Description of Work: He was punctual with getting out to give free estimate, however, it took some time to actually send me the estimates. We discussed the schedule for completing the work; all work was not to be completed in one day. The one day he was supposed to come out for a task, he stated that he would have to reschedule, however, I have not heard from him since. I got the feeling that he didn't want to do the work for me, so I didn't follow up either. During consultation he often made comments about his inability to do certain things for medical reasons. I contacted him because of the reviews, but he didn't live up to what everyone else said.

 + 3 moreJohn responds within 24 hours every time. He will let you know when he can do the job, when it will be finished, and contacts you before arriving. He is kind to everyone in the house (I have two small children who are very curious) and can barely be noticed when on the job. He does quality work at an affordable price. I could not ask for more in a handyman.
Description of Work: I have used John Marus on multiple occasions. He has repaired masonry on my front entryway, repaired my door frame, replaced siding on my home, and various other random jobs. He is professional, courteous, responsive, and manages expectations well. His prices have never been called into question, and bills exactly what he quotes. I would strongly recommend him for any handyman job.

Description of Work: The One Man Handyman LLC came out to remove a garbage disposal. He removed the non-functioning disposal and re-plumbed everything to work without the disposal.

 + -1 moreSimple, efficient, professional from start to finish! The job took about 2.5 days (had to allow the paint to dry between coats) and was virtually hassle free. We were never left without a locking door, which I really appreciated! We will definitely call John the next time we need any handyman work done. He was wonderful!
Description of Work: John replaced our old door, storm door and trim with a new door, new storm door, and new trim. In addition, he primed and painted the door and new trim and installed a new doorbell cover, and all the new door hardware. The results are Beautiful!! The doors fit perfectly and are airtight (no annoying drafts, leaks, sticking!) I loved the fact that John gave us the complete price for all the work up front and not a cent more was needed to complete the job.
