They were punctual and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Rated B for responsiveness only because they had a huge response to their coupon and we had to wait a couple weeks for service to be set up.

I purchased a Angie's List deal. They installed three light fixtures in closets ( wiring required ). They showed up on time and we added additional work for an extra fee. My only complaint was that there could have been better communication. It w took a week from when I purchased the package until I heard from Alpha Contracting. I was pleased with the work and would use them again.

As you can expect with this kind of deal it generated alot of work for Anthony and his team at Alpha Contracting. An email went out to the customers involved explaining that he would be working diligently to complete everything in a timely fashion, and that if anyone had something that was high priority or emergency to please contact him asap. Within the next week or two, Anthony gave me a date for when he would be able to come fix my issues. They were very punctional with the timeframe they set, and went right to work upon arriving. The original deal was one worker for 2 hours, but since Anthony brought a co-worker it was arranged to be 1 hour. They completed the work in timely fashion and were very cordial.

It was a hassle getting him to even make an appointment. I waited for 2 weeks and he still didn't make an appointment. I called and he said ok he would get out here on a date 2 weeks from that date. I had to hire another electrician to fix the dryer as I had backed up laundry. I am disabled and all I can say is that he is not professional and he is hot headed. He checked outlets - not all have ground wires - said I had knob & tube wiring - I don't. Said exterior wiring case coming into house, was corroded. I asked for an estimate on repairing and updating the wiring. That was two weeks ago - I have not received an estimate. I would not recommend him nor use him for anything.

They showed up on time did everything I asked at a reasonable price and also fixed and additional wiring issue he found very happy

I am happy with the end result. I was originally surprised by the scope of the quote, but through trial and error realized that the scope was indeed required in order to have my electricity completely returned. Anthony was patient with me through the process and always responded in a timely manner. When I finally gave the green light to do the work, it was completed in a couple of days (which was shorter than I expected). I will use them again.

They were confident, came in and did the work. It was just a simple task but they did the work. They came out as scheduled but I think they got a lot of business all of a sudden.

Anthony and his crew were able to get me on their schedule quickly. They mounted a 55" LED TV over our fireplace, which has a stacked stone veneer. Luckily, our house was new construction, and I had pictures of all the phases of the fireplace (framing, drywall, stone installation), so it was easier to find studs. They completed the work w/in the time window Anthony gave me, and for the same cost as the estimate (which included the mount). They made sure the TV was level, and tilted enough for viewing. The location of the TV will take some getting used to from the couch, but the installation process was very smooth.

The provider offered a Best Deal and sent out a mass notice to Angie's List purchasers saying he was so oversubscribed that it would take him a while to get to us, but he would get in touch with me to schedule an appointment. This was a week ago and I still haven't heard from him.

Provider contacted me and was honest in informing me that they don't perform the work that I needed done.

The recent snow and ice caused many electrical outages in the area. When the power came back on, the sudden surge caused havoc with electronics in some homes. A family member?s modem was fried. At my place, the lights just flickered four times but did not go out. To prevent any possible future damage, I decided to take advantage of an offer on Angie?s List to have complete house surge protection installed. I listed possible afternoon installation dates. I also listed the make of the electric panel and stated that there were plenty of empty spaces thereon. Anthony Rivera of Alpha contracting emailed to set the installation date for the 20th. He also telephoned to ask about the color of the switches in the panel. I said that they were grey. That seemed to cause a bit of a problem since, as he said, grey was not the standard color for that brand. Anthony came by on the 20th and examined the panel. As it turned out, the switches were different than the one he had with him for the installation. He said that he would have to obtain the ones which would be compatible with the panel in the house, that he or someone would be back to make the installation. On Wednesday the 26th, I received a call from another member of the firm asking if he could come by to do the installation. I had to say no because I was ready to leave for a doctor?s appointment. I told him that I would be back by 2;20, 3:00 PM. He said that he would be here by 2:30. He did make it on time. He moved two of the existing switches to the bottom, stating that the surge protectors had to be at the top, and did some minor rewiring. While doing the work, we talked; I learned a lot about the wiring system in my house from a very nice guy. Let lighting and thunder come ? the electrics in the house are now protected from the bolts that Mother Nature can throw at them.

They were prompt, friendly, and professional. Pro: Overall I thought they did a good job. Con: They left debris on the floor indoors where they had done some drilling for one of the outlets. We had to go behind their work to insulate the outlets so water wouldn't get in. I'm not sure if this was an error on my part by not cleary understanding what their installation would include.

Arrived early, was courteous, friendly, knowledgable, worked quickly, explained what he had to do and how we could correct a problem with one section of wiring in the house. Will be using them again, and will recommend them.

Tony and his assistant were great! I appreciated his honesty and his adherence to his license! If I ever have another electrical issue, Tony of Alpha Contracting will definitely be the person I call -- I'd recommend them.

We had him back and had new services.

I think they thought the travel had been too great, and I also think they were expecting that added onto the two hours of the promotional fee, there would be lots more work at their regular fee. When that didn't happen, I felt they wanted to just do the minimum and leave as quickly as possible.

He was unable to consolidate my two fuse boxes. His reasoning was that it would leave a big hole in my wall. It did not make sense to me because he already had a cover. I am unhappy. I cancelled having my fuse box replace but they did it anyway and replaced with a much larger and it is worse than it was before.

Based on the Angie?s List rating, I contacted Alpha Contracting 10 days ago and scheduled an appointment for this afternoon (Friday, August 16th). I was told that I would be a mid to late afternoon appointment and that he would call when on his way. As of 6:45 pm, I have not received a call despite having left a message for him around 3 pm. Very disappointed that I have wasted my afternoon and will have to continue the search for an electrician.

They were just fantastic and we used them for some additional things that we were doing. They did a super job and made sure that everything looks right and square. They were kind soul, polite, well dressed, and they knew what they were doing. At one time they misinterpreted which outlet we wanted switched and when we said oh, we meant this one, it was no problem, they just did the right one in addition to the other one and didn't charge us for it. They did everything by the book and made sure that everything was legitimate.

It went well. They came out in the appropriate time and gave me a bid appropriately. They did a good job and their price seemed good. I would be possibly using them.
