Rite Rug

Do not use this company. They installed horrible flooring that immediately started peeling away on the edges. I’ve been working for months to have them replace it and they’ve transferred my claim FOUR TIMES. The first time they sent someone out to my house to take pictures and they have absolutely no record of it. I couldn’t communicate with anyone they sent to install my floor because no one spoke English. The floor was installed in the wrong direction the first time and they had to come back several times to fix problems from the installation. On one of the final days, the installers left the back door ajar and apparently rain damaged that one area. The other damages are in random spots, nowhere near a door or window. I have pictures, e-mails, texts, etc. throughout the entire encounter. The final stage was to have two more people come out to take photos (again). The last person pierced holes in my floor in three areas to check the humidity levels. Now they are denying my claim to repair or replace these boards (including the ones which now have holes) unless I pay for it. This entire experience has been a nightmare, lasting over a year. The least I can do at this point is hopefully deter someone else from going through what this company has done to me.

HORRIBLE -- from start to finish . They use low quality products and sell tham as top quality , installers seem to be untrained and just dont care . Had to have them replace part of the floor due to poor quality installation and still not satisfied with theri work . We are now just waiting until we are able to hire a high quality compny to replace the existing flooring. They leave glue and cracks everywhere , continually chip the product and dont pay attention to what they are doing. We had to have repairs to cabinetry which they also scratched up and knocked chips out of them .

I was told there's nothing else they can do.

The floor looked good at first, then 3/16" gaps started to appear, upon closer inspection stain was splashed on our cabinets and the floor also started cupping. We contacted rite rug and they brought in an independent inspector. The inspector stated that the floor was not given time to acclimate to the home and the sub floor had some issues (shrinkage). Rite Rug response was they keep the flooring in a controlled warehouse. I do not understand what that has to do with our home? I put nail down floors in our last home and I did not have problems with gaps. I do not complain against many companies so stay clear of this one.

My wife and I moved into our new Ryan home at the end of February. While family came by to help with moving tasks, many of the people noticed that the hardwood flooring in the kitchen was starting to splinter at the end of the boards, and that a few of the boards were lifting up from the sub-floor. We had not even been in our new house for 3 days and this was already happening. I have called our project manager/service provider several times for resolution and I keep getting put off for days at a time. As of the morning of 3/12/14, I am being told that it will be next Monday or Tuesday (3rd time delay) before the Rite Rug flooring representatives will have a chance to look at my floor in my brand new house. Having not lived in this new house for 2 weeks, and with exceptionally poor customer service, I am looking at hiring a separate hardwood flooring repair contractor to fix or replace this flooring.

Crew was on time and professional. Took far less time than I anticipated. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

This company installed the laminate flooring in my new home. Since May when i purchased the home they have been back NINE times to correct i mean try to correct their horrible installation. First they did not lay the flooring correctly, they did not let the flooring acclimate to the house, prior to taking possession of the house the flooring buckled up from humidity. The did not replace it they just chipped away at sides to get it to lay down. Since then they have been back and forth trying to get it fixed, trying to figure out why the flooring color is fading in spots. i set up a meeting between myself, the home builder (Ryan homes) Rite Rug installation manager and the flooring distributor, interesting to say Rite Rug did not show up for the meeting he text the rep from the distributor and said he had an emergency at another house, when they tried calling him he did not answer the phone. All i want is my flooring fixed i paid a lot of extra money for this flooring and feel robbed.

It went pretty smooth,because I had already taken the old carpet and padding up, smooth out the ruff spots on the floor. All they had to do was put the padding and carpet down. My problem was we picked out the carpet we wanted and about a week later the salesman call and needs to come and show us some new samples because they didn't make the original choice. Shouldn't they have known that when we ordered the original sample.

It went just like he said it would. We had granite going in the next day and they did the kitchen first, just incase they had to come back the next day to work on floors. The carpet they pulled up was horrible and the padding glued to the floor, which they had to work hours scrapping and cleaning to get up the glue and chunks of padding that was stuck to the floor. All was swept up and we know prepared correctly for install of the new floors. The furniture had pieces of the carpet put under it to move it around easily to install the hardwoods. We really liked that. They put all the furniture back where we needed it and cleaned up everything after themselves. Even when they were working cutting the boards outside they were clean. We love, love, love the new floors and appreciate the customer focus we were given by Mark on any questions we had. He really cared from start to finish. We are so glad to find someone we can work with, since we are new to the area and didn't have contacts. We hope to be able to do our bathrooms with him next.
