Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

It went fine. I had already replaced the guts of the old sink and the plumber told me that the sink was just old and worn out and the best bet was to replace the sink. Note: the sink was 15 years old and the guy at Lowes had told me the same thing, but I wanted to try replacing the cartridges to see if that would work-- it didn't. The plumber told me what to buy at the hardware store and so I went and bought it myself (he could've gone and picked it up, but it was cheaper for me to do it myself). He then changed out the faucet, supply lines and valves in about 30 minutes. His cost (not including the hardware that I paid for myself) was $250. I consider that reasonable for his services. That sink is now fixed and I won't have to worry about it again.

Quick service, decent prices.They were attentive to the plumbing issues and worked quickly to resolve those issues. Would recommend them.

Called Roto Rooter and they sent someone immediately. The service tech was polite, professional and efficient. He did his work quickly and cleaned up. He also gave me tips on keeping the drain running freely. Great company!

Had another plumbing company look at the issue and was not given an answer. Toilets overflowed on weekend and needed immediate servicing. Roto-rooter came out and diagnosed and solved the problem (tree roots in a cracked pipe). Roots treated and clog taken care of. Estimate for future complete resolution of problem given as well.

It went very well. I called at 7 AM and they came out at 8:30 AM. They were very fast and professional and knowledgeable. They got the work done with no problems and did a better job then the people that did it the last time. Apparently the other people used bolts that were too small which allowed the seat to come loose which allowed air to dry out the wax ring. I was very happy with the work that Roto Rooter did.

He showed up on time and fixed the problem but charged $160 for 5 mins of work and no parts. Won't be using them again.

Had an emergency plumbing repair needed on a Sunday afternoon- They came out with no extra weekend charge and fixed my issue. Highly recommend.

They were okay but expensive. He came and fixed the toilet but then there was a piece he pulled up and it broke. The workers were nice.

The technician providing service was Eddie - he is the best! I've had two residential plumbing issues and Eddie serviced both. He takes the time to explain what he is going to do and the details of the outcome. Roto Rooter provides excellent service value.

We were getting ready for a house full of guests for Thanksgiving. In preparation, I had a whole house plumbing checkup - showers, tubs, toilets and sinks. The plumber came on time, was very professional, and gave me options and prices. We agreed on a whole house project, and I was very satisfied. I would ask for him by name again.

Not good. First of all he said that Angie's list was a crock and he did not want to use the deal that I had purchased. I purchased the $25.00 for $75.00 worth of work. He talked with his company and he did let me use it but he charge me $215.00. I paid the $25.00 he took off $75.00 . The total cost was $290.00. I think that was way to much just to change out a kitchen faucet. I had to have him change the faucet because he put it on wrong with the on and off lever on the left side. He said whoever put it on was wrong but they were not and he did change it. Then he did not have it tighten down when he went out to write up the bill and the faucet was sideways and I had to ask him to fix it. Do not use this deal. Think he just thought he could get away with it since I am a widow. I am sure Router Rooter have better employees but this one was horrible. If you are in the Gastonia, NC area do NOT use this deal.

Sergey (7775) responded quickly and opened a clogged, backed-up main sewer drain line. He then recommended the use of a camera and other equipment (had available on his truck) to locate and determine the cause of the clog which was a fractured pipe. We agreed that the line had to be dug up and the fractured line be repaired. He returned a short while later with Vassily and the two of them dug by hand which saved me $700 in back-hoe expenses. They were able to repair the fractured section of pipe in short order, and we were up and running.

Dan Pinkerton came out to our house to fix our water leak when everyone else wouldn't come out until Monday. He was very professional and knew exactly what to do to find the leaking pipe in our front yard. He saved me from a very nerve wrecking weekend worrying about how much our water bill was going to be. I will highly recommend him to anyone having plumbing problems. He will be the only plumber I call from now on.

They came out on short notice. I called Friday afternoon around 3 pm and they came out Saturday morning. The guy was very nice. It took about 4 hours. He explained everything well. He had to turn the water off, but turned it on so we could shower. There is a year's warranty on the work. He also gave us advice on how to prevent in the future.

Everything went well. It was a last minute appointment so I appreciate their availability to do the job. Employee was professional, and arrived in a timely fashion. Price was crazy but I needed it done, that's why I wouldn't use them again. It was just too expensive.

The very professional and helpful plumbing technician arrived very quickly following my call to Roto-Rooter. He analyzed the problem and realized it was not just the one toilet that was clogged, but the whole sewer line. To save bringing his equipment into our home, he determined to attempt clearing the clog from the clean-out plug. Fortunately, this procedure was successful. The technician also reminded me that I could purchase a deal through Angie's List that would save us a lot of money. I did purchase a $250 coupon for $79 which reduced the $334 charge to $84. All of this was a real Christmas miracle.

They did a good job. They charged me about 50% more than what a local plumber would have charged but they answered the phone on a weekend and did the job.

Gavin was very good. He assessed the problem right away(and gave me a couple of options). He had to go get parts, but returned promptly. He was quick and we were happy with the work. It was kind of expensive, but that is to be expected for a good plumber.

I will not use them again because I thought they were too expensive. We had a little clog in a drain in the yard and it was over 300$ and the guy was there for probably 30minutes and that was outrageous. I would likely do some research and go with someone else.

James provided initial free phone support but after realizing problem was more involved, reconnected with James. James' call response was very quick and after appointment was made arrived less than 30 minutes later. Resolved problem at a fair price.

Tom the tech showed up right on time after I was notified that he was on his way. He made quick work on the valve replacement. No issues at all since the install. Could not have been happier with his work.

He fixed the toilet for the cost of coming out here to look at it. It was a simple fix and he gave an estimate on replacing our 2nd toilet. He didn't talk to me like I was dumb. He came out here about 45 minutes after I called to schedule someone. Very professional!

They arrived on time, came the same day I called. Went to work unclogging the drain and gave us some advice to keep the problem from reoccurring.
