Response from Vince Curcio - The Bizzzy Bee
This Customer originally called on Thursday 03-03-2016. They said that they would send us pictures of the damage and we did receive the pictures on Monday 03-07-2016. After reviewing the damage, I gave them an estimate and told them that we were approximately a week out and that I would put them on the schedule for an “as soon as possible” repair. They agreed. On Thursday 03-17-2016 just over my one week expectation, I called to schedule the work but this customer was disgruntled and cancelled the job. According to their review, this customer’s complaint was lack of response after frequent attempts but that is not the case. We spoke day one, we responded with a quote on day 4 and we agreed that we would get to them ASAP in approximately a week from day 4. I called as promised and we were rejected for not responding? Call me nuts, but did I miss something here? We are extremely Bizzzy at this time of year and it is not easy to keep up with all of the new calls. We had received over 80 calls the week that he tried to contact us for a status up-date. Please keep in mind that we also had emails and text messages on top of that. Instead of being patient and allowing us the time that I told them that it would take to get them on the schedule; they decided that they did not want to wait any longer and cancelled the job. The damage on their home was minor and was already done and was not going to get any worse in another week, so there was no emergency. This was simply a matter of impatience on the part of the customer when they knew that we were at least a week out before we could get to them. I get it. They want what they want, when they want it. But we are a Maintenance service and they are not the only ones needing assistance. If they were willing to wait their turn, they would have received the service that they wanted. Description of Work: Made repairs to garage door facing and leak on porch. Some repairs were not correctly completed and additional repairs were needed for the porch. Vince called and rescheduled the work. The guys who came about both times were professional. I will use again.

I pulled up our notes on this job which was completed a full year ago. They requested various repairs including a new dryer vent to be installed that ran up through the walls while doing a zig-zag and then out. This was a difficult job and because the job took longer than they wanted it to and cost more than they wanted to spend, they have posted a bad review. Additionally, there were several areas of drywall repair required from damage that their children caused. After performing those repairs, this customer did not properly supervise their children and they were allowed to touch walls with fresh coats of drywall mud on them. The next day, we were blamed for the problem and told that our work was faulty but we could see were little hands had gotten into the fresh mud and dried overnight. Because we did not correct the issue for free, we were demonized and accused of being unreasonable. This is the second reason that this customer has posted a bad review. Their dishonesty is sad but does not define who we are or stop us from giving great service to people who need and want our help. How Sad. This customer never made one complaint to me or my staff. I am surprised that they are complaining because the amount of work that they got done versus what they paid. Our rate is very competitive to the going rates for electrical work. I believe that the problem here is that they do not understand the cost of getting electrical work in the Charlotte and surrounding area. Additionally, this customer needed the work accomplished in stages and multiple trips were required. They were never charged any additional travel time or labor for the additional trips. This customer was given quality service by our 30 year veteran electrician and she even spoke well of him. So I am sure that this is about the cost. What saddens me even more is to realize that 8 months later they are still harboring ill will without so much as speaking with me to express their concerns and get the facts. Living with that kind of negativity is unnecessary and just plain bad for their health. I hope that they will do some research so that they will come to realize the truth that they were treated fairly and got a great deal for their money. We enjoy what we do and we are very good at what we do. Our rates are very competitive and our excellent record is proof that we have stood the test of time.
