He did exactly what was asked of him.

He worked for eight hours. I had a list of things I wanted him to repair. He patched holes in the wall and replaced both inside lights and outside lights. He did a good job and worked very quickly in the eight hours he was working on my home.

He took down two ceiling fans. I only used about 15/20 mins of the service. The provider was friendly and did a good job very quickly.

It went fantastic. He was so reliable and pleasant and hard working. I have nothing but positive things to say about him and my experience. I WILL use him again!

He couldn't schedule me when I wanted him to. He was fine over the phone. Although, I needed him sooner than when he was available.

It went fine except he didn't have the tools needed to get up the old mulch and put down the new even though I had explained what I wanted him to do prior to coming. He was nice, worked hard and did a good job.

We bought the "handyman for the day" deal. Mike was very nice to work with and responded to all my emails and questions usually within 12 hours. He showed up on time and did a good job. He worked the entire 8 hours and did not even take a lunch break. We are going to hire him again for some more small projects around the house.

Mike worked from the moment he got here until the moment he left. He was punctual, knowledgeable and very conscientious of our material expenses. He was able to do the job with about half the materials I had purchased which saved us a pretty penny on the entire project. He was also very easy to work with, seemed to have a genuine desire to make us happy and worked tirelessly even among our noisy 3 children who were constantly in his way! He will ALWAYS be my first call for any future project becuase of the trust he earned with us.

My washing machine did not have hot water. He did not know which line was the hot water until I told him. It was noted on the back of the machine. He told me I needed a plumber. TV had no sound. He told me I needed an electrician. My fireplace logs had a fume of gas. He said that it was the gas line. I had another repair person to look at them and it took him approximately 5 seconds (I am seriously not kidding) to fix the problem. He rearranged 1/2" of embers over the fire line. He also looked at some siding that needed replaced/repaired and said that he would email me an estimate of the cost with materials. He did not measure anything or even look at the siding closely. Needless to say, I never got the estimate. I bought 2 hrs. of handyman service for $69.00. His profile states that he has worked in the construction business since college (he was not a young man) with laborers to superintendents in both residential and commercial construction and there isn't much that he has not seen, installed, or repaired. His profile describes an impressive list of services i.e. remodeling, glas repair, garage builder, etc. He was at my house for approximately 20 minutes and did nothing. I sent him an email asking if he would refund my money. He called me within 2 hrs of me sending the email and said that he would not give me a refund, not even half. He stated that he had to drove from Charlotte and felt that he was owed the $69.00 for the drive. I am very disappointed that Angie's List would even support this service!! THANk YOU ANGIE!! Cindy

He responded first and told me that the earliest date for an appointment would be November 4-5. I declined as I work and asked about November 6-7. He replied back stating that those days were already booked and the earliest now would be November 17th. Unfortunately I and not able to wait that long for this service. He apologized and said he was very busy.

could not have asked for a nicer person. The amount we paid was very minimal, but,we got everything done that we needed done. Mike is very punctual. He does a great job. I will call him for anything else I need done. Nice person, great job.

It turned out really well and he's actually coming back out to perform some additional work on my deck.

I hired you in good faith, as a contractor to complete a job in the absence of supervision and personal direction. In good faith, I sent the original published expense for one day?s work and another check for additional materials and labor. You did not return the good faith and let me down by charging me for work stoppage due to rain. Charging me for a rainy afternoon is not an acceptable business practice. You failed to act in good faith once again with excessive visitation time with the tenant while on the clock, my clock. I paid you for honest work, not to waste time with the tenant. You failed to consider honesty with this customer. You raised your voice to this customer on two occasions while on the phone. This behavior indicates undeveloped social skills - unacceptable in the business world today. You failed to inspect the chimney housing for termites as requested. Estimating three days to determine if termites were present is dishonest. If you were honest, you could say I do not have a ladder or I could find a ladder on another day. Instead you rejected additional business and left the customer without a solution - another unacceptable business practice. If that is not enough, the extra materials receipts are all black with no readable information. Please learn to use your computer invoice software properly. I would like to satisfy this account. It seems you are the problem. Mike, perhaps you might consider why you are an independent contractor. Perhaps you would be happier in a more structured and supervised environment. Rodney Leathers

He arrived right on time and was extremely professional. He finished the job and everything is perfect. He explained what he could do and didn't upsell me anything else. Really excellent experience.

I signed up for the 2 hour promotion from Angie's List for $69.00. Mike was very prompt and got here at the exact designated time. He was very pleasant and knowledgable and did an outstanding job. It is not easy to find a reliable and dependable handy man service this day and time, and Mike exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be calling him again when I need work done. I also plan to give his contact number to friends and neighbors. Great experience.

Mike was prompt even though he passed my townhome at the entrance. He called me and I walked him back to my home. I have that happen often so it wasn't a big deal. I then took him back to the deck and walked around the fencing inside and out so he knew what needed done. Mike apologized for having me buy only 1 gal. of stain as he had not asked what type of fencing I had. I explained I would go out after he finshed pressure washing and purchase more. We agreed on 2 more gals. of stain. After Mike was done pressure washing, he took a break and I went for stain. When we got back, I walked around the outside of the fence and found that the side facing the neighbor was not done. Mike quickly remedied this and apologized for the error. Mike used dropped cloths when applying the stain so as not to get on my deck or the house siding. I am still marveling at my deck and fence as they look like new again. Mike was professional, courteous and personable. I already lined him up for another project which is scheduled.

Mike was very responsive to my initial request and willing to come out within days of our initial call. I gave him pictures beforehand, and he gave me an hourly rate and estimated time over the phone. We discussed my options, and I selected the one that best suited my needs. His actual cost was less than the original estimate. He performed 2 hours of labor and purchased the materials for me (included in price). He was also arrived promptly and was professional. I was pleased with his work. He is a great handyman and good carpenter.

While the price was good and he was on-time, the work was terrible. He didn’t know how to do anything and wasted a lot of time and did very little work. He left holes in my wall where he was trying to put the cables into the wall. He was apologetic about the hole in the wall.

I bought the $69 special for two hours work. Mike arrived on time, ready to work. Mike is friendly, easy to talk to, but wasted no time. We went from one chore to the next. His company "You-Name-It" Repair and Carpentry" is well named. He did what we wanted in a workmanlike manner, with valuable suggestions. Yes, I will use him again and recommend his to anyone.

When I purchased the Big Deal, I was asked to choose 3 different days of my choice for service and when this Service Provider responded, he said that he had me scheduled for a day that I had not requested. There seems to be some scheduling issues, so I decided to get a refund on my Big Deal purchase. He did reach out to me within the two day window that he was supposed to, so I credit him for that.

He put one and half in and it took him all 8 hours. So we had to hire someone else to come in, who finished it in 30 minutes. He wouldn't stay longer to finish the project, I was going to pay. I tried to hire him another day to finish and he never showed up.
