MY SON HANDLED THE OFFICE CALLS AND HE TOLD YOU THAT WE WERE ON VACATION UNTIL TUE. THE 26TH. YOU SUBMITTED AN "F" REPORT ON THE 22ND FOR LACK OF RESPONSE. I HAVE CALLED EVERYONE THAT LEFT US A MESSAGE WHILE WE WERE AWAY INCLUDING YOU FOLKS. I AM SORRY THAT YOU WERE SO UPSET BUT YOU HAVE NO REASON TO BE UPSET WITH US. THERE ARE TIMES WHEN WE CANNOT CALL PEOPLE BACK UNTIL THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY. WE DO OUR BEST TO RESPOND TO EVERYONE WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME FRAME."

"LET'S SEE IF WE CAN GET THE FACTS CORRECT. YOU CONTACTED US FOR A VERY MINOR CAULK JOB YOU STARTED ON YOUR TUB AND COULDN'T FINISH. WE CAME OUT IMMEDIATELY BECAUSE YOU WERE IN A JAM. THIS WAS A 1 HR SERVICE CALL PLUS MATERIALS, WHICH IS OUR MINIMUM SERVICE CALL. WHEN WE LEFT, YOU WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK AND OUR SERVICE. WHEN YOU CALLED BACK A FEW DAYS LATER TO LET ME KNOW THE CAULK WAS PEELING OUT, I TRIED TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH YOU FOR A FIRST STOP APPOINTMENT. YOU INSISTED ON US COMING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY, AFTER 1:00 PM. I EXPLAINED TO YOU THAT WE CANNOT GUARANTEE A MIDDLE OF THE DAY APPOINTMENT BECAUSE WE DO NOT KNOW HOW LONG EACH JOB WILL TAKE BUT WE WOULD TRY TO MEET YOUR SCHEDULE NEEDS. WHEN WE COMPLETED THE JOB THAT WAS IN FRONT OF YOU AND TRIED TO COME OUT, YOU WERE ALREADY UPSET BECAUSE WE COULDN'T COME WHEN YOU WANTED AND REFUSED TO LET US COME. THAT WAS AT 4:30 PM. WHEN I SAW THAT YOU WERE GOING TO BE UNREASONABLE, I RETURNED YOUR MONEY AND APOLOGIZED FOR YOUR INCONVENIENCE. THIS WAS SIMPLY A BAD TUBE OF CAULK THAT WE WOULD HAVE CORRECTED AT NO COST TO YOU. I WAS NOT RUDE TO YOU, I DID EXPLAIN TO YOU TWICE THAT WE CANNOT GUARANTEE A MIDDLE OF THE DAY APPOINTMENT AND THAT WE WOULD CALL WHEN WE WERE IN ROUTE. "I AM TOTALLY CONFUSED BY YOUR GRADES. LET’S START WITH PRICE. I PULLED YOUR FILE AND WE QUOTED YOU $1,035 TO $1,235 IN LABOR, NOT INCLUDING THE MATERIAL COST. WE COMPLETED THE JOB WITH AN ADDED ROOF REPAIR AT $1,049.46! WE CAME IN UNDER OUR BID BY OVER $300 WITH ADDITIONAL WORK COMPLETED. AS FOR THE WAIT TIME, I MADE IT CLEAR THAT WE WERE 3-4 WEEKS OUT WITH OUR WORK SCHEDULE. WE HAD YOUR WORK COMPLETED BY THE DEAD LINE YOU HAD GIVEN US. WHERE DID WE MISS THE MARK? CONCERNING THE PLUMBING, WHEN THE WORK WAS COMPLETED WE SHOWED YOU THE PLUMBING, WHICH WAS ALREADY THERE, WAS A BIT OFF BUT WE WERE ABLE TO MAKE IT WORK. WE DID NOT REPLACE THE PLUMBING, WE REPLACED THE DISPOSAL WHICH WAS LATER REPLACED BY ANOTHER COMPANY UNDER WARRANTY BECAUSE IT WAS A BAD UNIT. WHEN WE LEFT EVERYTHING WAS WORKING WITH NO LEAKS AND NO PROBLEMS. WHEN YOU CALLED ME ABOUT THE PLUMBING CONNECTION I EXPLAINED TO YOU THAT WE HAD MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS WORKING AND THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS UNTIL THE OTHER CO'S MECHANIC HAD TO REPLACE THE BAD DISPOSAL. FOR A FEE, HE WAS WILLING TO CORRECT OUR MISTAKE? THE PART THAT HE SAID HAD TO BE REPLACED, WAS A .50 PART, AND IT WAS A 10 MINUTE JOB. I WAS WILLING TO PAY THE MAN IF NEED BE BUT IT SEEMED TO ME HE WAS TRYING TO GET ADDITIONAL WORK AT OUR EXPENSE. ALL THE WORK WAS INSPECTED AND TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE YOU FOLKS WERE VERY PLEASED WITH OUR WORK. SO I AM LEFT CONFUSED BY YOUR GRADES. WE STAND READY TO SERVE YOUR NEEDS. WHEN YOU HIRE THE BIZZZY BEE, YOU GET THE BIZZZY BEE. AS FOR THE WORK WE DID, I QUOTED REPAIRS TO THE FRONT DOOR, THE CRACKS IN THE PLASTER OF THE MAIN HALL BATHROOM & THE CLEANING, GROUTING AND CAULKING OF THE TILE IN THE MAIN HALL BATH SHOWER. THIS QUOTE INCLUDED PAINTING THE WALLS IN THAT BATHROOM. IT DID NOT INCLUDE PAINTING ALL OF THE WOOD TRIM AROUND THE BATHROOM. I EXPLAINED THIS TO YOU BEFORE WE DID THE ADDITIONAL WORK. THE TOTAL QUOTE FOR MATERIALS AND LABOR WAS 390.00 TO 480.00. THE ADDITIONAL WORK REFLECTS THE ADDITIONAL COST OF MATERIALS AND LABOR. A DIFFERENCE OF 185.00. IT SHOULD NOT HAVE COME AS A SHOCK. AS FOR GETTING A QUOTE, I HAVE TO ROUTE MYSELF BASED ON THE GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION OF EACH HOME. UNTIL I GET ALL OF THE CALLS ROUTED, I CANNOT KNOW WHO WILL BE IN WHAT ORDER. THE TIME OF DAY IS AFFECTED BY TRAFFIC, WEATHER AND THE TIME NEEDED AT EACH PREVIOUS STOP. THESE ARE ALL VARIABLES THAT I CANNOT CONTROL, AND SO I DO NOT GIVE OR GUARANTEE SPECIFIC TIMES.
