I cannot be more pleased with the work Charles did. My wallpaper job was done to perfection, and he was prompt in returning voice mails and emails. I would highly recommend him to my family, friends and neighbors.

Mr. Walton arrived on time each day, and worked diligently to remove some very stubborn wallpaper. He kept the work area tidy and did a good job to leave the walls ready for prime and paint. I would not think twice to use him again if the need arose.

Fantastic. The walls were a real mess -- old plaster with holes, broken corners, ancient wallpaper stuck up with 19th century gorilla glue. Seriously. Mr. Walton repaired the walls, lined them with a smoothing paper, and put up the final layer of paper. I had hoped for a decent outcome -- what we got is beautiful -- never thought it would come out so well. Also, Mr. Walton was great to work with. He charged exactly what he said he would and he left the job site immaculate. I insisted on painting the trim myself, and he gave me great advice about that, too. I wish I had more wallpapering to do -- I'd have him back in a heartbeat.

I had an excellent experience with Walton's Wallpapering. Charles was extremely responsive and professional when scheduling the appointment. He arrived on time and did an impeccable job hanging the wallpaper. The wallpaper is perfectly hung and looks beautiful (and it had some tricky patterns that needed to be matched up properly). It is apparent that Charles has decades of experience and he's undoubtedly the best in Charlotte. Plus he was a very nice person. The price was exactly as quoted. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Charles for any wallpapering needs.

Charles was very responsive when called or emailed. He came out and estimated the job and told us how much wallpaper to buy. It took quite some to get the wallpaper since it was backordered. Once the wallpaper came in, we scheduled a date and time for him to come out. He was running a few minutes late due to traffic but called to let us know. He installed the wallpaper quickly and cleaned up when done. The wallpaper installation was done very well with attention to details. i.e. wallpaper was cut to provide symmetry at the edges. Seams were matched well, etc. Great job overall and would highly recommend Charles.

Charles is absolutely wonderful! He did a beautiful job wallpapering our new home. We are so happy with his work. He is simply an absolute joy to have in your home. Look no further for your wallpaper needs.

The wall paper turned out better than I could have ever expected. Charles knew what he was talking about and even offered suggestions on the wall paper I was looking at. Would use him 10x over again!

I emailed Walton's Wallpaper (directly from the Angie's List web site) on 12/8/15. I did not receive a response, so I contacted Mr. Walton by phone shortly thereafter. I did not receive a return phone call, so I contacted Mr. Walton again several days later. He said he was very busy but he'd call me back to identify a time to schedule my service. As of 4/30/16, I have not received a return phone call. Full disclosure - I contacted Mr. Walton shortly before the holidays. While I realize December is a busy time, I fully expected a return call at some point. As a small business owner myself, it pains me to write a negative review, but I was made to feel like he has enough business and does not value new clients. I will move forward with another vendor.

My husband and I papered one wall in our bedroom and were very frustrated with the paper not sticking well.We also wanted to paper a water closet in the master bathroom. After finishing the wall in the bedroom, we called Mr. Walton and asked him to do the bathroom for us. The room took him ½ the time it took us to do the one wall! He was very nice and professional. He did such a great job that I would certainly use his service in the future. You can't even see the seams where he matched the paper. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone else.

Charles responded promptly. He came out and looked at my project and gave me a quote within a day or two. Initially he thought it would take him two weeks to get started but he was able to start sooner. The job was more difficult than he anticipated. The kitchen had two layers of wallpaper, in the bathroom, wallpaper had been applied directly to the sheet rock without any primer. He kept me informed about his progress. He patched the sheet rock. However, the bathroom was in such bad shape he had to apply a liner which increased the price. Charles was easy to work with and pleasant. I had to call him back because they were bubbles under the liner in the bathroom. He told me the area bubbled most likely because the liner was painted before it had time to fully dry.To his credit he repaired the bubbled area despite this not really being his fault. Removing wallpaper is difficult and thankless work. Charles did excellent job. And I highly recommend him.

Charles was great to work with. Putting up wallpaper on a ceiling is no small task. He did a great job! There's not a lot of people that do wallpapering, but I was happy to go with Waltons. Price seemed a touch high but I'm really happy with the results! In the end, you pay for what you get and I would definitely recommend going with Waltons.

Charles was a pleasure to work with and did a fantastic job. I had purchased very expensive wallpaper and was nervous having it installed, but Charles put me at ease during our first phone conversation. He was very knowledgeable and even though one of my walls had an iffy breaking point for the repeat in the wallpaper pattern, Charles was able to complete the job beautifully without me having to order another roll of very expensive paper! Additionally, his pricing was very fair, he was fast, and a great communicator throughout. Best of all, I am in love with the finished product and will be using him for our wallpaper in the powder room when we renovate in a few months.

Choosing Mr. Walton for this project was the best decision I could have made! His professionalism and willingness to advise me was exactly what I needed.

The first time I called Mr. (Charles) Walton, he quickly returned my phone call and stopped by my house on the same day to give us an estimate to wallpaper our 1 full and 1 half bathrooms. He was very professional and sincere. He got along great with our twin 3 year old boys! After a week, I called him back and asked if he could do the job on that Friday. He showed up at 9:30 ready to go. I know I didn't pick easy wallpaper either. One bathroom has various red, orange, and gold colors in very small rectangular shapes and the other bathroom has many large hydrangeas on it. Again, very technical stuff. The way both bathrooms looked afterwards just blew me away! Perfectly aligned. You can't see any seams. It all just flows perfectly together. We couldn't have been any more pleased with the job Charles did. Because the wallpaper was so technical, it may have taken him a bit longer to put up than what I expected but I certainly would never complain about it. Rush jobs never work out well!
