Vince Curcio - The Bizzzy Bee

Vince came out right away when we called. He gave an estimate and a time period (4 weeks) when his crew would come and do the work. Vince's crew came within the time period. Vince called before they came and called each day to update us on what was done and see if we were pleased with the work. His crew cleaned up when they were finished (they did charge a disposal fee to cover their cost to dispose the old wood).

Excellent response to inquiry, prompt scheduling of work, timely reporting for the project, superb worksmanship and very pleasant person to do the work. Reasonable cost for work and time spent.

They took a lot of time to communicate as the repairs were being done. They came early and stayed late 8 A.M. - 6 P.M. and were very considerate of 2 dogs and a sleeping baby in the house. They even worked around my son's nap schedule!

Due to installation issues with the folks who built the deck before we owned our house there was rotted wood and support in a large portion of our deck. Vinny and his team worked tirelessly to identify the issues, remove all rotted wood and replace the wood and correct the problem so it would not occur again. They also kept us informed throughout the process and cleaned up at the end of each day and at the end of the project.

Vinny and crew are completely awesome. This is the second time I have worked with Vinny and his folks in doing projects around my home. At this point I do not trust anyone else to come in and take the same time, care, and effort as Bizzy Bee does. Not only did Vinny come by at the scheduled time and discuss the work I wanted done, but he also provided me with a phone call once he completed his estimate and went over the cost for each item. After our conversation...Vinny mailed the estimate to me for further review. Vinny also followed that up with a call and we discussed the work I would have done at this time. After our conversation within a few weeks his guys were out ready to work. Vinny and his guys showed me some areas that I would want to take notice and will require repair down the road. I appreciate the fact that they were not pushy in saying I needed to do it right then. And, they provided me with other options that would be more cost effective.

They were able to work us into a very busy schedule because our job was small. Wayne came out, he was very helpful, on time and professional. He explained to me what he saw when he got under the house and how he was going to repair it. At the end of the service he explained the charges and gave me a list of the other services that his company does.

The masonry was done by Vince's brother. I have no idea if the work is excellent or what but it looks fine and appears to be properly repaired. Duane did the remainder of the work and was very professional and seems like a skilled handyman. He was able to do the small roofing repair and still stay within the original work estimate. I was quite pleased with the outcome.

Mr. Curcio came on schedule to give an estimate. The men who came to do the work were on time and efficient. They did a wonderful job and left everything tidy. This company has done several repairs for me and has always done a wonderful job. The workers are very courteous and conscientious. I plan to call them for all of my house maintenance.

I was pleased with the service and the fact that he didn't keep me waiting to get an estimate.

Vince (the owner) came out to review the list and gave me an estimate, plus noticed a couple other things. He was able to send one of his crew (Patrick)within a couple days. Patrick was great; we had a struggle installing the vent/hood due to previous wiring in wrong location, but he was able to find a solution, and was humorous throughout the process. He kept me informed and called me when he found a serious issue on the roof that needed repair. He did about 10 or 12 hours of work, got all the supplies, etc. The Bizzzy Bee team has a wide range of professional experience & skills; way above other handymen services I've used in the past. Would highly recommend them.

Vinnie called me back promptly after I left him a message, and he had one of his guys out her within a couple of days. He did a great job. I'd highly recommend them.

I needed someone to repair the back door and hang a new storm door. Vince came out and gave me an estimate. He was straight forward and honest about what it would cost and when he may be able to fit me in. He said that this was a small job and it may take a bit of time before they could get out, which was OK with me. He actually was able to get someone out sooner than expected. The job was completed professionally and within the time stated.

Vince quickly returned my call and was early for my appointment (called from the driveway). A quote was given at that time. The Bizzy Bee has liability insurance, but does not have workers comp, but Vince said the workers would be willing to sign a waiver for me stating I would not be responsible if an injury occurred. Unfortunately, by the time I got all my quotes a few days later, they were too busy to do the work in the time I required.

Came & gave a written estimate. Was flexible on date as we were not ready to begin work. Was willing to work on a Saturday. Bizzzy Bee had to reschedule the first Saturday, as workman scheduled to perform work was in a car accident the night before. Bizzzy Bee called first thing in morning to let us know of the rescheduling. We set up for the next Saturday. Workman was prompt, worked steadily was attentive to detail, & was amazingly clean considering it was drywall work that required mudding & sanding. The dust was minimal & I don't think could have been less- I was particularly concerned about the dust as both interior repairs were in areas open to several rooms. Bill was equal to estimated amount.

I was satisfied with the pricing of the estimate but I made a few changes to it before I sent it back to him with my signature. (I decided not to do some things so I scratched them out and made notes about other line items). To make a long story short he did not realize I'd made any changes which resulted in some disagreement at payment time about what work should have been completed. Apparently he didn't look at the version I sent back with my signature on it. Anyway, communication could have been better on both our parts. Other than that, the work that was done was done satisfactorily. Subs did all work. Both met expectations in terms of the work they did, but one was unprofessional in my home (cigarette butts in yard, did drywall sanding in bathroom w/out moving some small items I'd forgotten to move), arrived 1 hour later than expected on second day. It's hard to seperate rating for owner from rating of particular subs, but I guess that's the nature of the beast.

Vince returned my initial inquiry quickly and walked me through an estimate over the telephone. Mike, who completed the work, was timely and diligent in completing the work. He cleaned up after himself as he went. The total time to complete the work was less than estimated and I was pleased with both the work and the cost.

Excellent and thorough job. Made an extra effort to come do the work for me over the holidays. Price exactly as quoted with no surprises.

We called the company the day before Thanksgiving, and they were able to come out two days later. The handyman explained exactly what the problem was and what he could do to fix it, including as estimate of how much it would cost, before beginning the work. The window was on the second floor, so he had to get up on a tall ladder. He worked quickly and fixed the problem, and was very friendly.

Mr. Dwayne removed the shower door and redid grout work with caulk at my request and offered to repair some minor water damage at no charge in the master bathroom. He also removed the faulty balcony door off its hinges and re-sanded the side. The balcony door now opens and closes very well and no longer scraps the floor or door frame when opening/closing. He repaired holes in the top of door frame of the balcony storage door and installed a utility chain. Mr. Dwayne was very courteous and professional.

They not very responsive. I have called them and emailed them with no response at all.

I was pleased with the work performed and the time it took to complete it. I would certainly recommend them for general handyman work.

The owner returned my call promptly and set up a time immediately right before Thanksgiving. The representative was courteous and knowledgeable. He looked at the situation, purchased the right TV mounting hardware from Circuit City, built the covering and mounted the TV. He stayed until the job was completed even tho it was the night before TG. The price was higher than the estimate only because I asked them to pick out the TV hardware which we had not discussed initially.

The process was thorough and complete. The work was well done and the guys were professional, friendly, punctual, and talented. Vince was terrific at keeping me abreast of the schedule and any changes.

Excellent, 2 guys spent the day, very considerate, cleaned up everything, very competent.
