Description of Work: Quick, efficient job by the painting crew. We are very happy with the results!

Description of Work: I got a bid for interior painting on a tight schedule from Jim Valentine and 2 other contractors. One was less than half of the other two, so he was ruled out. The other two bids were close, and Valentine seemed like the better painter, but I could not reach him by phone or email for over a day. So I gave the job to the other bidder.

Description of Work: 2 Large ceilings and 2 bedrooms. They did a good job but Mr. Valentine was not satisfied with the results so they returned and repainted the ceilings. Also painted a ceiling that was not in the quote as a courtesy.

Description of Work: Repair dry wall popcorn ceiling about 12 square inches and apply popcorn coating and dry wall about 6 square inches in hall way to make it paint ready. Also asked if they would repair dry wall around garage home entry door and around garage opener on wall. They did that too with no problem. Very pleased with the work and their responsiveness.

Description of Work: Painted 6 areas. My request was very last minute but Jim fit me into their schedule. All of the work was completed to my satisfaction.

Description of Work: We needed our kitchen and family room ceilings painted, and some additional ceiling in the garage. Every visit went well and they were punctual whether it was to provide an estimate or complete the job. The job was completed in one day as promised. They were very thorough and ensured that our property was protected from spills/splatters. We will definitely use them on future jobs.

Description of Work: Refinished double front exterior entrance doors. The doors look fantastic. There was one area on a side frame panel that had turned out much darker than the rest. Did not know if it was the wood grain that created that problem, but they came back out again just to repair that part as best they could. I was very impressed with their services. May have been priced a bit high (had trouble finding door refinishers) |, but great quality job.

Description of Work: Painted external trim, window frames, doors, shutters and gutters. Washed outside of windows. Very professional through the entire process from estimate to follow up after the job was completed. Arrived on time, was mindful of my property, did proper prep work, and final product fully met expectation. Very knowledgeable. Fixed a powdery paint problem on plastic window frames that caused streaking problem whenever washed windows.

Description of Work: Wow, great job. I was skeptical of this whole Angie's list deal but reading the reviews was worth it. Jim and his crew were very professional and left our p,ace looking like a new house. He's not the cheapest guy in town, but I've always believed you get what you pay for. The last painter we used paled in comparison.

Description of Work: A thoroughly beautiful and professional job. We had porch, kitchen, den 2 story Hall and bedroom painted. Jim was always prompt to return calls and the workers were very hard working, here at 8 on the dot each morning and worked until 6 each day. Oscar, the foreman, checked in with me at the end of each day, would highly recommend!
