Very poorly

Kam was recommended by the structural engineer who evaluated our home as the "only person we recommend to do this work." Kam proved to be warm, professional, and a man of his word. The job ended up being more involved than he anticipated, but he stuck to the estimate he gave me. His crew stayed past sundown both days to make sure everything was done properly. We have more work to do and will definitely be calling Kam again.

I would say that the man himself did an ok job. However, it is nothing to rave about. I was not very happy with his crew at all. I mean at least I am not 100% happy with it. The man has not really done too much of the work himself, I basically have. I should not say him, it really was not him, it was his crew that disappointed me. I was not very delighted to have them around. I ended up doing lots of the work myself. I am really not sure if I would call him back again, maybe if I absolutely needed to. Also, I am unsure of a final price for this job.

A few years ago we had a room built with some piers under it. My son is an inspector and recently he went under there and noticed that they needed to be replaced. I talked to a friend and they had recommended this company to me. Canvas Snyder was the guy's name. He was just great. It did not take long for him to complete the job and he was very nice too. He did exceptionally great work as well. So far there is not a single thing wrong with anything. The nice thing about this is I was given a quote of $2,495 and when the job was complete he felt it should have been less so I was only charged $2,200. I think that in itself speaks very well for them.

I was very happy with the work. I think they did a good job securing our home. We no longer have a problem with rot or moldy support beams. They used steel so our home, I feel is more secure and I don't think it will rot like wood. I felt they were all skilled to do this type of job.

I knew what I was getting when I bought the house. Luckily, they were able to easily solve my problem. The house is fine now. I have no issues with sagging or weak beams. I think they knew exactly what to do from the engineering report. I believe I paid $5,000 for the whole thing, which I think is really a fair price. It was something I had to have done.

They did a great job. I was happy with the service. They were timely in getting the job done and they stayed within budget. They were a professional company and kept me updated on the progress. I would recommend them to others.

Steele Creek did a fabulous home on the addition to our home. Our home is perfect for all our needs now. The workers were great to deal with. They were professional and friendly. They took the time to address any concerns or questions that I had.

Professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Offered great ideas and worked well with other contractors. Flexable. Good, reasonable pricing. Clean up after themselves.

Kam was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The piers were installed exactly as requested. His workers even went back and replaced some nails installed originally that were the wrong type. After the work was done, my husband and I inspected it and found a few nails that weren't replaced with the correct type. Kam came back out and did the work himself in a timely manner. The work area was left in a neat manner.

THESE GUYS WERE THE VERY BEST. THEY WORKED AT OUR HOUSE FOR 6 WEEKS, SEPT TO OCT. 2004, AND WERE CONSISTENTLY PROFESSIONAL. THIS WAS A MAJOR PROJECT, BUT THEY WERE ALSO WILLING AND ABLE TO DO ALL THE SMALL HANDYMAN TYPE ITEMS AS WELL. MELVIN AND KAM AND THEIR CREW WERE THE BEST OF THE BEST. I HAVE NEVER WORKED WITH CONTRACTORS THAT TAKE THIS MUCH PRIDE IN THEIR WORK. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANY HOME RELATED JOB. I HAVE EVEN SINCE USED THEIR ELECTRICIAN FOR HOT TUB REPAIRS.
