They do a great job. They are a little slow to do the work once they quote it. If you are patient they are worth the wait.

He is very good. We have used them multiple times. The gentleman who owns the service is a certified Arborist and is university trained. He will advise you on what you need to do, as well as what you don't need to do. He doesn't just come in and take trees and limbs down arbitrarily. He will tell you what you don't need to deal with right now. He has a crew of about five guys that come in and get the work done, and they clean up their mess. Both him and his crew are very professional. I can't think on anything they could improve on from this visit. I don't think he's the cheapest guy out there, but he's in line with everybody else.

I had some large Birch, Maple, Magnolia, and Pine trees that needed to be pruned up and branches taken out of them, and the canopy lifted. You call the guy out, he comes out and walks the yard with you. You talk to him about what you think you need done. He will confirm or maybe approach it differently. He can identify an issue that you might not be aware of. His price was better, relative to the competition.

I referred him to many friends. His price is good, very fair, shows up on time, clean, hauled everything away, no mess.

Mark provided a quote to remove a tree on 11/5/15. We emailed him back asking when he could do this project & he responded he couldn't give us a timeline because the weather had set him back. He suggested touching base in a few days to get a clear timeline. We heard nothing back from him. We emailed him one last time on 11/23/15 asking for an update and never heard back from him.

This is the second time that we have used Timber Tree Service. I have not been disappointed either time. Mark came out and looked everything over; told us what he thought needed to be done and even recommended taking out the Bradford Pear. He gave us a price before he left. Taking out that Bradford Pear made a huge difference in looks of the yard. Great idea!!! The crew that showed up to do the work were very professional, hard working men who did an outstanding job. They were all very pleasant and friendly and got the job done quickly. They clean up and you never knew they had been there removing and pruning trees. I will recommend them to anyone to needs tree services.

Outstanding service. They did everything they could to make this easy. They promptly returned my call. Came out the same day with an estimate. Crew came on time and cleaned up... The price was very reasonable. First rate company that believes in service. I will use the again.

The job was great from start to finish. We called on a Wednesday afternoon after I was outside and almost hit by a piece of dead tree that fell from nearly 40 feet. Mark had previously provided a quote and was able to schedule the work Saturday. Mark and his crew were very punctual and got work at the exact time they said they would on Saturday. Mark went back over what we wanted to do and told me his guys would take care of everything. He introduced me to his crew and then left his guys to it. His crew was amazing to watch! My fiancee and I literally sat outside and watched them for hours. They were very open to answering questions and asked our opinion when it was warranted to ensure we would be happy with the work. Mark returned a few times to check on his guys and ask if everything was going alright. Needless to say, the yard looks amazing and his price was extremely reasonable. His crew cleaned up better than I could have imagined and when they were done it was almost impossible to tell any work had been done that day. We will definitely be using Timber Hill for ALL of our tree services in the future!

Tree was damaged by ice/snow storm.

Mark is very honest and professional. He came out the first time to give me a free estimate on pruning my Bradford and Maple tree. Both trees are approximately 10 years old and not too big (approx 20 feet in height). Mark explained the proper way of pruning these trees and told me I could save some money and do it myself, since there isn't much to prune. I appreciated his honesty, because he could have easily told me he would do the work and ripped me off. Because of his honesty, I called him again a few weeks later to come out and give me an estimate on my backyard. Again, it was the type of work where I could probably do it myself, but I wanted to get a quote from Mark. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done and told me that he didn't think for the amount he would have to charge me, that I would be satisfied. (Mark would have to charge me some amount, since he is running a business for profit; has employees to pay; equipment to maintain; and for his time) Let me be clear - he was NOT being lazy or taking the high-road out because it was a small job. He simply didn't want to rip me off. He left the decision for me to decide on whether or not to use his service. I ended up spending the weekend doing the work myself. I really appreciated Mark's honesty. I will definitely call him again if I have future tree service in need that is too big for me to handle.

