Mike and Wendy installed laminate "wood" flooring in the kitchen, hallway, bathroom, foyer, and closet. It's looks fabulous and I couldn't believe how punctual and fast the job went. We had another contractor that we had been working with for WEEKS, and the floors were already prepped and we had purchased the wood and padding. We finally called You Call We Install and just ask if they could get to the job. We called on Friday and Mike was here Monday to do the estimate. They scheduled us for Thursday. Mike was here at 9am sharp as promised and got to work right away. He completed all of the laminate flooring, shoe molding, and transitions in one day! He did such a great job we ended up having him put new flooring in our bathroom and carpet our stairs as well. These extras were done between 9-1 the following day. Lightening fast, organized, and professional. Mike was honest, organized, and well prepared which reduced time and we knew exactly what to expect as he explained things and followed through exactly. In being a homeowner for 20 years, this has been my best experience with a contractor type job. His price can't be beat and the service, well... you can't even pay for great service like this anymore! My highest recommendations for You Call We Install Flooring.

This review is way over due. Mike and his wife did a great job in installing the hardwood for us. They were very professional in first providing the estimates that were very competitive to other installers we called. What really sold us was the cost completed handling the demo of old flooring/carpet, moving of furniture and detail of clean up afterwards. Mike even fixed an existing hardwood "issue" in our Powder room, that Romanoff Renovations (via Home Depot) supposed to. By doing so he spared us the hassle and headache of having to schedule Romanoff to come to the house. The work was beautiful and completely changed the house. We were really surprised how fast him and his wife got the hardwood installed. Mike was very patient and professional when asked to change last minute details to such things as transition pieces between carpet and stairs. He also helped with ideas we didn't consider such as alternatives to putting hardwood on stairs. We plan to have the remaining hardwood installed on 2 sets of stairs and bedrooms. We will definitely be calling Mike again.

mike did an outstanding job on locating the problem and fixing it.he nailed the flooring into the joist to tighten it.there where some places where the boards were not nailed into the joist when the home was first built so he fixed that to a tee.we are thinking about replacing the carpet in two rooms and hardwoods in the hallway and having mike do the job because i was happy with the work he did the first time

Mike was incredible. We purchased the carpet, he picked it up and installed it at our rental property. We live out of state, so being able to find trust-worthy contractors is very important to us. I cannot say enough about Mike and Wendy. During the first visit Mike gave me his estimate but also supplied me with the amount and type of supplies I needed to order. He also went into detail as to exactly what he would provide. They arrived at exactly the time they said they would and the workmanship was above and beyond my expectations. He provided everything he said he would do and more and made absolutely sure I was completely satisfied with the job. We recently purchased a new home and decided that it would be cheaper to buy hardwood flooring ourselves rather than going through the builder. Great choice. Mike and Wendy removed our carpeting and installed bamboo throughout our main floor, including our powder room. He was on time and very professional. Job went without a hitch. The flooring looks great and the price was very reasonable. We heard about him through a friend as he did a great job with their floors. We would definitely hire Mike again.

We chose "You Call We Install" because of seeing the installation Mike had done in my sister's house, reviews on Angie's List, and reasonable pricing. Along with a quote, Mike provided us with a list of materials and quantity of each item we needed to purchase. He did not have purchase extras we didn't need. In 3 days, he and his son removed existing floorings (vinyl, engineered hardwood, and carpet) and installed engineered hardwood in our home. They were friendly and professional, finished the job quickly, clean, and prompt. We had a slight issue with the thresholds, and Mike came back to fix them. We are happy with the installation and the floor is beautiful.

We have a house that was built in the 1970's and many of the rooms still had the original carpeting. Mike Powley responded immediately to my Angie's List message for an estimate. We scheduled an appointment and he came right on the dot. He had great ideas and vision for what could be done to improve/update not only our flooring, but our staircase, as well. I could tell instantly that he was a real craftsman -- much more than just a professional installer. He and his wife Wendy made a fantastic team! They came right on schedule and worked tirelessly, pulling out the old flooring and meticulously laying the new. They moved furniture, hauled away every bit of debris and cleaned up as they went. I can't say enough good things about them. They were kind, courteous, punctual, and professional. They made absolutely sure we were satisfied with everything. They went above and beyond. Our house looks like new! The flooring is gorgeous and the new stairs give it a real "wow" factor when you open the front door. We highly recommend them! It was a great experience from start to finish.

