THE BLADE DOCTOR

We call Scott for any lawn mower repairs we have. This is our 3rd time having him out and he assessed that our 7 yr. old large mower had a flywheel key sheared. Unfortunately, a larger repair service will have to fix the problem, but I feel good knowing that I can tell the other company what is going on when they get it because Scott is so honest. I hope this is our last repair for awhile, but I am glad that Scott provides such a quality service.

scott came by my house to do the work and left me the bill i did not have to be home.he did a great job i will use him again when i need work done.

It went extremely well. Mr. Scott is a nicest man I have ever met. While he serviced my lawnmower I chatted with him like he was a long lost relative. I asked questions about what he was doing and he explained what was going on. The process did not take long at all. I definitely will be recommending Mr. Scott to any and everyone I know. The man is wonderful. And for him to take time to come out of a Sunday speaks volumes to me. Thanks Mr. Scott.

Very punctual, and courteous. Helpful in giving me advice to have better performance from my 24 year Honda mower. Maybe with his help it will last another 20 years

Scott was wonderful to deal with. I left him a voicemail and he called back before the end of the day to schedule an appointment. He arrived when he said he would arrive. He also took a look at my weed eater as well as sharpening my lawn mower blade. I will be using his services in the future. Highly recommended!

I called Scott and left a message in his answering machine. He has a day job that's why he doesn't pick up the phone during regular hours. The same night he called me back and I explained what I needed (new pull cord and sharpening) and he quote me the cost which was a great price. He only works on mowers on Saturdays so I had to wait until then for him to come but I wasn't in any kind of rush. He came in about one hour earlier than the scheduled time in the morning, which was great as freed me up earlier. He was a great guy to talk to and very professional. The service was completed to my complete satisfaction at a great price. I will definitely call Scott again if I need other services to be performed in mower.

Mr. Adams called me back on Friday to check and see if I was able to get a new lint screen for my lawnmower and if that solved the problem I was having with my lawnmower not starting. I told him I had not gotten around to it yet but I was going to do it that day or the next day. He told me to call him and let him know if I had anymore problems with the lawnmower or if that didn't work. He would be happy to come out and take a look at it. We replaced the lint screen and the lawnmower started up just fine and we were able to finish mowing our lawn. I called Mr. Adams back and let him know he was correct it was the lint screen causing the problem. We also went back over the instructions for emptying out the gasoline and oil and storing the lawnmower until next year when Spring arrives and we start mowing our lawns again. Mr. Adams was very professional and genuinely wanted to help us find and fix the problems with our lawnmower. I would highly reccomend him.

I had a great experience. Scott came to my house on a Saturday afternoon and repaired a lawn mower that had stopped working. Since he was already here, I asked him to also do the annual maintanence and shappen the blade. The mower now works better than it has in a long time. All for just 40.00..... I plan to use this company again on an annual basis. Couldn't be happier with the work preformed.

Scott originally scheduled the job for Thursday (I initially called Tuesday of the prior week) , but he was able to come out sooner. As always, it's a pleasure to see him, and he got the mower repaired, as the saying goes, "in no time". This was the second time I've had Scott work on my mower, and as before, I can't be more pleased with his work. As far as I'm concerned, he's the only one to call for lawn mower repairs.

Scott came out the same day we needed him he was on time and did a very professional job. Also a very nice guy. Fixed the mower would highly recommend calling him for a mower need. Thankful for Angies List recommendations, we have had great experiences with vendors we have selected!

