I would avoid. Too many missed deadlines and broken promises. Brought in stuff we didn’t order, didn’t bring stuff we did. Bathroom wainscoting looks like a toddler installed. All measurements done by arbor staff were incorrect which resulted in incorrect cabinets being built. When we noticed, they did correct, but acted like they were doing us a favor by doing so even though their contract states if measurements are off by x amount they would be redone (paraphrase). First project manager left several thousand dollars worth of plumbing fixtures in my driveway to potentially be stolen and left in the elements. Wasn’t moved until I complained and even then he didn’t understand why I was balked. They gave us a 1 year warranty which they are not honoring. We submitted warranty claim within 1 year but since cabinet guy is so “busy” he couldn’t come until later. We spotted the cabinet guy 5 months, still hasn’t shown up and arbor doesn’t return texts, emails, calls or verbal inquiries. They quoted a 6 month completion timeline but took about 14. This guy lives in my neighborhood. We’ve known of each other for probably 15 years. Because of this I expected a level of professionalism. Silly me. If they can do this to a neighbor imagine the accountability they would have for your project.
Description of Work: We remodeled our downstairs, kitchen, 3 bathrooms and our rec room.

will never work with this company again. They have been reported to the Better Business Bureau and NC Board of Contractors Licensing.
Description of Work: Our company sub-contracted under Arbor Construction as painters and it has been nothing but problems since. They refuse to pay for 4 different projects from November 2019. Apparently they aren't paying any of their sub-contractors. The supervisors are rude and unreasonable and the owner will not respond to calls or emails to work these problems out, which is highly unprofessional. BEWARE -- If they treat subs dishonestly they will not be honest with homeowners as well, and their refusal to pay sub-contractors can result in homeowners being caught in the middle while liens are put against property.

Mike along with the Tile subcontractors assured us that the tiles were laid properly and that they would not get worse. Actually we were told we couldn't replace any tiles that were loose because they would most likely break all tiles that touched the loose ones. We were considering asking for the entire tile floor to be replaced , but Arbor convinced us that no more tiles would loosen or become unlevel. We believed them! Our mistake. Many tiles are now loose and unlevel and I anticipate it will only get worse as we have only lived here 10 months. We have not called them to look at it again because they were so nasty when we called them about the AC that they were supposed to repair before the closing. Other items such as soffit/ gutters were not repaired as requested and paid for by homeowner. We were told they were in the walk through.
Description of Work: Arbor construction was hired to do repairs before we purchased the house. We had asked that tile flooring be repaired in foyer and kitchen areas. Tiles were loose and unlevel. Before closing on the property we met with Mike from Arbor at the house. Arbor was also supposed to fix the soffit around the gutters. Water is still leaking from the rotted wood 10 months later. They clearly did not do the repairs we and the prior owner requested before closing.

We purchased our home on July 1. They were hired by the previous owner to do work that we had requested to be fixed before purchasing. We started noticing problems with the master bedroom A/C not cooling properly, which was one of the things that we had requested they look into and fix. I called them this week, and they sent out the the same subcontracted people who had serviced it the first time to come back out to look at it. Apparently, the first time they serviced it, they did not do any repairs, only cleaned the coils and did basic service, and did not locate the problem as we requested, although they did sign off on it as though it were fixed. Within 30 minutes, they had found 3 problems with it. They said that they would fix it, and they didn't think that Arbor would have a problem with them just fixing it at no cost. It turned out that Arbor did have a problem with it, and they convinced the HVAC guy to do the work at cost, with me having to pay for it, which was $236. Arbor would not take any responsibility in not having found the problem the first time. The field super intendant, Jason, and the owner were very rude, defensive, and unwilling to work anything out with us.

This was a totally stress free installation. Brad was on site for the installation along with Tim his technician. Everything was removed staged for disposal in the 2 car garage. The outside air conditioning unit went in smoothly on its new pad. The furnace in the attic was put on a new pan and the drain pipe replaced to insure proper drainage. I was shown the changes in the attic and given an explanation of what had been done. The heat was on and working by 4pm. By 5pm everything was loaded to be hauled away, the garage swept clean, in fact cleaner than they found it. All work was done professionally and I felt that both Brad and Tim wanted me to be super satisfied. I would recommend Arbor-Air to both friends and family. They are a small company, a young company and they care.
Description of Work: Work Description: I had both my furnace and air conditioner replaced and upgraded by ARBOR-AIR a member of the Arbor-Air Construction Group LLC. They were original when the house built in 1994. Brad came to my home, discussed my needs, wants and budget. He inspected the equipment to be replaced and looked carefully at all the ductwork in the attic to be sure it was able to be reused. He returned to his office and emailed a quotation before close of business that day. I had additional questions about the size and asked for more details. He always responded promptly and answered my questions fully. He returned to complete an energy survey to confirm that his design was going to perform as needed. This allowed me to feel comfortable with my choice of Lennox and my choice of Arbor-Air. The decision was made on the 3rd of December. The installation was completed, in one day on Dec 12th, 2012.
