Excellent service from start to finish! We wanted to remove the standard fireplace surround (marble with wood mantle) and basically stone the fireplace from the floor to the ceiling, while concealing the existing media niche and allowing for a plasma tv to be hung over the fireplace. Curtis met us to give an estimate and was very courteous and professional. Their quote was much less than we received from general contractors in the area. They were very flexible and arrived quickly after the quote to do the work. His crew removed the old existing mantle & surround and covered over the existing media "niche" in the wall above the fireplace. They installed a stacked stone surround from floor to ceiling & installed a stone mantle. They also worked with our audio/video installer to place a mounting area for a plasma TV. They cleaned up well after the work was finished, and the final invoice matched the quoted price. The finished project is perfect. My wife and I would recommend Stonemaster to anyone looking to add a stone fireplace to their home.