Everything was done very, very well and they were here when they said they were going to be here, right on time. The owner is on every job, which is very important as I feel the workers will do a better job. They were very professional and worked very quickly. They were not sloppy and did a very good job. My Dad also felt they did a good job and the price matched the estimate and was very fair.

We agreed on price and schedule. Based on that I ordered the wood. I asked Mike to come to my house to finalize everything so there is no misunderstanding in terms of rate and square footage. He suddenly sends me an email (didn't have the courtesy to call) that he is withdrawing the offer. Very irresponsible.

I contacted Mike on Angie's List website and he responded within a very short time. We set up an appointment to go over the work and he was there on time (or even early), gave me an estimate and set a time for the work to be done. He confirmed the time via email, called and left a message to be sure I received the email, and arrived again promptly on time to do the work. It was done and he was out the door in no time at all, having performed everything as requested. What's not to like about a contractor like that? I highly recommend his services.

Mike was very responsive from the start. Very professional. He even picked up the floor we had picked it up and delivered to the house the week before the install for no extra charge. What service! The install went well and was done in just under 2 days. He even stained the shoe molding in wood stain for no charge. They were very efficient, professional and clean. Excellent price and job. Mike came to quote the job at a time convenient to me. Very polite and answered all my questions. I did a lot of research before choosing someone to replace my floors. His price was the best and I knew from talking with him that he was a expert craftsman. I was right! He and his son arrived on time today and went straight to work. The floors look amazing. Seams are perfect and no gaps at the walls, etc. Used good quality products too. Will definitely use him again.

We had a good experience with them. We decided to go with them because of their low bid and that they could do it in the time that we needed it done. They do super stuff.

It was pretty easy getting a quote from them. They were also very fast and responsive. They had kind of what we are looking for and the raw material. We did a hardwood floor and they have the best prices for the floor itself. They had a sale that's why we went with them. They charged me $4.59 per square foot for the material that we have.

Mike was professional - he showed up on time, measured, was knowledgeable, and provided a very reasonable written estimate including any materials I would need to have and how much. I was impressed, and look forward to using his services for this project in the future. unfortunately, I bought the wrong color laminate, and have to get a new color first, and will try to rent the unit first using existing carpet. But, when I do decide to change it, I will go to him for the work to be done.

Had laminate flooring installed in most of 1st floor to replace carpet and linoleum and it went great and the before and after are quite nice in less than a day.

Mike showed up 10 minutes early for the first meeting, quickly measured all areas and gave us a quote on the spot. We reviewed the official email quote that followed that afternoon and agreed on the terms the following day (it was a Friday). Mike agreed to begin the following Thursday at 9:00 am and estimated he would complete the job on Sunday by noon. Mike and his son arrived 5-10 minutes early each day and installed the floors with complete precision. Each element of the installation was calculated and communicated well up front and the work areas were kept extremely clean. We were well informed of any findings immediately and solutions were quickly provided. Mike and his son Brandon arrived right on time. Work began as soon as they arrived. This job was to lay the flooring and molding only, we had everything empty in the rooms and ready for them to start. They both worked in concert of one another. They were professional, friendly and courteous. I was very happy with their work. The job took about 5 hours and the price they charge for installation is the best out there bar none. I did my research with You Call we Install Flooring and in all accounts they are the best for the job I was looking to have done. We will use Mike and Brandon again very shortly to do a repair and replace on another room of flooring in our house. Mike and his wife Wendy arrived on time and went straight to work. They had to move my furniture in order to get to the floor, but that went smoothly. They took up the old flooring and took every piece out of the house and into their truck to be hauled away. Mike then put down an underlayment with a vapor barrier and then began installing the new tile laminate flooring. He worked continuously and did an excellent job. I would recommend these folks for any flooring installation. He charged me half of what a big box store would have charged and having him and his wife in my home was a pleasure. They were extremely nice, easy to talk to and did not waste time. When they left, you would have never known the floor had been replaced. Everything was put back and everything was clean. Mike and his family, yes family, his son and wife arrived on time. They were awesome to work with. The work was completed with perfection. Excellent value. I will definitely use them again and encourage my friends and family to use them as well. VERY NICE PEOPLE!

Mike saved us. We had contracted Lowes to install, they would not and we called Mike at the last minute , he came over at 7 PM in the evening to estimate on a Thursday and then came that Saturday to install. He and his wife did a GREAT JOB, he did everything he promised and more. There were on time, even a few minutes early. He explained everything and if there were any problems along the way he explained those. They did a great job in cleaning up after themselves. I will recommend him to everyone I know. I wish we had contracted with him FIRST!!!!
