I feel Closer Look Contracting provided attention to detail, did careful, quality work, used honesty in work needed and not necessary, had crew that took pride in their work, and, finally, the clean up was great! From first meeting Phil to the end of the job, everything was done thoroughly with no stress! I was even out of town part of the time and Phil called daily to keep me updated! Phil's and his crew's level of knowledge really shows . My neighbors, who watched them work on my house , have already contacted him for estimates! I found his prices in line with the work and materials required.

I was a bit skeptical about making the initial call given the name of the company (i.e., I wasn't looking for an inspection), but Phil was a consummate professional from our first interaction through the project's completion. He was one of three contractors I asked to bid the project, and his quote was the most reasonable of the three -- though I probably would've gone with Closer Look anyway based on Phil's demeanor and the thoroughness of his quote and the related discussion. It was clear he knew what he was doing. We had one hiccup with some code changes. The Town of Cary required that we 1) drywall the ceiling and the wall between the garage and house and 2) also install hurricane clips to secure the roof over the garage to the house. It was an unexpected additional expense, but none of the contractors included it in their quotes, so we would have dealt with that regardless. Phil's team was communicative and kept the project on schedule while working around our schedule. When the garage door we chose was backordered, they created a temporary out of plywood, so we could store some furniture items in the garage as we refinished our floors. 10 out of 10 I would invite Phil and team back for a future project.

We have referred them to our neighbors, friends and our work. They do an excellent work and very reliable.
