I wasn’t happy. They charged more than the Deal price. The installation didn’t go well and now there’s a hole where the conduit is in the garage, so critters can get into it. Although the light works fine, he did it without consulting with me.

I let them know I had tall ceilings and they replied back to let me know they are not able to perform the service, which I appreciated. In the future they may want to consider adding the max ceiling height in the ads.

I purchased an Angie's Deal from this company. After being told by Angie's List that the company would contact me through my Angie email within two days, I waited and got a simple "Thank you for your purchase" email message on the second day. I replied to let them know that I was still waiting for a response as to scheduling, and I finally had to call them on 7/14. Someone from the company came later that afternoon (7/14), took a look at the two fixtures I wanted to have installed, and told me that the one fixture in a bedroom had no power going to the existing junction box. As for the light above the front door, he said he would have to get a bigger ladder in order to access the junction box for the fixture (about 16' above the front porch surface), and would either call me or come by the next day. At no time did he say that there were any height restrictions for the light install. The owner called me that evening to ask what had happened. I told him what his representative had said, and he thanked me. No one from the company called or came by the next day, so I called the owner and left a voice mail wondering what was happening. He replied to my email address that he had to do all the estimating and hoped to get some information to me the next afternoon. The next day saw no contact from their company or anyone from there. I called the company earlier today and left a message. The owner called me back about an hour later and said that he would be able to get an estimate by early next week. I then asked if they would be able to do the one light installation this week, and he said that he was a small business and didn't own a scaffold, which cost about $400. At this point, I informed him that not to bother, and that we wanted our money refunded. He replied that refunds of Angie's Deals are done through Angie's List, and not through his company. He apologized for the problems, and that was the last of the conversation.

They were only there 2 hours and they ended up wanting to charge me almost $500. They charged me to take the old fixtures down, which took approximately 5 minutes. They charged me for the box (which was fine) and the medallions to go around the old fixture areas (too expensive for the cheap ones they put up). The bathroom ceiling fan didn't have some of the screws and they said they had not screws with them. I was dumbfounded that an electrician would not have any screws in their van. They also didn't have any weights for the fans in the van either. In my opinion, they could have put these items up in about 2 hours and still met the $125 I originally paid them. It seemed that they nickeled and dimed me to death. Once I shared my annoyance, they backed off the price some but I still ended up paying $325 for 2 ceiling fans and a 5 lb. chandelier to be put up. And yes, it was all normal ceiling heights.

They had good ideas on what kind of lighting to use, and completed the work within 4 1/2 hrs., which was more quickly than promised. The only negative was that they came a half an hour to an hour early and woke me up at 7:30 Saturday morning. If you don't want them to wake you up, just tell them, and I'm sure they'll oblige :-)

All went well. We have several more projects that we will hire this contractor for in the future.

Anthony came over and took the cover off the outlet. A swarm of wasps came out to greet him. He and I sprayed the inside of the outlet and all the wasps that came out. We took out the nest and disposed of it. He put in the new receptacle and never complained about the situation. He was thoroughly professional and a delight to be with. The service was excellent. We arranged a date for installation. They were prompt and professional. I was replacing 2 ceiling fans with new ones and everything went as planned. They even finished a bit early. I would highly recommend them.

The man who completed the work was pleasant and polite. He answered all my questions and offered recommendations for future work for me to consider. He began by looking at the security light that was not operating and after a few minutes told me that it had not been wired correctly when it had been installed. After explaining what would be involved in correcting the problem, he installed a new security light in another area or my house. He completed the work and explained how I could set the light as a motion sensor or regular light. He seemed to work efficiently.

The contractors showed up on time, we're friendly, and knocked out the work in a quick fashion. Can't ask for more than that. They even fixed a fixture I thought I was going to have to replace (bonus!).

Excellent job in every respect! Contractor showed up on time, worked quickly and with care and skill, got the job done right, and was professional and courteous. And ... the price was very competitive. Electrician did extra work to hide the new cable and seal all openings on the outside where moisture and bugs could get to the inside components otherwise. Excellent work and results!

No problem at all, once we got the date set that worked for both of us, the job went great. Definitely recommend this contractor for other work.

Anthony was beyond wonderful. Scheduled my appointment the next day; was prompt, friendly, and extremely efficient/knowledgeable. We will be using Anthony again in the near future.

Excellent! The Alpha Contracting Representative was prompt and professional. He was also very patient considering I purchased the wrong type of floodlights, causing a repeat trip to Lowes to purchase the correct floodlights! My husband was so pleased with his work that he called Anthony at 7:30 am the next morning to give him a positive review! We will definitely be using them again in the future! It feels good to have a reliable electrician!

At first they didn't contact me for several days. Finally, I sent them a message saying that if they were that busy, I'd find another contractor. At that point they did contact me via Angie's messaging. He said he'd call me that evening to discuss the job. He didn't call, and I received another Angie's message that he didn't seem to have any of the details I submitted (work description, name, address & phone). So I gave that info to him, but he still communicated only through email. Halfway through our discussion, I could not get into Angie's site so I finished lining up a date, etc. via the company's direct email (I couldn't reach them by phone). He said they didn't have my address or phone, so I gave that to them again. Then on the day they were suppose to come out, the owner (I think) called to line up a time. He then asked me what my address and email was - yet again. At which time I reaffirmed the requirements of the job. He said he didn't realize that I needed 2nd story work (vaulted ceilings). I reminded him that I had not only detailed this in the original request, but had reinforced this in our emails. He said he was sorry and I cancelled the request via phone as well as via Angie's list message to him. I would NOT recommend this contractor as he seemed disorganized, inefficient, and lacking some fundamental items to complete a simple job (i.e., a long ladder?)

The team did an excellent job. I purchased a Big Deal for two hours of service. It took a little while to schedule given the response to the deal but Anthony was good about communicating along the way. On the day of my service, the team was prompt arriving, communicated well through out the process and worked efficiently completing all projects I had on my list. I paid $100 for two hours of service and an additional $10 for parts that were required to complete the work. I was very pleased with the work and would use them again in the future.

I purchased the Angie deal of 2 hours electrical service for $129 he completed both items in less than an hour.

Anthony and his assistant arrived within the time frame he and I had agreed upon. My wife was home upon his arrival and stated that he was courteous and polite. Prior to the work being done, Anthony requested a picture of the work that needed to be done. Upon arrival, he knocked out the job pretty quickly. The only downside to having purchased the "Big Deal" from Angie's List was the lag in time from the purchase to work being completed; however, our request was more cosmetic than critical. Anthony was quick to contact me (and others) who had purchased the discount and so it wasn't a surprise to me that the work would need to be scheduled a few weeks into the future. Also, Anthony and his assistant left the items to be disposed neatly and not simply tossed about. Overall, I'm pleased with the work done.

Other than the technician showing up 3 hours early (I asked him to come back later in the agreed time window), it went very well. I purchased the Angie's List deal of $95 for 2 hours of electrical labor. I estimated correctly that the job I needed done could be completed within the 2 hours. The light switches that the guy replaced are all working perfectly. No issues at all.

First off, it took too long to get the appointment as I purchased the big deal on March 3rd, 2014. The only restriction I had was for them to come in the afternoon, that was stated in my first contact with them. They ended up calling this morning and said they'd be on their way, it was a little before 10 am.. My wife told them not to bother coming as I was not home. They showed up at the house anyway, I wasn't home, and stated that they knew what I wanted done and I ok'd them to be there. My wife knew this was untrue. They stated our coupon was going to be expiring today. Our coupon is good until July 1, 2014.