Scott Adams The Blade Doctor Reliable and Quick service. Dependable Christian Man He worked diligently and covered all areas of my lawnmower thoroughly. He took his time and made sure I understood what he was doing and how to avoid problems in the future. He told me when he and leaving to contact him if I had anymore problems. He actually charged me very little considering all the time and effort he put into my lawnmower repair. I was pleasantly surprised about that. I dont know him and have never heard about him until I called Angie's List needing help. The employees of Angie's List were so kind and helpful because I could not get on the Internet at that time and they gave me 6 repair people/places in my vicinity over the telephone. Excellent service and very happy to help in any way. This is what anyone would want in a service provider. Thanks again to Angie's List employees and also Mr Adams of The Blade Doctor. I had called several other companies and they were closed already or fixing to close for the day. One of the other companies was going to charge me MORE to come out and look at my lawnmower than Mr. Adams charged me to come out AND FIX my lawnmower. I called @4:30-5:30 pm on Friday. Mr. Adams came to my house @ 1:00 pm on the next day (Saturday). Excellent Service from The Blade Doctor who I just met him today (Saturday).

Blade Doctor came out and tried to fix our nearly new lawn mower. It's a total lemon. (Don't ever buy Troy Built - it's a POS). We've had it checked by one other mechanic and they couldn't fix it. Blade Doctor had a great attempt and took the entire thing apart three times, working on it for over an hour. Then bc he couldn't fix it only wanted us to pay him $10! We felt terrible and paid him $30 instead. He was timely, very reasonake prices and polite. Definitely recommend!

I couldn't have more pleased, not only with the repair, but at a cost of $35, this savings alone paid for my list membership.

He did a great job by getting all equipment going and sharpened blades on the riding mower. Will definitely use him again. Excellent, excellent service.

Fantastic. A real bargain.

He was really good. He came right out and was very accommodating. He did some additional work once he was on site and saw what I needed. He did an excellent job and was excellent priced. He came out to my house and so, the price was very reasonable. He did a lot for $50. I would use him again.

Scott arrived earlier than the appointed time, and got right to work. My mower, which hadn't be used for over 3 years, would not start, much less run. He soon had it operating and starting with one pull. He also checked out my gas powered trimmer which was running rough. His diagnosis was bad fuel, something for me to take care of. With a bill of only $35, I would be glad to recommend Scott to anyone needing this kind of work done.

Our large walk-behind mower needed the clutch wire installed properly. Our old mower just did not work. Scott Adams arrived at the scheduled time of 8am on a Saturday morning. He repaired the walk-behind mower and showed my husband how to fill the new battery for replacement. Then, he sharpened the bladed. He then found out the carburetor in the old mower was clogged. He cleaned and got that mower running like new. We had called another provider (not on Angie's List) and he said just to pick it up and look at one of the mowers would have been a $40 trip charge. When I checked Angie's List and found The Blade Doctor, I was thrilled that he could fix it at our home. In the future, we would never call anyone else to work on our mowers. He was fair, courteous, and on-time.

Scott came out on Fathers Day. Traveled a bit of a distance and only charged me $25. He's great at great he does and a super nice guy. I'm sure I will be seeing him again,

He never picked up his phone - always went to voicemail. When I finally got him on the phone he said that I would have to figure out what part that was broken and order the replacement. He also said that he only works on this on Saturdays. I went out and ordered what I think is the correct replacement part. I received it in the mail on Friday and tried calling him again - and again no answer on his phone. Left a message and waited all day Saturday to hear back from him. I didn't. He called on Sunday and said that he wouldn't be able to come out until next Saturday. Tried to get him to come out sooner but he said he couldn't since it was supposed to rain. I have no idea how this guy has so many good reviews on this site. He seems completely unreliable.

Changed drive and throttle cable on my push mower. changed the oil and got it running like new. Great experience would use again in a second.

He was on time, polite & clean working and he was very respectful to my house by wiping off his shoes!

Scott is awesome. If you need anything done with small engines/mowers/etc or sharpening, this is the guy to hire hands down. He fixed a chipper and got it running, tuned up a lawn mower that had sat for 6 years, and sharpened the mower blade and a few kitchen knives for a price that was unbeatable. I would've paid double what he charged for the work he did. Will not hesitate to hire him again if needed.

Went fantastic. We got up early, and Steve came 30 minutes earlier than scheduled. We were thrilled that he got the mower running in 10 minutes. He checked it all out, and everything else was fine. The entire process took 30 minutes. We were so happy w/Steve that we will always call him if we need to in the future.
