Very well! Mike was professional, punctual and very experienced.

Mike did a great job. He did some troubleshooting on the current fan just to make sure it was something that could be repaired (i.e. mis-wiring, remote issue) before removing the fan and installing a new one I had bought. He also made quick work of some wood rot on an exterior door.

The provider could not provide the actual services that I wanted and then wanted to charge me 35$ to come out and give me an estimate of some other services.

Mike was supposed tpo come by mmy house july 5 2014 to give quote for services and called 4 hours after scheduled apointment saying he forgot. He did not apoligize for his actions. I took off from work for this apointment so he cost me a days pay. He told me to email home pictures I did and he never responded. Today is july 15 and yes I moved on.

Mike did a really amazing job with every task he performed at our house. Everything looks so great, and he was really courteous and professional. He cleaned up after himself, and was very punctual. It was a real pleasure to work with him, and we will definitely use him again in the future whenever we need things fine around the house.

I called him prior to buying the deal to see if he would be able to build a window seat. He said it would be in the realm of his work but when he came out to discuss it he said it was more complicated than he thought. Luckily I had some other projects around the house that I needed done. He fixed some windows that were drafty, fixed doors that were sticking, and replaced stripping. He did a fine job but it was not the work I intended on having done which was disappointing.

He put together our closet kit and he didn't take a break, or stop for anything. He was very professional and we would use him again. Great guy, thank you.

Diligent, efficient worker. Very fast. Just have to pay a little more attention to quality, but very willing to do the job right. Very reliable, on time, etc. Responsive to communication. Good choice for general handyman inside, and outside the house.

Mike fixed a sagging ceiling we thought we would need to replace. He was able to take down the ceiling tiles, remove nails, plaster and repaint leaving a smooth ceiling at least amount of cost. He also painted, fixed an exterior eave and completed mortar work. It was a pleasure working with Mike. He is knowledgeable, timely and honest.

Mike is very busy and I need someone much sooner than he was available to perform the service.

Mike was quick to return my email when I requested his services. However, he was not available for a full month. Since it wasn't a critical issue, hanging pictures, I was willing to wait. He asked how long the work would take and I estimated about 90 minutes. I contacted him the day before to confirm that he was coming, and he emailed me back that morning at 6am. Mike was prompt and friendly. He did mention that he had to "meet with his accountant at 10am in uptown" so he was on a time restraint. He did a good job hanging the pictures. He was done with the big ones, and it was just about an hour so I asked him if he wanted to do a few more or if he had more time. I was thinking that I would pay him $35.00 for the job since he quoted $35/hour. He said he should wrap it up, so he could get to Charlotte. When I went to write the check, he said, "$70.00." I was confused since he only did an hour of work. He said, "Oh, I told you there is a $70.00 minimum. Especially since I had to travel to get here." He said that he had mentioned that in our correspondence, and I do not remember that. However, it was over a month ago so that may have been the case. I would not have hired him to hang 5 pictures for $70.00. Also, he did not pick up after himself. Minor things, like he opened up a package of screws and left them scattered about. More of an annoyance to me since I am neat. If you hire him, I would be prepared to wait for his service, and I would clarify how much the rate truly is.

We hired Mike through a Living Social offer to help kickstart a master bathroom remodel. It took a few weeks to get him booked but he arrived on time on the agreed upon date and worked through the entire day. Originally we just needed him to help us do some demo and frame in a new linen closet. Mike was able to get the linen closet framed ahead of schedule and then helped me to tear up the remaining flooring, which was a serious pain. There were some malfunctions with some of his power tools through the day but that didn't slow him down. I'd hire Mike again.

Clearly this proprietor has no integrity. I asked for a refund or to simply honor the certificate. He never replied. I feel scammed by this proprietor and would forewarn anyone from using him...

We had a couple of projects that we started / planned to do, but never got to it and I contacted Mike to see if he can do it for us. Extra-long window seat (20 feet), and an arts and crafts wall. In addition, while Mike was on the job he also helped with additional small projects, hanging heavy mirrors, and more. From the start Mike communicated very well, and suggested the best approach based on his experience. I felt that the projects will be in the right and very experienced hands, and we chose Mike for the job. Arrived promptly, completed all the preparations very fast, very pleasant to work with - Mike did everything he promised, plus few extras. Clean work, efficient, has the right tools for the job, and very knowledgeable - that was our impression. We liked the outcome, our kids were thrilled when they entered their renovated playroom, all thanks to Mike.

It all went very well. I purchased all supplies in advance, and he did the job in a morning. All good.

They never called to schedule service.

His prices are reasonable. It was $150 for about 9 hours of work. I felt this was a good deal. The labor alone could have been 3 times that, but I got a living social deal. I scheduled him to come back at a later date. There was a piece of wood that was rotten behind the shingles that he is going to replace. He does what he says he’s going to do. He is courteous and professional.

We were getting the house ready to sell and needed a number of things done. We hired another contractor for the work and was not happy with the results. I was going to try to do the work myself, but didn't have enough hours in the day. I contacted You-Name-It and was lucky that he could find some time before we left. He spent half a day repainting sections of walls and an entire dining room ceiling. The quality of his work was great. I only wish that we would have hired him for the original work.

Well, I should receive a full refund.

Mike was wonderful! We talked several times on the phone to talk about what I needed done. Mike arrived on time and was very professional and pleasant. He immediately got to work on installing my garage door opener. He worked tirelessly and kept me up to date on everything he was doing. He worked non-stop the entire time until he was forced to stop due to finding an electrical problem. He tried connecting the garage door opener to the unlabeled wires in my walls and found that there was no way to connect the opener and have it work as intended. He showed me the problems, explained all of the methods he tried, and told me exactly what needed to be done. Mike suggested I call an electrician to check the faulty wiring and explained exactly what they would do to test it. Though he was familiar with the process, he said that two electricians are going to need to come in and use special tools to detect and fix the issue. He was very apologetic that he couldn't fix the wiring himself. I was very impressed by this, especially since it was something outside his scope and the tools he had available. He told me that the electrician would be able to fix the wiring and then complete the hookup of the garage door opener. After all that, he put up the curtain rods quickly but carefully, making sure I had exactly the look I wanted. He also patched the wall carefully but quickly. He did a great job and cleaned up afterward. I was impressed with Mike, as a person, his effort, and his work. I appreciate that he is a perfectionist, much like me, and really puts his all into his work. Mike was wonderful, and I would definitely recommend him to others and have him do my future repairs!
