My experience has been that if you want them to come out and reapply after they've already done it (because it might have rained or not worked as well as normal) that they are very good about coming back out.

The guy that worked on my yard was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. However, I started in the middle of the year and thus not at the beginning of the cycle. I feel the treatments would have been more effective had I started at the beginning of the year. The results weren't as noticeable as I had hoped, although I had a lot of weeds and was unable to get a pre-emergent down at the beginning of the year. The Trugreen tech explained to me the best way to correct the problem, and agreed that starting at the beginning of the year(start of the cycle) would work best. My only complaint is there is no notice of when they will be there to do a treatment. I was caught off guard without my yard mowed a couple times. I will probably try it again next year.

They do excellent work and I would highly recommend them. My only recommendation would be to make sure you have an irrigation system. Sometimes in the summer applications can kill the grass if it is not watered and is very hot.

THEY'RE ALWAYS READY TO GO WHEN WE ARE. WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK THAT THEY DO. WE DID STOP USING THEM FOR A LITTLE WHILE, AND TRIED ANOTHER COMPANY, BUT WE WENT BACK TO TRUGREEN CHEMLAWN. THEY JUST DO A GREAT JOB!

AFTER THEIR SERVICE, THERE WERE EVEN MORE WEEDS. COULD HAVE JUST DONE THE JOB MYSELF. MY OPINIONS OF THEM ARE NOT VERY HIGH AT ALL. THEIR PRICE IS OUTRAGEOUS AT 60 DOLLARS PER MONTH.

FOR THE LAST SIX YEARS, I HAVE BEEN USING THIS COMPANY WITH NO PROBLEMS. I THINK THE PRICE IS FAIRLY REASONABLE. I WOULD NOT KEEP HIRING THEM AGAIN IF I DIDN'T THINK THEY WERE GOOD.

They sprayed my trees & shrubs, fertilized the lawn, & took care of weed control. I've been using them for the last 4-5 years. At my request, they call before they come out. They always get the job done at a fair price & I'd recommend them to anyone! If I have a problem I call their supervisor, but I haven't had that many.

I see their truck in our neighborhood often for the past few years. I was pretty happy w/ the result I've seen w/ the yard they treated in my neighborhood, so I thought I'd give them a try. I'm a little concerned w/ their sales technique though - Michael Thomas leaves a lawn assessment of your yard w/ price, but do not inform you that it's only the front yard. So when you call for a quote of the front & back he'll give you a low estimate. Once you sign up then he'll say that the rep will be out to treat your yard will give you the price for the back as well which is far more expensive than what they led you to believe. Fortunately I've already done my pricing comparison & have seen their work, so I reluctantly agreed. Thus far they've treated my yard once & a few weeks later I am seeing good results. I will file another report @ the end of all the treatments -this result will determine if I hire them back next year.

SHAWN WAS EXCELLENT IN EXPLAINING WHAT WE NEEDED TO DO TO OUR YARD TO HELP THE NEW GROWTH THRIVE FOR A LUSH LAWN NEXT YEAR. WE JUST MOVED IN AND RECENTLY ADDED IRRIGATION SO OUR LAWN IS PRETTY NEW AND SPARSE IN MANY AREAS. WE WILL CONTINUE THE TREATMENT PROGRAM THE BUILDER SET UP FOR US.

WE HAVE BEEN USING TRUGREEN FOR THREE YEARS. OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN VERY POSITIVE. THE OFFICE STAFF HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY HELPFUL. THE SPECIALIST GIVES GOOD FEEDBACK AND TIPS ON LAWN CARE.

OVERALL I THINK THEY'VE DONE A FAIRLY DECENT JOB, HOWEVER, I AM STARTING TO SEE MORE WEEDS NOW DUE TO THE TYPE OF SEASON. I HAVE THE OPTION OF CALLING TO REPORT WEED INFESTATION AND, IN THE PAST, THEY'VE RESPONDED QUICKLY AND PROFESSIONALLY. SO FAR, I'VE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE.

THEY ARE WORKING WELL WITH ME AND I AM SATISFIED WITH WHAT THEY'VE OFFERED AND THE WAY THEY'VE GONE ABOUT IT. THEY ARE GIVING ME A FREE AERATION, SEEDING, A LIME APPLICATION, AND THE NEXT TWO FERTILIZING TREATMENTS FOR FREE. THE REGIONAL MANAGER CAME OUT TO LOOK AT THE YARD. THEY HAVE REALLY BEEN FAIR. I WILL BRAG ON THEM TO EVERYBODY BECAUSE THEY HAVE RESPONDED IN SUCH A GOOD WAY. COST IS NOT INCLUDED BECAUSE I PREPAY FOR TREATMENTS.