We were buying a house that had a large, dead tree on it. I contacted Timber Hill Tree Service about removal of the tree. They were less expensive than any other service I contacted and a pleasure to deal with. The tree came down a few days after closing and we were extremely happy with the job they did.

They were very prompt, professional, and they cleaned up the yard very well.

This is just the most recent time I have used their services but I have been using Timber Hill for more than 15 years. They do a fantastic job at a very fair price and they always completely clean up afterwards. I have recommended them to all my friends and I would not use any other tree service. And let me say, the first time I used them, his quote came in much lower than the other two. It made me a little uneasy. I asked why he was so much lower and he said because he gives a fair price right up front. I still didn't totally trust him and made his insurance provider fax me a copy of his coverage. I went ahead and gave him the job. Sure enough, I started getting calls from the other two companies offering to give me a "one time" big discount because they had a last minute cancellation and wanted to "keep their crews working". I love that Mark was up front from the beginning. He has done plenty of work for me over the years. I told him one time that I had $500 and asked him to come out and do $500 worth of work on my trees (raising the canopy, cutting away dead branches, etc.). I have a ton of trees. He left me a bill for under $300 saying I didn't have $500 worth of work for him! THAT is how honest he is. I absolutely love this company.

I don’t remember the price. I know it was reasonable and I got it at a great price. Overall that job went well. The people were really nice and they explained everything very thoroughly. The quality of work, the clean up and everything else was great. I would use their services again in the future.

I would say they are very efficient and very detail oriented. Easy to work with in a sense that they came out and went over what they recommended that we have done and gave a detailed account of how they would go about removing the trees and grinding the stumps, and what to expect. It was overall a great experience having them come and do it from beginning to end.

Mark Shuey is the ultimate professional in tree servicing industry. He gave us an extremely reasonable quote for the amount of work we needed. In addition, he provided us with some excellent recommendations to add value and eliminate future problems with some of our overgrown trees. We were worried one of our trees was in danger of splitting and taking out some nearby power lines. Mark agreed with our assessment and had his crew there the next day. They completed the project in just one day and the attention to detail in the clean-up process was immaculate. We were even left with some nice mulch to spread among our flower beds. I would definitely use Timber Hill Tree Service LLC in the furture and highly recommend them to anyone needing tree servicing.

He had a reasonable price. I had him come out. He did not finished the work. I called him back several times. He would not return he calls to me. He eventually said that would finish when he was on that side of town. It has been two and so far nothing.

Mark Shuey met me at my convenience at my house. We have a lot of trees on our property. I asked him to remove a fir tree near our driveway, a dogwood tree near our house, and a cedar tree in our wooded back yard. I asked him to prune trees all around our 2 story house, some of which were quite tall. I also asked him to drop a damaged tree further away from our house and leave it in smaller sections. Finally I asked him to remove the stump of the fir tree. Mark gave me a proposal that day. We asked him to go ahead 3 days later. His crew came out 10 days later and did the removal and pruning. The following day Curt came out and ground 3 stumps and a little more pruning we decided to add. We were very pleased with the overall look, which brings some more sunlight into our wooded property and keeps branches off our house.

I would have preferred to use this company. However, it was impossible to have him come out and give a quote. I waited three weeks and heard numerous excuses and I wish that they would have just told me they did not have time. Other than this one time when I have used them in the past they did good work.

They had excellent service. They came in and took down 18 trees. They cut them up and cleaned the yard. They were polite and professional. They did what we asked them to do. The price that was given to us was reasonable. I would work with them again and I would recommend them to others. And they got there when they said that they would be. And did a good job at cleaning up after themselves.

It went well. Mark Shuey, the owner, called me to set up the time & let me know when they would be back the next day to finish up. The only negative thing I have to say is Timber Hill doesn't take credit cards. Other than that, Timber Hill is definitely on my list to call again for tree service.
