Holland's Hardscapes

I am very pleased with the work performed by Holland’s Hardscapes. From Steven and Shannon to Demetrio and crew, they were all great to work with. The communication between the owners and myself was wonderful, any questions I had they were there to answer, even after hours. Work was completed at a fair cost and they started sooner than anticipated. There was a little confusion on exactly what I wanted, I take full responsibility not explaining properly but Steven worked with me in finding a way to resolve it and it looks beautiful. Demetrio even installed my Pergola; it had only been sitting in my garage for two months until I found someone qualified to install it. I love everything about my backyard now, all thanks to Holland’s Hardscapes. Thank you all for everything!!

The work completed by the men of Holland's Hardscapes, was better than I anticipated. From the initial contact requesting a project quote to the laying of the final paver, all their work was done in a timely manner. Having the owner, Steven, arrive everyday to check on the progress and making sure I approved of the work was beneficial.

All went well. We had gotten several quotes for the driveway and a few for the firepit and Holland was the first who could do both. Price was higher for the firepit and competitive for the driveway, but the workmanship and attention to detail was well worth it. We viewed samples from other vendors and Holland’s was much better quality and workmanship. We would hire again as they did a great job, were attentive and reasonably priced.

We were so pleased with the work that was done by Holland’s Hardscapes! The team that worked on our project- Alejandro and his brother were extremely hard working and did such a beautiful job. We were really happy with the result! We also really appreciated the responsiveness of Steve and Shannon through the quoting process and felt like they were very reasonable and fair to work with. Great experience and would very much recommend.

I had a very good experience with Holland Hardscapes and Shannon, Steven, and the crew. The work was done well at a fair price and everyone followed up multiple times during the construction to make sure things were progressing as we planned. The before and after photos are amazing. I think the improvements definitely add value to the property and we will enjoy using the new spaces.

Every part of the job went well. The owners, Shannon and Steven were easy to work with. All of our communications went well and they know their business. Great! They started on time and finished on time.

Great! We were thrilled to have Shannon and Steven help us with our patio. From the time we initiated our intent to have a large patio installed, through out the whole process, we were well informed. Steven took time to answer all our questions and provide recommendations that helped us make our decision regarding type of patio and the pros and cons of each. We decided to go with a concrete patio, roughly 24 ' x 17 '. Shannon ensured we had our estimate and frames (wood) scheduled promptly. The concrete was poured on time as well and we were able to use our new patio in 3 days! (we have dogs and go in and out quit a bit!! ) The patio has proper slant for drainage; no puddling! Steven and his team are first rate. From the initial design to the constant changes. Steven and his team were extremely flexible and accommodating. When it was all said done the finished product was more than we ever thought it could be. Bottom line Steven knows what he is talking about and knows what he is doing. Hands down if we have another hardscape project in the future there will only be phone call made. Thank you Steven for everything.

We were very pleased with this project. All of our expectations were met and surpassed. Communication was excellent, pricing reasonable, and there were no surprises. We were very impressed with Holland's Hardscapes. The pavers patio they installed in our backyard is flawless! They were very professional and, despite having to come back over and over again due to rainy weather, they completed the job in a timely manner. We would definitely hire them again!

Steven and Sharon were easy to work with. They were very patient waiting for my HOA to approve the plans and were able to fit me in faster than expected. The crew worked until sundown and did an excellent job. I am very happy with the results and I would definitely hire them for future projects.

Highly recommend Holland's Hardscapes. I had them expand my driveway so we could more easily walk between and on either side of our parked cars and they did a great job, were responsive, punctual, and affordable. I also had them retip some brick steps. Would hire them again.

Everything went great, the crew did a very good job, was able to get to schedule things pretty quickly, and everything was easy to deal with. Communication was very good. Many other contractors I reached out to didn't return my calls or wanted payment just for an estimate, which was a non-starter. It's worth paying a bit more for good work and someone that is going to be reliable and return calls and emails. I would definitely recommend them for any hardscape work anyone needed to do.

Shannon and Steven (owners) were very responsive to questions and requests. They have a top notch crew, which Steven oversees, doing the work, They started on time, and worked as long as it took to get the job done on time. We are very pleased with the finished product.

Everything went great with this project! From the beginning, I was very impressed by the quick response time to my initial inquiry and convenience to work around our schedules for a consultation. Steven was great with answering my questions about process and his recommendations. Once we decided to move forward with the project, he did a great job writing up what we needed to give to our HOA. I was impressed and excited about how quickly we were able to start after we got the approval. Everything was completed quickly and with the upmost standards. I was able to utilize my driveway each night, which was a plus, and my yard was useable after less than a week! Workers were polite and cleaned up properly. I am so eager for the weather to warm up so I can get to planting around the gorgeous upgrades that are now complete. I am so happy that the erosion problems in the back are resolved and it all looks great, too. I feel comfort in knowing with the warranty on the project, Holland’s Hardscapes has my back.

Steven was very prompt to come out and give an estimate of the work. Both Steven and Shannon were very flexible to incorporate changes in the process of estimation. The patio looks very good and we like the workmanship. I should have rated A overall but I rated B because the crew working in the project was not punctual. They started the work about 12 noon on the first day and came around 11:00 on the second day. They almost ruined my newly sodded lawn (as shown in the picture) where they put thick plastic sheets on one spot to cut the pavers for several hours. Even after all the cuttings were done, they didn't remove the plastic sheets until they finished every things. I would definitely recommend Holland's Hardscapes to friends, however with a note of precaution.

We had a 20 year old crumbling brick walkway, trailing around the side of our home. Behind our fence, and near the walkway, had been a tree, with huge roots. Steve had many good ideas and stone selections to suggest for our project. He gave us reasonable estimates beforehand on costs and time, and sent us to a place for us to see the actual products to enable our decision-making. He never once tried to oversell. Steve and Shannon are a first class act. Accessible, knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. There were no surprises. Shannon and Steve were always available for my questions! Their team, led by Alejandro and his brothers, are artists and perfectionists. My walkway was re-designed for better flow of water away from my home, and with beautiful results! Alejandro was a good communicator and also answered all my questions easily and quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend the entire team! A+

We have a very old (about 80 years) oak tree at the end of our driveway that keeps anything from growing in that area. We did not want to cut the tree down but it has always created a nuisance in this area. Since we moved in 7 years ago it remained a slope to the back yard that is just sand and dirt with a small pad that leads to the side door. When it rains everything runs down the hill and prevents grass from growing in the upper yard as well. We wanted a paver path that would blend with our back patio that was already in place. There was a bit of a wait to get the estimate done due to it being a busy season but on the day of the scheduled estimate Steven showed up on time and with an open mind as I was a bit scattered on what I was looking for. He made great suggestions of using large rocks at the top and sides of the path due to having to blow leaves in the fall and smaller rocks blowing away and suggesting that we did not need stairs from the top but only half way down the hill. We received the estimate quickly but I had changed my mind a bit and asked for a revision which I also got very quickly and work began within a couple of weeks. The temperature was very high but the workers got the whole thing done and cleaned up in three days and we couldn't be happier with the finished project and they also fixed a couple of pavers that were sinking on the existing patio. I had company over for the 4th of July and they immediately asked who we had do the work and we past on the info. Would recommend to all!