ON THURSDAY 3/10 I RETURNED HOME FROM MY WORK TO FIND A TRUGREEN ESTIMATE IN MY MAILBOX. THE ADDRESS WAS CORRECT, BUT THE OWNER'S NAME WAS THE PERSON FROM WHOM WE PURCHASED THIS PROPERTY OVER 7 YEARS AGO. WE HAVE NEVER SUBSCRIBED TO LAWN SERVICE OF ANY KIND. ALTHOUGH TRUGREEN'S JIM ROSS DID AN ANALYSIS OF MY FRONT YARD, I AM OFFENDED THAT HE CAME ON MY PROPERTY TO DO THIS WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR INVITATION. TO ME, THIS IS AN UNDERHANDED SALES TACTIC, NOT TO MENTION TRESPASSING, AND IT DOESN'T MATTER THAT THE ANALYSIS WAS FREE.

QUICK, EFFICIENT, BUT TOO EARLY TO JUDGE LAWN QUALITY. JUST STARTING OFF.

THE FIRST YEAR WAS OK, NOTHING OUTSTANDING, BUT 2004 HAS BEEN STEADILY DOWNHILL! POOR COMMUNICATION. WHEN PROBLEMS POINTED OUT, LOTS OF "PASSING THE BUCK", BLAMING PAST EMPLOYEES. LITTLE CORRECTIVE ACTION. I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MANY TIMES WE HEARD, "NOW'S NOT THE TIME OF YEAR TO TAKE CARE OF THAT." PROMISES MADE, BUT NOT KEPT. MY YARD HAS NEVER LOOKED WORSE! THEY'RE NOW TRYING TO CHARGE SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE TO COMPLETE THIS YEAR'S IN WRITING CONTRACTED SERVICES. MARK, MATT, SMILEY, & RICK HAVE BEEN UNRESPONSIVE AND/OR SOMETIMES RUDE. THEIR OFFICE WON'T GIVE ME MIKE FRANSICO'S # WHO IS REGIONAL MGR. AND LISTED AS THE CONTACT ON ANGIE'S LIST. THEIR 12 COMPLAINTS OVER THE LAST 3 YEARS AT THE BBB AREN'T CONSIDERED UNUSUAL! I'VE ADDED ONE MORE TO THAT.

MY YARD BECAME A WEED DISASTER WHILE USING THIS COMPANY. I PERSONALLY OBSERVED A TECHNICIAN ARRIVE, COVER ONLY A SMALL FRACTION OF MY YARD AND LEAVE. I FIRED THEM SHORTLY AFTERWARDS. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE.

WE HAVE BEEN PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE AND RESULTS. WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.

MONTHLY CONTRACT, INCLUDES MOWING, EDGING, BUSHES, SHRUBS, AND LAWN CARE. HAVE BEEN PLEASED SINCE I BEGAN USING IN THE 70'S.

WE WERE BILLED TWICE IN JANUARY. SIX MONTHS LATER - CHARGED AGAIN. PAYED BY CHECK AFTER THAT FOR MISHAP. CAME IN JUNE TO DO SERVICE. CANCELLED ACCOUNT AND NEVER SHOWED UP IN SEPTEMBER.

TRUGREEN PERFORMED THIS SERVICE FOR ME FOR THREE YEARS. MY YARD LOOKED TERRIBLE. HAD BIG BALD SPOTS, LOTS OF WEEDS AND THE GRASS WAS PRETTY THIN WHERE IT DID EXIST. COMPLAINING DID NOTHING. SUPERVISOR AGREED THE LAWN DID LOOK BAD AND OFFERED TO DO NOTHING TO CORRECT. REPLACED WITH SCOTTS FOR THE EXACT SAME SERVICE AND PRICE AND THE LAWN LOOKS FANTASTIC.

DO NOT LET THEM CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD AUTOMATICALLY! DOUBLE BILLED ME LAST SUMMER AND TRIED TO SNEAK AN EXTRA $110 CHARGE ON MY CARD IN FEB 2002 BECAUSE LIGHTNING AFFECTED THEIR CREDIT CARD MACHINE LAST SUMMER. HUH??? OTHERWISE, EMPLOYEES ARE COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL.

RETURNED CALL PROMPTLY, DID THEIR FREE 14-POINT LAWN ANALYSIS & FOLLOWED UP W/ PHONE CALL. NO PRESSURE TO SIGN UP. 2 WEEKS LATER THE DIFFERENCE IN MY LAWN HAS BEEN DRAMATIC! WE ARE VERY PLEASED! COST $32 EVERY OTHER MONTH & SO FAR HAS BEEN WORTH EVERY PENNY.

TOTALLY INCOMPETENT, HAVEN'T YET RECEIVED REFUND FOR SERVICE NOT RENDERED.

FOR SHRUB & TREE CARE THEY ARE OUTSTANDING. I USE TECHNICIAN "GREG WINELDA". CALL THE NIGHT BEFORE THEY COME OUT.

THEY ARE VERY TIMELY, I HAVE THEM CALL BEFORE THEY COME SO I CAN CUT IT AHEAD OF TIME. THEY CARE FOR MY TREES AND SHRUBS. OVERALL SATISFIED.
