ROSE ROOFING

Larry did a fantastic job, I plan to have him come back out to install a roof fan. Talking around with others that have had similar work: for the materials and craftsmanship, I received an extremely fair deal. He does not rush the roof like I have seen others in the neighborhood doing. Larry takes pride in his work and because of that we now have a roof we can be proud of. I only wish Larry did more than just roofs since I will not need another for 30 years. We are very pleased.

Larry actually performed the work last fall. He did a great job as always! He completed a roof replacement for me a few years ago on another house and I had no hesitation to use him again for this one. He did an outstanding job, by himself, removing the old shingles and loading them onto a tarp on the ground, keeping everything clean. He applied the new sheeting and shingles in sections and did a great job of sealing around the chimney and vents. He finished the job on schedule, in less than a week, and the price was very reasonable.

He was on-time, did all the work that I requested and then proceeded to clean my gutters of leaves and other debris at no charge. He fixed a gutter problem that had been with the house since it was built 10 years ago. I gave him a $50 dollar tip over and above the $250 charge for the original work.

He did a good job and worked by himself. He was very easy to talk to and a great craftsman. This project took about one and half week for about 44 sqft. It was easy getting in touch with the company and setting the appointment. They gave me a quote and were okay with a bit of negotiation. Overall, this is just a good company to work with. He cleaned up everyday and kept the work site clean. He only tore off as much as he could put on at one time, so I never had to worry about the roof leaking.

Company has to much work to come out to Huntersville.

I called Larry about a leak in the roof of my house on Tuesday. He arrived the next day to work on my roof. It took about 40 minutes to do the repair and inspect the roof for additional problems, none were found. Larry was very professional and did not leave anything for me to pick up. I will be calling Larry again should I need some roof repair in the future.

I received a terse response on my voice mail that estimates were only provided on weekends and that I should "go elsewhere" with my business. I would have appreciated a chance to speak with the proprietor to make an appointment for an estimate during the weekend. I was not impressed with the customer services I received, or more accurately, didn't receive.

Larry is a one man business and does an excellent job. Out of three estimates he was the only one that said I could wait another year if I needed too. I choose to do it now and was glad I did after he got started. A couple of small areas may have been a problem if I had waited. There were 2 or 3 days when the weather appeared to be a problem. Unlike many roofing companies that go ahead and work he choose not to expose my house to bad weather even though he lost a day of work time. If you're looking for your roof to be replaced in a day or two then he is not the right one to hire. If you're looking for a professional job and excellent work. He is the right one to hire. It may take weeks for him to get to your job, but his work is definitely worth the wait. I was getting complements on the work before he finished.

We have used him before and would use him again! He is an excellent craftsman and he keeps his word. He really takes pride in his work.

Excellent work by Larry. He was on time and worked steadily for 4 to 5 days to replace our roof. He also found some rotten wood and replaced that. Larry works by himself so it takes a little longer but the work is exceptional and we have had no issues. Larry's price was significantly lower than 2 other bids and he took all the time I needed at the estimate to explain everything and things I need to consider in replacing the roof. I would highly recommend Larry for any roof replacement. He is a one man show so he could be busy for a few weeks before he can get to you. But it is worth the wait for the quality of his work. Clean up was very good each day before he left.

Larry is a hard worker and seems to take pride in his work. I was looking for someone who actually cared about workmanship and not how fast or how cheap the job could be done. Larry's estimates came in on the lower side (not the lowest) of several bids, but I liked the fact that he works alone and not just subbing out the jobs like most other companies. He said it would take 8 days and it took 8 days. I have already recommended him to several other folks. Anyone reading this, Hire Larry, he is a stand up guy.

I called Rose Roofing on a Monday and left a voicemail indicating I wanted to discuss some roof repairs and asked Larry to call me back (I left both daytime and evening phone numbers). After 3 days, still no word from Larry. Based on others' feedback, it sounds like Larry is a nice guy and does good work. But if you're looking for someone who is responsive (i.e. will return your call within 3 days), he's definitely not the person.

Great job. Came to give estimate on time, set a start and completion date and was right on the money. Very professional, quality workmanship. Left the property spotless. Works alone, so job takes longer. Worth the wait.

He was very good, helpful, and very willing to do whatever he needed to do. It was a pleasant experience. He was on time and his price was fair.

Larry Rose returned my call the same day regarding repair of leaking skylight on a Thursday---an appointment was set up for that Saturday---Larry was on time, very personable and spent a few hours repairing 3 skylights---he even removed each screw on the skylight frames and caulked around each before screwing them back in---he inspected the roof (which was almost 20 years old) and showed me cracks in the shingles that would likely lead to leaks in the coming months---we decided to replace the roof---Larry then sent us to a roofing supply company to pick out the shingle we wanted---he worked alone and did the job the following week---we were out of town that week and neighbors told us that Larry worked every day from early morning till just before dark---clean-up was excellent---the roof looks great---the skylights have withstood recent heavy rains without leaking---a number of neighbors have asked for his phone number---I would recommend Mr. Rose without hesitation.

Larry was very informative about the process and explained what had been done in the past so I understood what he was working with. I received a couple of other estimates and his was the most reasonable and also the best warranty (5 yrs on labor). He does all the work himself and started on a Saturday to help me out because I had a couple of leaks. He was very honest and upfront about the steps he needed to take.

Mr. Rose was timely and professional in finding leaks in our roof. He completed the job quickly and even offered to help do some gutter repair work.

Mr. Rose was very accommodating. He came at the appointed time, was very polite, had a very good attitude even though our work was a small repair job, and had the necessary materials with him after I tried to explain the problem over the phone. He pointed out some other areas that needed work. We knew he was correct because my husband had knowledge of the other problems and just hadn't gotten around to fixing them himself or hired someone to do the other repairs. Even though I really only wanted a written estimate to submit to my insurance carrier as this was a homeowners claim, his price seemed so reasonable that I checked with my husband by phone and he said to just go ahead and have Mr. Rose do the repair right then.

I was so very pleased with Rose Roofing! A++++ service! Mr. Rose came out on last minute notice, was absolutely on time, was friendly and very thorough. He gave me an estimate on site and explained everything I needed to know about the condition of our roof. I appreciated his help so much and highly, highly recommend his service!

They did not return my call. I will never call them again. I have an answering machine and they never left a message and I left him a message twice. My husband think sit is because it is a small job, which I mentioned on the message, and maybe they had bigger jobs to do. I do not know the reason.

I called for an estimate for a leaky roof. Mr. Rose called me back the same day. He was upfront, saying that because he's a one-man shop and he's pretty swamped, he probably didn't have time to come out and provide an estimate unless it was for a new roof job. I appreciated his 1) calling back promptly and 2) being honest with me.

Mr. Rose did the work quickly and for a reasonable price. He was timely.

I WOULD USE HIM AGAIN. HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY.
