines between the street and house which was thousands more compared to the $650 we paid for detection and repair of that alone. Thankfully we called another plumbing company who recommend having Leak Detectors come locate the leak. Randy was great.

I called and they arranged for Blake to come out on the same day that I called which was very good. He spent a few hours locating the leak and even when to get a connector to confirm the exact location of the leak. Blake told me that he would take pictures and send them to the plumbing company that I was arranging to fix the leak. The plumbing will be out to fix the leak in the next few days and I will return to update this review once they confirm the location was correct.

My water bill was in the hundreds and usually only around $27. I called a plumber to see if there was a leak in the house or under the house which there was not. Called the water company which was no help at all. In speaking with a friend who had a similar problem, she mentioned Leak Locators who could come out and target the leak if it were underground. I checked the company out on Angie's List and got 3 businesses, and Leak Locators was the first that I called. They were very nice on the telephone and said they could comes within 2 hours, which they did. That impressed me that they would come at 5:00 on a Friday, so that was great. Randy located the leak within 30 minutes. He had to dig deep in mud and cut roots and go through rocks, never complained, but he located the leak and fixed it. When he put the soil back after repairing the leak, he even washed off the mud on my sidewalk. He was very nice and professional and it was such a pleasure to work with someone that I felt was trustworthy, knowledgeable, and fair. I would definitely recommend them and use their services again.

Leak Locators, specifically everyone on the team (Blake, Derek, Jose, et..) were all very pleasant to speak to, very professional and did the work as expected at a fair price compared to other providers. I attempted to open my pool for the season and came to realization that I had a busted pipe underground. Not knowing where the leak was caused me some concern as i have 1800 sq ft of pavers with 3-6'ft of gravel, rock, et and figuring out where the leak would be was challenging. I looked online to find people that specialize in leak detection. The prices of leak detection range from 200 - 600 depending on the leak. I contacted derek and he was able to come out the next day (very impressed by promptness) and he was able to find the leak within an hour time. The leak sadly was located at the worst spot under 6 feet of stone, gravel, concrete and pavers. Derek assured me that it was not an issue and it would be resolved soon. He set up an appointment for couple days later and the team came out as expected to fix the leak. They were able to dig closer to pool and fix the leak. Both Blake (owner) and Derek came onsite to ensure the work was getting done as expected. Overall, great experience. Derek also followed up to make sure everything was still working and no issues after the job was done. Its rare to find that level of customer service these days and would highly recommend Leak Locators for any pool related issues.

Very satisfied with the service provided. I discovered surface water on Saturday and had an appointment scheduled for Wednesday. I called Leak Locators Saturday and was told that they would try to arrange to meet me on Monday. I received a call Monday afternoon with plenty of notice for me to leave work in Durham to me them at my home in Raleigh. I met Randy at my residence and he was already checking under my crawl space as I told him he could if he arrived first. Randy was very professional and friendly. He was very knowledgeable concerning water leaks as he indicated he had been in this profession for nearly 40 years. I would recommend Leak Locators to anyone who has the misfortune of have a water main leak.

We have used Leak Locators several times over the last few years. Every time we have suspected a leak in our in ground pool they have returned my calls promptly, come out when expected (and within 24 hours or less) and done a great job. Once we had Rising Sun come out to detect a leak and they couldn't even find it. Leak locators found it and patched it. Many of our leaks have been due to liner leaks and their repairs have always held up (for years). We just replaced our liner and realized we had a major leak within a few hours. The liner installer wouldn't come back out when we told him we had an apparent leak (we had paid him so we weren't going to see him again, but that's another review). I spoke with Blake and he sent Josh out within 2 hours. Josh spent at least 2 hours checking all our lines, slide, pumps, etc. Eventually they detected two cuts in the liner and repaired them. They also detected a major leak in the light housing well. Josh didn't perform the repair to the light, but promised to have Blake call me back. They also recommended another pool company for larger issues. Leak Locators is very professional, does thorough work and are a pleasure to work with. I will use them any time I have a leak.
