It turned out very well. They were very prompt. It was great service. They were given specific directions and they followed those. They were very nice to deal with and I would definitely use them again.They were quick to deliver it; it was the next day so they were very fast.

I went to their building supplies depot and ordered 500 lbs of 5-8 " river rock to build a natural wall around part of my landscaping. In addition to the rock and delivery charges, I opted to purchase a material bag and pay an additional charge to have the rocks delivered on a flat bed truck, or the 500 lbs of rock would have been dumped on my driveway possibly causing major damage. The delivery went without a hitch and most of the rock was what I ordered. However, as I reached the bottom of the bag, I discovered about two wheel barrel's worth of 1-2" stones. Since I had no way of weighing the total delivery, I have no idea of whether the stones were part of the 500 lbs or in addition to it. But, I have to believe it was the former. I did place a call to Blue Max to tell them of the issue, but never received a response.

The mulch was of high quality. They were right on-time as promised and I found them to be quite professional.

We had the trucks delivered on seperate days and while we requested that they be delivered early in the morning, the second day they did not deliver until 10:30 or so. Overall the price/quality was good and we would use them again.

The stone they picked out for us to compliment our house is beautiful. All the salespeople were so helpful and knowledgagle about all the products that are sold at Blue Max. We needed the stone quickly and that was not a problem. Blue Max delivered it the next day, stacked it neatly and we were ready to do our project. They have a huge selection of not only stone, but also pavers, riverstone and mulch. We are starting a spring project for our landscaping and will be buying our mulch from Blue Max. We also found our contractor from a referral from Blue Max and he is excellent!

The Indian Trail location was able to respond the same day to deliver fill dirt. Other providers had a wait time up to 3 weeks. Blue Max could not deliver the first time I called due to recent rain making it impossible to work with fill dirt. However, when I called after only a couple days of dry weather they responded, even though it was late in the day when I called. The delivery driver worked around a tree in my yard to put the dirt where I wanted. At first he phoned me (I was at home depot while my kids took the delivery) to see if we could remove an overhanging limb, but then he came up with an idea to allow my boys to push the limb out of the way. He was able to protect his truck and spare our tree limb at the same time; good work! I overbought and I'm hoping they'll come back and remove the overage. Thanks so much Blue Max!!!

The contractor was easy to get in touch with and very quick to schedule the delivery. The driver dropped the stone while I was not at home and as instructed dropped the stone in various sections of the driveway to make it easier for me to spread. I will certainly use the contractor again and have recommended them to friends.

They came out when they said they would. They are quite prompt.

Their pricing is solid, they show up on time, and their materials are what they promise.

With the two separate deliveries, both drivers did all they could to spread the gravel and rocks so our work afterward would be minimal. Very happy with all aspects of this project; would highly recommend their services.

They have all kinds of rock that's manufactured and natural. Their prices are great, and they have an amazing collection of products! They have everything such as hardscaping for yard, edging stuff, all kinds of rock, and beautiful pictures of projects they have done. It's a great resource, and their prices are excellent! They are incredibly helpful when you walk in the store. They are really good to talk to. If you have any questions, they'll help you out with what you need.

Called up to order as I do annually. Order was in my driveway the next day.

The representative(Rita?) could not have been more helpful. We spoke several times during the day and she was able to coordinate the delivery with the other worker who was not fluent in english. The topsoil was of good quality and the price was also reasonable. The outside worker did a very good job and the area has now been reseeded and sprouting grass. Can't say enough about the Blue Max rep. She was just great and I'll soon be calling her to arrange for a truckload of mulch.

Overall things went very well. The person who took my order over the phone helped me determine how much much I would need to cover the area I had. I was surprised that they were able to deliver two hours after my order. The delivery person called me when he was on his way. Showed up exactly on time. I had laid out a tarp on the end of my driveway to help with cleanup after the mulch had been spread in the natural areas in my yard. He did a great job dumping the mulch exactly where I needed it. Very friendly and professional. The mulch (hardwood double hammer) was very high quality. I did find some smaller rocks in some of the mulch - presumably left over from a previous delivery. Not a big deal but it was there. Overall very good job delivering a high quality product.

All three pallets were delivered as scheduled. They were even willing to drive the stone to the backyard to make it easier to work with. I would order from again in the future.

They are a large company and they have a lot of variety and their prices are good. Their price gets a B+. It's competitive but it could be better.

I needed a truckload of dirt for a raised flower bed... 16 tons is a _lot_ of dirt but I was quite surprised that I needed it all. Blue Max sells a few different blends of dirt and their web site easily explains what each is intended for and how to estimate how much you need. I wanted the 'Garden Max' blend. I gave them a call and they answered I think on the second ring. Scheduling was a breeze. Because of the weather, however, I rescheduled twice and both time Blue Max's response was 'that's not a problem.' The delivery driver was quite a pleasant fellow and knew what he was doing. He dumped the dirt as close to the flower bed as we could safely get the truck. A couple days later, I received a call from Blue Max asking if I was satisfied with the delivery. That follow-up was quite different from the level of service I'm used to. I've already recommended Blue Max to a complete stranger who I overheard talking about needing fill dirt, and I will continue to do so.

I like that they could deliver right away after I called them. I would absolutely use them again.

I called them to get a quote for gravel to fill in my back patio. They were able to do this easily with me providing them with the measurements. The person I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and helpful. They delivered a ton and a half of gravel on time. It was exactly what I expected. The guy who delivered was polite.

Overall it went mostly well. I have not yet used the dirt, so I don't know the quality of it until my plants grow in it. I gave directions for where to dump the product. The driver, unfortunately, interpreted the directions in a way I did not intend. I wanted the driver to dump the dirt on the dirt or weeds on the lot next door to my lot. Instead, the driver dumped it on the road surface in front of that lot. It caused the post office to have to back up to leave my mail box, in order to get around the pile of dirt. It may cause the dirt to wash away faster than it would if the dirt had been dumped where I wanted it. The company is very responsive, punctual and communicative. When I reported the problem, Eric handled it quickly and professionally. I asked them to move the pile of dirt. The bobcat operator was not available for at least 2 weeks. Therefore Eric offered to refund my money for the purchase, which, in the end, I accepted. So I paid zero, after all was said and done.

They are fine. We call them, they bring stuff out, and we pay them. We tell them what we need, they give us a price, and the prices are pretty reasonable. They bring the stuff out as they promise.

We were very pleased wth the paver stones that we chose and purchased. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ended up going with another alternative rubber pavers from another store and had to return the paver stones we purchased from Bluemax. They accepted the returned stones no problem and we were issued a refund. Would definitely use their company again for future hardscaping supplies!
