TOWN & COUNTRY FENCE

This is the second fence I've had installed by them. I had great service the first time so I had no hesitation having them come back and do it again for us. The one thing that I like about their company is we have small dogs so they have aluminum fence and you don't have to worry about the smaller dog getting through that. They keep in touch with you because ours was a special order. They showed up on time. They were very good about picking up after themselves in terms of any extra parts that they have hanging around or things like that. They were very professional. We had a couple of bids and they came in the best.

Town & Country Fence was awesome. They did exactly what they said they were going to do for the price. Two guys came out and installed it and did it all in one day. The guys essentially apologized to me for taking a lunch break. They were very, very conscientious guys. They were professional and polite; it's pretty rare these days. Their pricing was lower than the two or three other quotes I got. I would recommend them to people.

It went outstanding, the service was professional and the owner was present during the entire process.... The sod quality was great and the ground prep definitely ensured a quality service...

We are very please with the results. This is a family business and they know their product. The young man that came to our home for the consultation was very professional and friendly. One main reason we chose this company is that a REAL LIVE PERSON answered the phone. That clinched it for us!!

Came out quickly within the week for estimate. They were very patient and accommodating as we had issues with our property survey and they had reschedule. Fortunately they were able to schedule us right away once we got the go ahead from the surveyor. The install went really well and they were finished in 2 days. A really bad storm at the end of day 2 prevented us from doing final inspection. The office sent someone out within the next couple of days to do the final walk around to make sure everything was secure. Found a couple of minor spots that the foreman took care of on the spot. They did not require payment until we had the final inspection and approval of the work. (Besides the initial deposit) Seemed very fair and couldn't beat the pricing on a beautiful black aluminum fence with spires! Will have them do work again once pool is finished.

Everyone was highly professional; superb customer service; met all appointments; kept me informed. The installers were personable, prompt, and definitely knowledgeable and hard working. I will definitely recommend Town & Country Fence. They deserve an A+ grade.

The installation went well and was stress free. We did find a hose that appears to be an air hose left on our neighbors property just outside of our fence, as well as packages of nails for their nail guns that had been left behind in the yard. Otherwise, they mostly cleaned up upon job completion. They came back within a few days to get the nails after we called. The real issue has been the follow-up since the fence was installed and we paid the invoice in full. After installation we have experienced issues with the latches that they used and how the gates open and close. Whether the gates have started to sag, or if this is natural for the gates I'm not sure, however it became increasingly difficult to open the gates to the point where they were unusable, especially the double gate. We called the office approximately 5-6 times requesting that someone come out to look at the gate and we were told that they would look to see when they would be close by to our address to come look. Each time we called, we never got a follow-up call with the information on when they'd be there, and we never got past the initial person to answer the phone. On the next to last call, a different person answered the phone and I explained the situation to them, and they raised the priority of the request and said they would look into it. Eventually there was a job being performed on our actual road, and they were able to send a couple people by to look at the fence. The person that came out adjusted the latches, moving them up or down accordingly so that they worked without much issue. The gates worked fine for about a month, but the latches have again become hard to use. They don't close without using excessive force, and won't go into place unless you really push them in. Unfortunately, the latches have a significant amount of scratches from the amount of times we have gone in and out of the gate using this method. I called Town and Country Fence last week to let them know I was having issues with the latches again, and have not heard back from them yet. I have no confidence that I will hear back from them through calling into their phone number, so I am writing this review in hopes that they contact me. All my ratings are true however, I am satisfied with the fence as a whole, however I am severely disappointed by the contact from the company once they were paid in full, as well as the lack of responsiveness to their customers.

Everything was pretty good. The only thing that could have been better is if they had let us know they were coming. The quality was very good. The workers were very efficient, nice and answered all of our questions.

We signed the contract on May 8th,2014. The sales representative, Kenny Ratchford, met on appointment date and time. He was a very neat and personable sales rep. He explained everything & gave us several choices. We chose a 4 foot PVC Wood Buster,, this fence has no wood in it. The cost of a PVC fence compared to a wood fence was minimal.After we had picked out 3 inch spacing for the pickets, we changed our minds and chose 2 inch because our Boston Terrier puppy could have gotten out thru the 3 inch spacing. The cost was very minimal. We also had to hire a property surveyor to have the rear yard surveyed and property stakes placed for proper property lines. That cost us an additional $150.00. We had to get HOA approval, that took a couple of weeks. The crew that installed the fence were very professional and courteous. They did a magnificent job. There was a 3 day delay because sections of the fence had to be re-manufactured because of the steep slope at the rear of the property. They cleaned up the inside of the yard and the neighbors side. The gates are very heavy duty and work marvelous. The plus side of going thru Angie's list, was we got a free 4 foot gate,. All phone calls and emails to and from Town And Country Fence, were answered in a timely manner. The white 4 foot PVC fence is just beautiful, our 8 month old Boston Terrier could not be any happier. We would recommend Town And Country Fence to any one any time.

