Great! Paul and his son did an outstanding job. They completed everything we asked for. We have a great deal of shrubs, ornamental grasses, and annual growing plants that need to be pruned each winter. They worked very hard for several days and left our property clean of debris. They are wonderful people to work with. We already plan on using them again.

FANTASTIC! After contacting him on Angie's List I received a response immediately. He was able to come out the next day and give a quote and did a fantastic job on the property. I couldn't be home during the work but they did fine with no supervision he even came back after 5pm to collect the payment. I really appreciate the work done and his professionalism. Huge thumbs up for being so flexible!

"Now, we are sorry to say this is an unfortunate situation and that he feels the need to post negative remarks so we should have a chance to explain. As a hard working, very honest and reputable company that has the upmost respect for its customers,,,,,,we did and always will do our very best to do the right thing for our customers because they are very important to us,,,,,NO matter if we mow grass or weeds. I stress, we will do what we say we will do but when you isolate our employee(s) around the corner we do like to get paid for the work. The yard had been mowed and Paul and Albert had started trimming at opposite sides of the property. Mr. [Member Name Removed] approached Albert and wanted him to do some additional trimming around a camper that was and had been sitting on an adjacent lot that someone else mows. He told Albert it was something that was agreed on from the beginning and wanted him to do it. Paul saw Mr. [Member Name Removed] walking back and walked to him to ask him what he had Albert doing. He said he had Albert trimming around the camper and said it was something we had agreed on from the start and that is was included. He was told that extra trimming had not been agreed on and was not included in his price and it would be an additional $10. Paul also mentioned the fact to him that we have been mowing his property for months now (from October 26, 2017 till now) (and he stopped as we were working at another yard to ask if we would mow for him again this year) and if that was the case he sure never mentioned it before now. He said he wasn't calling Paul a liar but if that was the case that would be the last time we mowed for him and it needed to be done and he would re-write a new check. (But he didn't do that) He began fussing his yard didn't look good like another one we mow; which is like comparing apples to oranges because his yard is basically all weeds and the other yard is grass because the customer invests in their lawn. Mr. [Member Name Removed] said we did not finish his yard and that is not so. Not only did we finish, again, the same service as all the prior months, but he got his extra trimming and did not pay for it. He said he would bad mouth us and slander us to his neighbors and everybody he could. Considering his yard is mainly chick weeds, dandelions, and clover and all he wants done is to mow it,,,,,,,,,well sometimes you can only do so much with what you have to work with. Again, our customers (and potential customers) are very important to us so we hope no one lets one bad apple (review,,lol) spoil the bunch. (We did consider requesting this review be removed but we believe in honesty and we have nothing to hide so on the other hand we think it is only fair anyone reading this knows what happened."

They are top notch. They are very good. They are always on time. They come once a week. They will mow in any direction that you want them to so they are not not just mowing in one direction every time and creating ruts in the ground. They edge nicely and they clean up after themselves. They are very quick and efficient. They are very pleasant people to talk to and deal with. I would highly recommend them.

It's been about 3 months because I had terminated their service not because they were bad but I found somebody cheaper. They were good. They were out here every two weeks. They did an excellent job so I have no complaints about that part. I just found somebody...you know $20 is a lot of money. I give him an A . Like I said, the only thing I had a problem with was the price. There was one other thing. I like my lawn to be done like on a Friday or a Saturday so for Sunday, it's looking good and whatever and he could only come on a Tuesday. In the summer time when it is raining, by the weekend it's coming back up again and what have you. He said a lot of his other customers he had to do those on Friday and Saturday, his old customers. I understood that but I give him an A rating. I had no problem. I guess maybe 10 times or whatever he came here. I give him a B for that pricing. Because I had somebody even prior to them and they were doing $50 and I'd had them for years...$65 was kind of...especially just to mow my lawn. They were here every two weeks without fail. They were here in the morning. I had no problem with that because he had his clientèle lined up for when he is coming and the time. He basically came the same time every other week. One thing that I didn't really like was...this was a father and son. The son was probably like in his 20s and it's in the summer time. I know it's hot but to be cutting with his shirt off. I didn't like that. I didn't say anything about it but I am like, you are a father and he should have been telling his son, 'This is a lady here'. Didn't even matter to tell him I am a lady, just do that anyway. Put on a T-shirt. That really blew me out of the water. All the lawn people I've had, I never had anybody coming here with the shirt off. It was only the two of them...the father and son and they did what they had to do and they weren't here a long time doing it. They did what they had to do and they were gone.

Gaylor's Lawn Care came out to give a free estimate. After we showed them what we needed done, they explained exactly how they would do the job. They called ahead to let us know what time and day they would be doing the job. Cleaned the roof gutters and made sure water runoff could flow through properly. Cleaning the gutter left a mess on the back deck, and they cleaned it up. Cleaned up and disposed of leaves in the yard and driveway. Made our place look nice. Very professional and friendly. Will definitely use them again.

The whole process went very well. I talked with Linda to get an estimate for their lawncare services at my mother in law's house. She explained to me about their services and how the job would be done. She answered all of my questions and then scheduled the estimate for the next business day. The person that did the estimate was very polite and knowledgable with what would need to be done. He answered all of my mother in law's questions and she was very impressed with him. After discussing the estimate with Linda, I decided to go with Gaylor's Lawncare service. The next morning, they arrived promptly and completed the job quickly. My mother in law was very impressed and commented on the great job that they did. She is very happy with the job that they have done and looks forward to them taking care of her lawn. Based on my mother in law's experience and mine, I would highly recommend Gaylor's Lawncare service. I am very happy with Linda and everyone at Gaylor's Lawncare. They did exactly what they told me they would do and they made the whole process a very enjoyable experience. If you are located in their service area, I recommend Gaylor's Lawncare service for all of your lawncare needs.

I started using him last year. Some people do it a little cheaper but most charge $50. He is really a nice person. He is very trustworthy and he does a good job.

I have been very pleased with the results. My lawn looks so much nicer since Mr. Gaylor has been taking care of it. He has his own business vehicle and trailer and all necessary professional equipment. He works quickly and efficiently and always shows up when he says he will. He charges the going rate for professionals, but does a better job than some of the other services I have used. I do not recommend using those who have specials or lower prices as they usually cut the grass too low and leave so much extra grass on the lawn that it kills large areas or they dump huge piles of grass on the road which does not please the neighbors. There is never extra grass when Mr. Gaylor is finished. The lawn looks professionally done.
Mr. Gaylor is a very polite, well mannered individual and I feel comfortable having him work at my home. His wife handles the phone calls and she is also very pleasant and mannerly. She always relays messages or returns calls promptly.
Mr. Gaylor always closes and latches the gate to our fence before leaving. If you have pets you know how important that is.
He also accepts debit and credit cards which is convenient if you don't happen to have cash on hand. He has his own machine.
He is located in China Grove, but I live in the city limits of Salisbury and I know he also does work in Rockwell. He will take care of your lawn on a regular basis or if you just need it done a few times due to extenuating circumstances. His normal charge is $50, but it could vary due to the size or the condition of the lawn which is how everyone works. He will do anything that I ask him to do. He is very polite and accommodating. When I've called I have never had to leave a message because either his wife will answer or he will. When he says he is going to come he does.

When I called him his wife answered. He came out right away. I hired him on the spot. He did a really good. He was about 5 dollars more then I was used to.
