Could not have gone better!! We had a dollar amount in our head to cover the cost of repairing some drywall in the ceiling of the master bedroom and re-popcorning it, repairing the drywall in the master bedroom and bath, painting the master bedroom and bath, and painting the bathroom vanity and medicine cabinets. Mr. Valentine's estimate (the first one we received) was right on the money. Due to our impression of him, our comfort and trust of him, and ALL of the positive reviews about him, we did not bother with any other estimates. We hired him for the job and were very impressed with the outcome. His crew showed up on time EVERY day. They were extremely business-like, professional, and courteous. They worked continuously, at a steady pace, from 8:30AM until 6:00PM, stopping only for lunch. The entire job took 2 hours short of 3 full days. What a transformation!! The ceiling repair is seamless. You would never know it was fixed, even after pointing it out. The painting was excellent with a few minor touch-ups needed when Mr. Valentine did his inspection on the last day. That's right, Mr. Valentine himself comes to the job site and personally inspects the job before accepting payment! The master bath has been totally transformed! The crew not only painted the walls, but we had them paint our vanity and medicine cabinets in a shade darker than the walls. The finish that they achieved on the cabinetry makes them look like new, at a far lower price!! We could not be happier. We will definitely use Valentine Painting for all of our future painting needs AND we will be more than happy to recommend Valentine Painting to anyone needing a quality paint job provided by the best painting professionals around. I had a 3 day window in which my new home needed to be re-painted - new color, 2 coats, every wall: 4BR, 3 bath, FR, LR, DR, Rec room. Valentine painting showed up exactly when scheduled and completed the entire job ahead of schedule. Valentine sourced the paint I requested, SW, used traditional painting techniques to ensure excellent paint coverage, protected all the new floors, and existing trip paint. I was extremely pleased with the entire job and job planning process. It’s a pleasure to work with a company that answers calls, quickly returns calls, responds to email and texts, arrives on time, finishes on tim, or sooner, and does high quality work. They were not the low bidder, but they are the best value when all aspects of the job are considered, where trust, schedule, and getting the job done right is paramount. I would definitely hire again.

Exceptional work and would not hesitate to hire again. Our house was built in the late 80's and still had popcorn ceilings. Once the popcorn was removed, all the ceilings, walls, closets and trim in the house were painted. All work was completed in 2 weeks which was the estimate Jim gave us. Crew was super nice and always on-time. Jim was easily accessible and always willing to answer questions. He was very meticulous even on the very last day on the job. It looks like we live in a brand new house so thank you Valentine Painting.

We have lived in our home since 1985 and our experience with Valentine Painting was head and shoulders above any painting company we previously hired. Their prep work was more extensive, they were were punctual, and were always polite and immediately responsive to our concerns. Jim, the owner, was superb and the crew he sent was awesome. They were friendly yet professional, sincerely cared that we were pleased with every step, efficient and extremely careful with every detail. When the job was finished Jim came immediately and went over every square inch of the work inspecting meticulously. The tiniest flaw was corrected immediately. I needed a bonus room painted very quickly so that it would be ready by Christmas to make a playroom for my daughter. He had a busy schedule but due to weather on an outdoor project he came with his crew the next day and got it all done for me!!! I was amazed!! He was so professional and his team did an awesome job! Quickly and professionally. No surprises

Jim and team did an amazing job on painting the exterior of our home. Everyone was pleasant to deal with and always smiling. His team cleaned up everyday prior to leaving and showed up every morning until the job was complete. On the final day, Jim performed a thorough walk-thru of the job to ensure the work was complete and accurate. I would most definitely hire them again. Amazing job!

Very happy with the work. Jim is very meticulous and wanted to make sure everything was done perfect. His crew was friendly and respectful and did an excellent job ensuring that furniture and floors were all covered. They also did an excellent job repairing a difficult to access crack in the ceiling that was 20 feet high over stairs. Not the easiest thing to fix. Would definitely use again.

Jim's crew did a great job. Very professional and everything looks great. Their work included prepping the walls and fixed holes, imperfections and other damage by the previous owners, applying 2-3 coats of paint, moving various furniture and other items around and cleaning. Jim walked the house before they were done and noted a few issues which were fixed, highly recommend.

This is the third time I've used Jim's services for painting between 2017 and 2021- 1) Interior painting 3 rooms, 2) Exterior painting, all house trim, 3) Interior painting 4 rooms. Jim is a perfectionist and he QCs all of the work performed by his team (and they are skilled!)- I've never seen this quality of painting concerning the prep and final product. I added a photo of a small sample of his work. BTW, they clean up their work site well too! I have a fall garage project- I will be calling on Jim and his team!

A great experience with Jim and Team. He did a thorough estimate so there were no surprises. His team worked efficiently and cleanly and came in on time and on budget. Jim does a detailed final walk through to ensure everything is up to his standards. We immediately hired him again to do some work on the home we are selling to move into the townhome. His team completed all the work in a day. Excellent results, top notch service! Would definitely hire again.

Jim's team did a great job. We had our old kitchen cabinets refinished from a lightly stained and varnished maple finish to a modern white. It looks great. This was a difficult job and I am especially meticulous about every detail. I had reconfigured our old cabinets for the new kitchen design which included several door that had been resized (which means seams, filler, and sanding). In addition, our old hinges were on the outside of the cabinets. Going to hidden hinges meant that slots on the sides of the doors needed to be filled and sanded. The end result is that you can't even tell that the doors ever had exterior hinges or that some of them had been resized. The cabinets look like they just came straight from the manufacturer.