Keith came out and gave us an estimate. He was probably the most helpful of the bunch and gave the best recommendations. He gave us information on the warranty and went over all of the fence options and costs. Town and Country offered the best installation price and was the most informative of the companies that gave an estimate. The folks at Town and Country came on the promised day (about a week after we signed the contract) and promptly began work. Our yard was pretty rocky which slowed them a little. They did not cut any corners and even came back the next day with a jack hammer to ensure all of the posts were deep into the ground and filled with concrete. Our neighbor had a dead tree which was hanging over the fence line into our yard, and instead of just haphazardly finishing the job, they waited until we could remove the tree to complete installation, preventing future damage to the fence. Checking the perimeter, the fence is very solid and professionally installed. We are very satisfied with the job they did! They were very professional and we highly recommend them!

The style and quality of our PVC white fence looks amazing. Our neighbors love our new fence too. Because Town and County Fence make their fences in house, their quality cannot be beat. They are also competitive in their pricing. Brian Sr. and his staff were friendly and professional while our fence was being installed. My husband and I are very pleased with our new fence, not to mention our 3 dogs that are now free to roam! We highly recommend Town and Country Fence to anyone who is looking for a quality fence, and most importantly great customer service. Thank you!!

Ken Ratchford worked with us to design a fence that met the needs of our 5 large dogs and our neighbors. All work was completed as contracted and the job was started and finished when promised. Overall a very good experience.

They were on time and performed the job professionally. Would highly recommend. Of the five quotes we received Town & Country was the middle regarding cost, but the product Town & Country offered, seemed to be the highest quality. Our property is quite hilly and uneven. We needed to have the bottom of the fence as close to the ground as possible due to the dogs. The work crews installed the fence almost perfectly. Once again, highly recommend

Our salesperson Brian was very responsive, and Luann in the office helped keep us all on the same page. Fence installation was delayed a few weeks due to weather. Installation was clean and quick.

Town & Country Fence did a very good job and was priced very competitively.

The paperwork they gave us was impeccable. It was very clear. He understood exactly what we wanted and he drew it out on a proposal. Everything was on there. It was basically like a contract as well, so that we knew exactly what we were getting ourselves into if we decided to go with them. I wasn't so happy with their price. They were very professional.

They were professional, prompt, and did a good job. Price was comparable to other companies we received quotes from.

We had a fence installed around our back yard. The initial installation went very well. It was done in a timely manner and they showed up when they said they were going to. I called them about a month or two after it was installed because I wanted to see if they could change the location of one of the gates. They came out right away to look at it and said they would get back to me. One week later, after not hearing from them, I called to check on it. They were very nice and admitted they forgot about it, but said they would get back to me after checking with the boss. I have yet to hear anything back from them over a month later. I have since given up on hearing from them. Would have been a great experience with them had they not ignored my request for the alteration to the gate.

We had to reschedule them several times because of delays in the pool construction. They were very accommodating. They completed the fence in less than a day.

They seemed like a decent company. They gave me two quotes for the job; one with just moving the gate for about $250 and the other one was to make and install a new gate which was a little bit more. They did seem real reasonable. The only thing was that when I called they said that I had to talk to some guy and that I could only call in at 9:30 in the morning. Once I got through that and got to the salesman everything went pretty smooth and good. He got back to me pretty quickly. The quote that he came back with had explanations of everything that they were going to do and my options and stuff like that. He explained it real well. If I ever decide to do this work, I would definitely use them.

Excellent. Professional and polite workers came and did all just as advertised. Gate looks exceptional. My farm now has an "executive" gate appearance to it.

They were all nice, seemed good, friendly, and professional. They had the best estimate. We had like three estimates and they were quite a bit less than the other two. The fence looks very good.

The fence installers were prompt knowledgeable and everything came out perfectly! They installed the fence adjusted the gate and added bottom railings just as we asked the to. Also went out of their way to satisfy us with the fence hardware

They were prompt to send out a salesperson who was very thorough walking the lot with me and pointing out potential issues with existing sprinkler heads and the survey pins. At the time of sale I was told there was no difference in price, availability or installation for the black vs. bronze color fence so I chose bronze to go with our exterior trim colors. Once installation was scheduled, all fence pieces were installed in 2 days. However, neither gate was available. After I called the company I was told that the gates wouldn't be available for another 2 weeks which is not what I had been told by the salesman. The installers also told me I was getting a "regular" gate on the side where the ground slopes rather than the requested and agreed-upon racked gate. They also installed a few sections of fence incorrectly, creating an abnormal slope to the fence. At this point I spoke with Brian, the owner. He took control of the situation and apologized for the inconvenience and mis-communication about the gates. He explained the difficulties with having a custom racked gate made in the bronze color. Brian went out of his way to order the exact bronze color from the fence manufacturer so the racked gate would match the rest of the fence. The process took longer than anticipated and required many more phone calls than I would have liked but in the end Brian delivered a beautiful product. I appreciate him stepping in to ensure what we ended up with was what we originally ordered.
