Bill and his crew did a great job. It was fascinating to watch. They worked quickly and efficiently. It was a pleasure working with them.

It went great. I had an estimate the day after I called and the work was done two days later. They were prompt, efficient, very professional and did an excellent clean up job.

These guys are incredible. Within minutes the tress were gone. I give them all A's. The price was very good for what they did. I live alone and am not very young, there were some limbs left behind that I couldn't get. I called and the owner came back out and picked them up for me. It was a fair price for the amount of work he put in.

Amazing! Bill responded to my call the next day, came on a Saturday to give me a quote, and had the work done within days, all around the holidays! The work was done in one day. I got to keep some of the wood and got a ton of chips to use in the mulch beds around my house. All the details were discussed up front, and his prices were more than fair. He even waited for me to get home from work to review the work and make sure I was happy. I never had a doubt that I picked the best company for the job.

They did a great job. He came for my estimate within an hour of calling and got me on the schedule. They did a great job for a fair price. They even cleaned up all the leaves. I would definitely use again.

The crew arrived just after 7:30 am and got right to work. After checking the tree carefully, they decided it was safe to climb. They took care to minimize damage to larger surrounding trees (actually, they did no damage to those trees). When the tree was down they filled the gouges in the ground, removed the smaller trees below that were collateral damage, and hauled all the brush away. The branches that were usable as firewood were stacked near my wood pile. The larger (8' or so) hollow pieces were placed back in the woods at the back of the property where nature can get some use out of them. Job was completed in just over 3 hours. Overall, very satisfied with the results. Would definitely use Black Bear again.

Wow ! Unbelievable work !! Not only did they remove everything we wanted gone but also they did a great job in cleaning everything up really neat before they left. We were very pleased with the work and it only cost $1450.00 for everything. Black Bear Tree Service came highly recommended and they lived up to their great reputation. VERY WELL PLEASED ! This is the second time that we have used Black Bear the first time we had about three trees removed. This time we had 6 Huge Leyland cypresses removed and about 7 or 8 smaller trees and we had the stumps ground. Bill and his crew do fantastic work! They had all the trees down and the stumps ground in a little over four hours, now we have our yard back and we can plant grass again, Bill is very friendly, courteous, professional, and reasonably priced. He is definitely the "Go To Guy" for trees, and I highly recommend him to everyone.

The entire evolution went perfectly and fast. Upon arrival we went over exactly what need to be taken down and took notice to Bill's suggestions. Along the way I added a few more limbs and with no hesitation while he was rigged to the tree, Bill moved around and took them down too. He and his crew cleaned up quickly while leaving the mulch perfectly located where I can get to it and use it for some landscaping around the yard. I appreciated all the active input he gave before, during and after all the work was done. I will absolutely call Mr. Smallwood's tree service again and recommend them to anyone needing such a projects.

Fantastic, he took all that trees down and he was out of here in a little more than an hour. Billy was very prompt with his estimate and after a slight hiccup with his truck needing repair, he promptly got the trees off our roof. Awesome job, we will use again and recommend to all our friends and all Agie's list members.

I only have good things to say about Bill and Black Bear Tree Service. Bill was very professional. He came out and gave us an estimate on 6/10/15, which we thought was fair. He arrived the next day to do the work. He called before he arrived to let us know he was on the way and he arrived on time. We had an enormous 100 foot plus tall pine in the front yard and two on the side yard. Bill climbed the tree and took it down so skillfully. The other two pines he was able to take down without the climb. He cut the logs, chipped the rest, & cleaned up everything. It was a pleasure to work with Bill (and his brother too)... and they're very nice people too. I would highly recommend Black Bear Tree Service.

Black Bear Tree Service (Bill) was prompt to return phone calls, on time for the estimate and on time to perform the work. We arranged for an estimate and Bill was right on time. I really appreciated the eye contact and sincere introduction when we shook hands. We walked through the details of the work we needed to have performed. Bill explained exactly what he would do and how it would be done. When the work started, they were on time and immediately went to work. The trees were removed and hauled out of the yard. All work was performed exactly as stated with the trees coming down and the debris taken out of the yard. No damage at all to the planter beds, garden or the lawn. The clean up was meticulous and detailed and all efforts completed on the same day. I would highly recommend Black Bear Tree Service and will use them again in the future. GREAT JOB and Thank you!

Bill was on time & very professional. He had the equipment to do the job. He ground up everything. All I had left were the chips from stumps. Bill warned me due to all the wet weather there would be some rutting from his equipment.. It was my decision to get this work done at this time.. Bill even helped me smooth out some of the ruts. If you need tree work done I would highly recommend Black Bear tree service.

These guys were just careless. They didn't bother to look at the lot lines or to figure out that, gee, maybe putting all our chain saws directly in front of someone else's picture window means we're not in the right yard. They had plenty of space available in my neighbor's yard and driveway; they chose to use my yard instead. They did move their truck after I informed them that I will send them the bill for reseeding the grass. I intend to invoice them for the damage to our yard. If you decide to hire these guys, plan to give apology gifts to your neighbors afterwards!

Bill was great. Came out right away for an estimate. Very professional, they brought all the equipment they could need to do a quick and professional job. We were shocked they had the trees and stumps out and cleaned up the yard all before lunch. Are neighbors had similar work done with another company that did not have as much equipment, they took a day and a half.

The service was great! He was very fast in quoting the work. He was very kind and gave us a great explanation of what he had to do and how and why he would do it. Every time he said he would be out to our home he was on time and completed the work quickly.

My neighbor showed me a tree was snapped, and hanging over my yard into hers. Directly under it was their chain-link fence and a large workshop. The tree, about 30 feet tall, was hung up in the tops of some pines. Bill called back a couple hours after I called him Monday night. We set up an appointment for a couple days later--but later he called me and said he was able to come a day earlier, Thursday. This tree was a lawsuit waiting to happen, so sooner was much better. He took a look, told us what he had to do and he gave us a price. He said that he couldn't get on it for a couple of days, but he said he would come out Friday and rig up the tree with some heavy rope so it would stay put. No extra cost. They came out today and cut the tree. He said he was able to pull a helper from a big job they were doing, and they climbed up another tree and cut it down, piece by piece, lowering sections on a rope. Not a scratch on fence or neighbor's shed. Black Bear is highly recommended. It wasn't a cheap job, but this was a very tricky situation.
