Steve and his crew are great. They show up on time each day, clean up well, keep customers informed throughout and do exactly what they say they will do. I have no concerns leaving Steve and his crew in my home alone to do work when I'm not there. They lock up each day and make sure everything is where it should be. Throughout all of the painting, they made sure we could use our master bed and bath each night. Although they stored materials in our garage, they made sure we could both park our cars. Their painting work is beyond excellent. I have recommended Steve and his crew to many other people and will continue to do so. They are my go-to painters whether it's to do cabinet work or just walls. In fact, when I sold my last house (Steve painted all cabinets in the kitchen, laundry and every bathroom), both my real estate agent and the buyer's agent wanted his phone number - they said you can typically tell when cabinets have been painted.....but not with our cabinets...that's how well they were done. Go with Steve and his crew - you can't go wrong.

SS&C is the best. Steve and his crew truly take care of our home as if it's their own. He painted our home 12 years ago when we first moved in, and in that time we have marveled at his high quality work. We have yet to spot a drip mark after 12 years! So when we needed to repaint virtually our entire interior after a flood, we went straight to Steve. Steve saved our insurance company a bundle of money by repainting our kitchen cabinets - setting up a spray booth on site - instead of a full replacement as prescribed by the insurer. We decided to go with a new paint scheme as we renovated - a subtle change from cream to white which involved repainting our plantation shutters - truly looks like a factory finish. Great quality, great service, neat and immaculately clean, on time, comes when promised and stays until the job is done.

Steve is really great to work with. He and his crew show up on time every day, do great work, clean up the work site each day by consolidating all the supplies out of your way. Steve is the owner, but he shows up to make sure you understand everything and are happy, etc. He even gave me a great paint store to go to for help with color selection and sure enough the lady he recommended there was a great help and the colors turned out just perfect. We will be calling him back soon to paint some more rooms in our new house!

I received several quotes for the job. Steve's quote was very reasonable. I checked 4 references ahead of time; all gave him stellar reviews. He routinely does work for high end kitchen remodels. Steve is very professional and keeps lines of communication very open. He completed the job in the estimated time frame. There were no extra or unforseen costs - the final bill came in at the original estimate. Steve took care of getting all materials for the job - I didn't have to do anything. The work was done extremely well - I'm very pleased with the finished product. Our 20 year old kitchen cabinets look brand new. With the painted cabinets and walls painted, it looks like we have a brand new kitchen - for just a few thousand dollars. Although he had to do sanding and was doing work in most of the major rooms we live in, he did a very good job containing the dust and dirt. He cleaned up very well. So although we could not easily cook in our kitchen for about 5 days, it was very easy for us to stay in the house. I gave Steve a key to come and go each day since my husband and I both work. I felt very comfortable with Steve and his crew in our house when we weren't here. Steve is on site each and every day, so there is no concern that he is sending a crew out with little to no supervision. None of our belongings were disturbed - everything was in its place when they finished up. I will definitely use Steve again. I'm already planning to have him come back to paint and freshen up more moulding in our house. I have already referred him to my mother and several friends. He will be my and quot;go toand quot; painter from now on.

Steve and his crew were professional, on time and priced great for the quality of service they provided. We have used Schmitt Painting on numerous jobs and think his professional job and knowledge of products, and applications is as good as it gets. I may price my next job with others just to make sure we are competitive but will probably defer to Steve since he stands by all the work he does.

Excellent. These are not only fine painters, but fine men. The kind of men I would hope my son would grow up to be. I was very comfortable with them around my children, and comfortable leaving them alone in the house. There work displays great talent and caring, with great attention to detail.

He was there on time and explained the process. It only took a few days because of the dry time. He was punctual and professional and completed the project very quickly.

Stephen and his crew painted our kitchen, family room and guest suite. He took our color requests, got the paint and did a great job. While we found some small 'touch up' areas after the fact, Stephen came back and fixed them with no problems. Great job and we'll hire him again to do the rest of the house.
