Squeegee Man Window & Gutter Cleaning

Jeff has cleaned our gutters twice & washed windows once in the past. A discount looked great. His charge for gutters previously was $120. I bought the coupon & he emailed me that based on an incorrect figure he found somewhere of our house's square footage, there would be a $75 surcharge. I answered that we should forget it in that case; our house is not that large & $175 for a job for which he previously asked $120 wasn't much of a discount. He surprised me by becoming very unpleasant. Argued about the sq. footage, about whether I read the small print in the offer, etc. Cranky reply when I said he should check his records to see what I paid him in the past. All this in with his caps lock on, which he doesn't seem to know is like shouting, lol. According to his "small print" & the real sq. footage of our house, we would pay $150 -- I have no objection to rising prices; costs go up for everyone. But don't call it a discount. I found his unpleasantness both surprising and upsetting when he did good & cheerful work for us before. Feel free to look at our correspondence through your site. He has lost a customer. And I will read all discount offers on Angie's List carefully.

Wonderful! After my on line purchase of the special, I was sent an email noting that my house would require an extra $25 upcharge due to square footage. No problem...this was clearly stated in the ad and I expected it. I gave him the extra $25 check when he arrived. After the work was finished, he gave it back to me. Said the job was so easy....he didn't feel right taking my extra money!!!

I called Jeff to get the gutters cleaned on our 2 story house. He answered the phone immediately and had an appointment set up within a few days. I had priced the job with a large local handyman service and they wanted $350.00. Jeff did the job for $125.00. I was not required to be at my home during the time of service and he left the bill in the mailbox for me. He made the process relative quick and painless. I will probably be using him again in the future and would recommend him to anyone needing basic gutter cleaning or window cleaning services.

1. A crew of four (4) men arrived on time and finished the job in one (1) hour. 2. As the name indicates, they squeegee the windows (no pressure washing) which I highly recommend to avoid breaking the seals on thermopane windows.

It was a pretty easy transaction. The gutters hadn't been cleaned at my new house in a very long time. They came in and took care of it. Good value for the money for sure.

Wow, first off, they came out rather unexpected, but that's not a bad thing! I might have told them that they didn't have to schedule it ahead of time, I don't remember as I had 3 other service providers (A/C, roof, and septic tank) coming to my home that week already! They must have done a great job because the roof guys came the next day for a different service call and happened to mention that the gutters were cleaned out. Works for me because otherwise I'd never know if they were REALLY cleaned out WELL since I am handi-capped and can't get on a ladder. Unfortunately, I didn't read the fine print and I got stuck with an extra $50 surcharge for the house being slightly larger in square feet than the Angie's List Big Deal stated in the fine print. My bad for not reading it all that well. But, price-wise, there are other gutter cleaning providers out there that would have done my house without the extra $50 surcharge because they are cheaper. Just wish I had picked them instead. I would use these guys again, but instead, I will simply just select the best priced gutter cleaning provider out there with the best deal for my sized house next time when I need the gutters cleaned. Just check the fine print folks and compare prices based on the fine print of how many square-feet they will do before charging additional surcharges! (To be fair though, they did notify me of the surcharge ahead of time, but what could I do, I already pre-paid through Angie's List. Not like I could have gotten a refund. Bummer.) Thanks, Heather

Job went very well. Took a total of about 2.5 hours, and the place looked great when done. I will have them back again.

I was away during the cleaning. When I returned home, the gutters looked clean. One of my plastic shutters was laying in a bush. Not sure if it was weather related or if the guys knocked it off with a ladder since I was away, but at least the gutters are clean. I was upcharged $100 due to the size of my home, but that was made clear to me before I purchased the $99 deal, so I think that was fair. Have a handyman come to reattach the shutter.

They did an excellent job, the price was good. They were good and they were courteous, they did a great job.

Jeff and his crew are always prompt and professional. We have used his service several times a yr for the past few yrs. He also cleans out our gutters. We have many windows on our 2 story home, so when you look at that price, remember that. We feel his prices are reasonable for the work completed and are always happy with the job done.

Jeff came out and gave me a free estimate. Quite Frankly I told him it was too low for the size of my home and the scope of the work that needed to be done. I hadn't had the gutters cleaned for 5 years (stupidity). I told Jeff that I would be willing to compensate him extra for getting the job done. Jeff told me that extra compensation wouldn't be necessary. He sent a crew of 4 men out to my home. They were very professional and were careful of all landscaping. They got the complete job done in about 2.5 hours. Amazing Performance!

Subsequent to purchasing this Big Deal, I had my roof scheduled to be replaced and cleaning out the gutters after the roof was completed was a standard service provided by the roofing company. Jeff was originally scheduled to come out to clean my gutters last Thursday, 4/17 and he kindly rescheduled the appointment for Tuesday, 4/22 to coincide with the completion of the new roof. It wasn't until today when the roofers came out to finish up that I found out that they took care of the gutters as part of the overall job. Jeff was very understanding when I called him this morning and told me to contact Angie's List for a refund. I will certainly keep Jeff in mind for the next time I need the gutters done. He was very prompt in arranging the original appointment, as well as flexible with changes.

He messaged me right away the afternoon I bought the deal and let me know he didn't service this area.

Jeff was courteous and did a great job on both jobs - cleaning the gutters and pressure washing the entire house. We were considering painting the exterior of the house, but it looks so nice after his work, that we will postpone that for a year or so. We were very pleased with his work.
