I found The Lamp Place on Angie's List and hoped that they could repair my lamp's turn-on switch. The employees were both knowledgeable and cordial. I was given the choice of leaving the lamp or waiting while it was repaired. I happily waited for the lamp and enjoyed browsing among the lamps, shades, and accessories for the short amount of time it took to repair the switch and to add a fresh night light in the base. I'm delighted to have my lamp back in working order and would definitely recommend The Lamp Place for lamp problems.

I had a lamp made to match one that I had purchased there previously. I was extremely pleased with them. The ladies were very very helpful. I would highly recommend them.

Not only did the Lamp Place fixed the lamp, they did it in record time. The shop was a little busy, but the employees told me they'd have someone look at it right away. I was on my lunch hour, and expected to have to leave the lamp there. But they fixed it under 10 minutes, telling me all they had to do was replace the plug. The cost was less than $10. the lamp has worked fine ever since.

The shop was very busy, but I waited only a minute before Darryl, asked what I needed repaired. I told him I had tried to fix one lamp myself but couldn't undo the socket, and showed him the parts I had already purchased elsewhere. I asked if he could use the parts to fix one lamp, and supply their parts to fix the second lamp I brought with me. He agreed. I also asked if there were stems (lamp switches) easier to handle than the standard one I had for the first lamp,. He quickly found a stem that fit the lamp and had no rough ridges to grasp-a big improvement. He took both lamps to the repair room and had them fixed and back to me within a very short time. They offer various discounts (Senior discount on Wednesdays, and some coupons from time to time on Angie's List), so on top of outstanding and friendly service, I was able to save 20% on labor charges.

They had the parts and fixed it right there on the past. We are quite pleased with our new lamp. If you need a lamp repaired, have them check it if they can fix it for you.

This company has been around for a while and the staff is very knowledgeable. I won't buy shades anywhere else.

My husband took the lamps in to be repaired. One switch was stripped and other was antique lamp and switch was sparking. My husband said they were exceptionally professional and completed the work in a timely manner. We would definitely use them again.

This is the second time I have used them for a lamp repair. They are great! They replaced the socket while I waited. It took about 15 minutes.

We have two 50 year old lamps that needed the plug and wiring replaced. The lady that waited on us was friendly and very helpful, they had a good selection of wiring. The repair was done faster than they had told us. They also have a great selection of lamps and lamp shades.

They are very nice folks, the prices were reasonable, and they did a good job for me.

It would have been fine with me if they had simply taken the lamps and called me when fixed; but they went the extra mile to test the lamps and see if they could identify the problem right then. It turned out that the repairs were very easy and so they asked me if I could wait a few minutes while they resolved the problem. Perfect service in my opinion.

Brought in lamp to leave for repair but they were able to complete repair while I waited to save me a return trip. Repair was completed in about 15 minutes.

Sales person was available at the time we walked in. She brought out quite a few shades for each lamp, to show the range of available sizes and shapes. It's surprising how many variations there are in basic white fabric shades. After quite a bit of going back and forth, we found shades we liked for both pairs.

We just took our lamp in to a professional that was on duty. They do everything. They sell lamp shades and replace cords. They have a great inventory. They aren't the cheapest people in town but they have someone that can do repair work right on the spot. They have a specialized service so I feel like it's reasonable for them to charge a little more.

It was very quick -- almost too quick. I didn't get to browse, so it probably saved me more money!

I found them on Angie's List and was pleased with their work. I took my lamp to them and they fixed it while I was there. Its a Mom & Pop shop and they are professional and very pleasant. I was impressed.

They repaired both lamps at a price that was below the anticipated cost. They were ready on the date that we had been given. The staff was courteous and helpful. I would definitely use them again, and I would recommend them.

They were incredibly helpful. There were two people in the store and both knew every shade in the store and could go to it quickly if you described what you were looking for. They had a good eye for what looked good for each lamp and what didn't. They stayed past closing to help us with no complaints. They were great to work with.

They did a very good job. I was pleased with their customer service. One lamp took a little longer than anticipated - they determined after they had done the planned repair that further work needed done. Overall I am very satisfied.
