Description of Work: The installers were great. They communicated frequently concerning their arrival times and while in our home kept us informed about all the work they were doing. They fixed rotten wood found around the old windows without additional fees. The home was swept at the end of each day and all products and garbage was removed.

Description of Work: Great job start to finish. We are refreshing an older home in lake norman area. We obtained about 5 estimates. We went with window world because we liked the salesman, the price, and the non-pressure pitch and the fact that window world didn't jack up the pricing when arriving at our doorstep thinking they could charge higher due to our location(which is a common problem finding good honest help). dont even bother calling mr rogers , lowes or home depot unless you want to pay 1,500 per window) Angie's list were very helpful. They showed up on time and kept us informed all the way through the process. The windows we ordered were high quality, custom made in ohio to our specs and color. ( sand outside and white inside). They took about 3 weeks to arrive and we received an installation day within a week. The installation took 2 days. very pleased with installation and care of surroundings. finish work and wrapping was done neatly and cleanup was excellent. The team was very nice and treating surroundings with care. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone wanting to replace windows. It was a good experience and a good value. We installed 13 windows for under 8k. The quality is great, the function and appearance is great. The good news is that we didn't break the bank on this job which is very important if you have many projects on the to do list. We will use them again on future expansion plans!! Description of Work: In a 15 year-old house we needed for the second time to replace a front double window because the previous ones rotted away. We decided to go with a vinyl-frame window this time. My wife and I got excellent service from Calvin Wynans when we visited the office of Window World & Siding Co. in Charlotte. We settled on a date for installment, they showed up promptly, removed the old window and installed the new one. No damage inside or out. So far it looks perfect and no issues with water between the two glass layers. We hope and expect it will stay this way. The complete experience has been very positive and we can only recommend this firm.

Description of Work: I had Window world tear out a bay window that was falling apart and replace it with 2 double hung windows. they showed up when they said they would, were very proffessional and completed the work in lees than a day. they cleaned up everything after they were finished. they were very good to work with, and i would recommend them to anybody. i would used them again, also.

Description of Work: Called, told them I was only interested in composite windows. They assured me that they sold a line of composite windows. I set up an appointment and took time off From work to meet with them. Ten minutes before the appointment, they called and said they did not carry composite windows and said there was no need to come. Very poor experience.
