+ -1 moreWe renewed the contract. However, shortly after doing so, we sold our house and are moving out of state. I have called the office 4 times. 3 times I spoke with a lady explaining our situation ( we signed an annual contract in April, 2021, but we would be moving in June.) I cancelled our contract in June. My question was whether or not we would be getting a refund for the months we would no longer be living here. Eveytime the lady said she would have her mgr. call me. He never has. The third call (of four calls), I had to leave a voice msg. Again I went into detail of our situation. The last time I spoke with the lady was earlier this week (July 5 or 6). I told her the manager needed to call me and , again, why. I said I was very dissatisfied with his lack to response, and that I would take to social media and the BBB to inform others of my experience with them. I still have not heard anything from the mgr. I believe he owes us money for the 10 months, out of the 12 month contract, we will no longer be owners of this house.
Description of Work: Temite treatment and contract to inspect.

Description of Work: A termite exploratory tunnel was found at my home recently during a termite inspection by the buyers termite inspection company. There was no evidence of any wood damage. I have had annual inspections during the last 15 yrs. There was no charge for the service due to my long time doing business with the company . The company treated the entire home to be certain no termites remained on the property. This is a first class service provider.

+ -1 moreTim arrived on time, rang the doorbell, explained what he was going to do, then when done he rang the doorbell and explained the results.
Description of Work: Tim performed our annual termite inspection. He is always polite, prompt and thorough. He examined the outside of the house, the garage and the crawl space.

+ -1 moreWe simply have no issues with Southeastern. They provide the service advertised at a price that easily beats competition. They are always friendly, on time, and effective.
Description of Work: We have used Southeastern for pest control for 17 of the last 20 years. The service we currently use is their quarterly visits and interior/exterior treatments. The cost is approximately $80 per visit. If there are pest (ant, centipede, roach, etc) issues between scheduled visits, they return as many times as necessary at no additional cost. Our current technician (Lee Wehmeyer) has been with us for 5 years. He is always on time and does a thorough job. From 1991 through 2002 we used the Southeastern monthly service with another technician. The service was consistently excellent. When he left the company in late 2002, Southeastern did not furnish a replacement option - an oversight on their part. We then used the Orkin bimonthly pest control service for 3 years. The cost was more than double Southeastern and the service was totally ineffective at controlling pests. Orkin also returned when called at no additional costs. Unfortunately, the return calls by Orkin were totally ineffective. After 3 years of frustration with Orkin we returned to Southeastern. We will keep the Southeastern service in the future. Our house has a crawl space and we have lots of shrubs near the foundation, so we are destined to have occasional issues with pests, especially ants and centipedes.

+ -1 moreIf we need them in between the treatment, they come out and do the work for example we had a squirrel in the fireplace, we called them and they came out the next day. Similarly we have used them when we had the white nest and the yellow jacket nest and we couldn't remove them. They have the same technician coming out every month so it's good. Their prices are cheaper than lot of other places.

+ -1 moreThey are always very prompt in both showing up on time and calling if they are running late. They have very reasonable prices. The gentleman are very friendly and courteous. They always send out the same guy and he is always consistent in showing up at the same time and doing the same routine each time.

+ -1 moreJOE GAITHER, JR. CALLED WHEN HIS RECEPTIONIST SAID HE WOULD CALL. HE SHOWED UP WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. I ASKED 1,001 QUESTIONS ABOUT TERMITES and OTHER PESTS - HE WAS QUITE HAPPY TO EDUCATE ME. THE INSPECTION WAS FREE.
Description of Work: FREE TERMITE INSPECTION. HE RECOMMENDED I JUST CALL THEM BACK EVERY YEAR OR SO FOR ADDITIONAL FREE INSPECTIONS. THEY'RE NOT AS BUSY IN THE WINTER -CALL THEM THEN.
