He presented me with a very fair quote for both my personal home aswell as for one of my personal residence. Mason and his crew did an outstanding job on the install and the clean up. Standard Insulating helped us with our above the garage bonus room. This room was always extremely hot in the summer. The radiant barrier in our attic space has made a significant improvement along with the added attic zipper cover for our attic stair opening. Mark was very thorough and answered all of my questions. I contacted three of the companies to obtain a quote for the vapor barrier replacement. After meeting and speaking with representatives of the three companies, I decided on using Standard Insulating to do the job. This decision was based on the thorough inspection and review that their salesperson, Marc Conklin, provided. Marc also exhibited a great deal of patience and responsiveness to the the questions that I asked. He took pictures of the crawl space and explained what would be done. He also provided a reasonable and competitive price to do the work. Once I agreed to their proposal and price, we scheduled a date for the installation. On June 2, the installer, Mason, came out with an assistant to do the work. Mason and his assistant were on time and very professional. They completed the work within two hours, and I was totally pleased. Mason took photos of the completed work and text them to me. I also went into the crawl space to see the completed work. From the beginning of the inspection process by Marc, to the final install by Mason and his assistant, I have been pleased with the work of the Standard Insulating Company. In fact, I am considering asking them to provide a proposal to replace some of the attic insulation.

Marc Conklin was very prompt and called me 30 minutes before arriving at my house just like I asked him to do. Took a look at my house insulation and told me within minutes of what needed to be done to give us the best insulating R factor in our attic. Quote was done professionally and quickly. Marc was able to answer any questions I had and explain to me in detail what his company would be doing from start to finish. I decided to go with Standard Insulating because of the professionalism he displayed. Marc’s guys came in exactly like he said and they too were very professionally oriented. Once I accepted the quote I was scheduled for service in less than and week. The team who came to work were on time, polite and very professional. They worked quickly and the end result was top notch. When the work was done they left the house probably cleaner than when they started. Its hard to get excited about insulating your attic but the team @Standard Insulating Company were great. They did an excellent job of reinsulating and worked with us to schedule a time that was convenient for us. The team was also very professional and efficient when they did the job. Immediate response! I simply sent them the crawl space square footage with photos and was sent a quote the next day which I could accept online. Once done, I was contacted for next day service. Wow! On point, with quick response and turn times at a fraction of the cost of other competitive quotes. I’ve already contacted again to upgrade my attic insulation!

I received quotes from 3 companies and this was by far the cheapest. They use Owens Corning which boosted my confidence and the have a partnership with Duke Energy. The installers were professional and respectful of my property. I am very pleased.

The guys showed up on time and ready to work. I thought it was going to take a lot longer than it did, but was really less than 2 hours. They laid plastic up to the attic entrance and went right to work. Could feel a difference in the house that same day. Not the cheapest, but on this I think you get what you pay for. They even made sure I was happy with everything before they left.

Everything went well. The job was done professionally. They added an attic stairway insulation cover too. My only complaint was they took down old insulation on a walk through door. They didn't take it to the edge and staples were sticking out all over. I plan on fixing it. There are pictures below of the job they did and the door issue.

sales team was extremely courteous and professional - recommended a lower cost fix for our crawl space insulation. Price came in mid-range of all quotes we received. There was a bit of a lack of communication between the sales team and installation team regarding how much attic space we were going to leave without insulation for storage - luckily, I kept the original schematic that the sales team created with the space that would be left for storage.

This was a positive experience from start to finish. Sales representative David Engler was punctual, courteous and professional. After his inspection he made recommendations, with zero hard sell. I pretty much knew what I wanted done beforehand and he confirmed that which was needed and nothing more. The price was not the lowest among the three quotes I received, but I was impressed with their reviews and professionalism. Technicians Martin and Joaquin arrived as scheduled and got right to work removing the old insulation and vapor barrier. They took pictures both before and after. When they called me to tell me the job was completed, I went down into the crawlspace to check it out. Once again I was impressed with the neatness and thoroughness of their work. Their cleanup and debris removal was impeccable. Needless to say I recommend Standard Insulating.

They arrived 2 hours earlier than scheduled time. That was fine. The installers were in and out. Job well done. But we did have a little trouble getting our rebate. Whether it was the insulators or Duke Power fault we don't really know but we finally did get a $250.00 gift card.

Duke Energy listed this firm on it's website as a go to for an energy efficiency audit. ...pleased with the information I learned from Marc during the audit, I secured their service to install insulation in the attic, crawl space, interior walls, and punctured drywall to blow insulation into exterior walls. Best investment, outstanding professionalism, and top-notch customer service. Paulo made magic happen --- twice --- to get this job done and done on schedule. I was beyond happy! Now utility bills are more than 2/3 less than before.

The entire process was a pleasure which is usually hard to say when dealing with a contractor. The installers were very professional and did a great job of cleaning up after themselves and leaving my home as clean or cleaner than when they arrived. I highly recommend!!
