Adam did an excellent job installing new screens and a new door on my porch and painting the outside trim in the porch area. His price was fair and he is very reliable, coming when he says he will be there and finishing the job promptly. I definitely intend to use him for future projects on my house.

Adam was extremely responsive from the first phone call I made to him. He picked up my phone call on Day 1 and told me he was busy but because we were looking to move quickly he would accommodate what we needed. He was able to make it out to review the work we needed by that weekend. He provided a very affordable quote within 2 days. He was out the following week to do the repairs and had them all finished by 4pm. He worked around our schedule (we have 2 children under the age of 3) to start a little later than usual and was still wrapped up by 4pm. Overall the finished outcome was exactly what I was looking for, he went above and beyond my expectation and it looks as if repairs were never done. Adam was very professional, responsive, diligent and paid close attention to the details. I would recommend and hire Adam again in a heartbeat.

Replaced rotten wood inside chimney, including support beams, siding. Repaired, painted & left the house looking like new. We discovered ant infestation & much more damage than originally thought. The flashing & drip shields were restored or replaced, overall an outstanding job.

I needed rotted wood replaced on my deck and called Sure Serve. Adam Sztyber quickly returned call and a time was set up for him to look at deck. He was on time for the appointment. We discussed the deck's problems, and he said he would get back to me via email. His proposal was promptly received via email. After getting several other quotes, I decided to go with another contractor; however, I will definitely keep Sure Serve in mind for any future projects. He excelled in promptness and communication.

This was the second time we worked with Adam and could not have been more pleased. He built a closet in our master bedroom and graciously accommodated a change to the project midway through. It turned out great and looks as if it has always been there. Additionally, he replaced rotting wood and masonite on the dormers and elsewhere on the exterior of our house. He was punctual, pleasant, and hardworking. We especially appreciated his consideration in looking out for our dog. We would definitely love to work with Adam again and he will be our first call for home improvement projects.

Adam arrived promptly at the time agreed upon. He and his worker installed the new trim with PVC material which doesn't rot, caulked it and painted it. It took several hours and the job was well done and complete. They removed the rotted materials and were very careful of my plantings that were in front of the window they were working on. I will hire Adam again as there are other repairs that will need to be done in the near future.

Adam and John arrived promptly on day 1, performed numerous odd jobs, removed all of the things I had stored in my 3 car garage and prepped the garage floor. On day 2 they performed additional odd jobs and applied the Epoxy coating to the garage floor which had to be dried overnight. They returned on day 3, and moved all of my STUFF back into the garage and helped me throw away a lot of junk that had accumulated over the years. All of the stains on my garage floor are gone and the floor looks new. Because I have COPD I am unable to perform a lot of activities and Adam and John were a huge help in getting my home in shape. They have my unequivocal recommendation.

The repair looks better than I had expected. The gentlemen were very respectful of my home and put down drop cloths and plastic to prevent splatter. I am very pleased.

Very prompt and professional service

I've never been more impressed with an Angie's list 'provider'. While Adam didn't actually do the work for me, he spent an incredible amount of time helping me think through the project and went above and beyond to find a carpenter he thought would be better suited to complete it. He was amazing. Not only prompt and professional but clearly honest and a genuinely good person. I will definitely hire him the next time I need a carpenter. Highly recommended!

Adam was great; very responsive, on time, and polite. His price was very reasonable, and he was industrious and accomplished a lot in one day. We will definitely call him again when the need his services and would recommend him without hesitation to our friends and family.

Adam arrived exactly on time to give me an estimate for the work. He assessed the problem and told me that I needed to get a new door and repair the place where the leak was causing the damage. This was the Friday after Thanksgiving, and he returned the same afternoon and did the work. I had no way of getting a new door, so he picked it up for me and I reimbursed him for the door and materials. The total including the door and materials was $485. I was very pleased with his work, and would use him for any handyman project in the future.

I chose Sure Serve for my clients (I'm a Realtor) based on other reviews. Adam called me back soon after I left a message and was round at the house later that day. He was courteous and professional. The location of the water intrusion wasn't evident at first so Adam came 2 more times until he was sure he had fixed the problem. My clients were very happy with his work.

I am completely satisfied and if I need additional work I will call them. They did the job in record time.

Mr. Sztyber made adjustments to the steps once he began to make it easier for my elderly mother to walk up and down the steps. He recommended a composite product to be used at the front door threshold instead of wood that will not rot like wood.

I called Adam. He came out right away, examined the situation, and suggested to remove the 6 tiles on top of the dishwaher. he found the replacedment tiles with Daltile, ordered them, and replaced the tiles after the new dishwasher was delivered and installed. He did exactly what he promised and more. Good handyman is hard to find, but Adam is one of the best!

Adam Sztyber (owner) is the best experience I've had with any contractor in years! I can't say enough good things about him. I needed the work done on very short notice and Adam kindly worked me into his schedule. He and his worker John showed up on time (even a little early... which is rare!), got right to work and worked hard and steady throughout the day. Adam is very knowledgeable and experienced in his trade. He also goes above and beyond expectations. Adam is personable, easy to work with, professional and responsive. His job cost was very reasonable. After getting a handful of estimates (some from other Angie's List companies), he was by far the best man for the job, based on price and experience. I definitely will be using Adam's services again for additional projects in the near future. A+ work in all aspects!

Adam promised to arrive at 8:15 AM and He arrived at 8:15...That was a good start! He had all the materials that was needed to make the necessary repairs. It was obvious that he knew what he was doing. Very knowledgeable!!

I've used him 3 times and I recommended him to my neighbors and everybody raves about him. His price is really reasonable. He just does excellent work. He's easy to schedule. On the dry rotten wood, he'll just take out as little as necessary until he finds solid wood. If they had to run a 10-foot long wood, they had to replace 10 feet, prime it and then paint it. He does what's necessary and he'll do the whole 10 feet if you want. So he did save me a lot of money in that regard. This is a large house and some of these lengths of wood he could have replaced hundreds of board feet and charge me for it if he wasn't so honest and prudent. If you don't mind having a seam and he cuts that seam, you can;t even see it.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. They put up two pieces of the crown molding and it took them about longer than one day to do the job. It was okay, but when he came out to give us an estimate he underestimated the amount of time it would take him so we wound up paying him several hundred dollars more than the price of the Big Deal. The work was fine but it ended up being almost double the Big Deal price.

Adam worked at my house for about a week or so. From the very beginning he gave me a pretty accurate estimate for the work to be done. The replacement of the carpeted stairs with wooden stairs is a big project, but he worked diligently and finished the work in a timely manner. During this time, he also worked on some handyman jobs at my house. I am very happy with the work he had done for me.
