Dave arrived promptly at 8am, quickly looked at my list and the repairs. A few supplies were needed so he went to the store- took him maybe 10 minutes to go to the store and back- clearly efficient. Then he just got to work and did a good job of everything- I don't think he spent a minute not working. Made it through the whole list, cleaned up, was courteous, told me exactly what he had done. I can't believe he finished all the tasks in 4 hours. But he did.

Daniel McKee did an excellent job. He called to say he would be a few minutes late then arrived ahead of schedule. He was knowledgeable about the repairs. Very courteous. I would definitely use them again.

Daniel came on time & answered all my questions before proceeding. He was courteous & efficient. He's work was excellent. It matched all the other window moldings & he cleaned up all the mess afterwards. The only thing that kind of bothered me was that he did not use cover on the ladder and slightly scratched the surface of my siding when he positioned the ladder. Otherwise I was satisfied with the workmanship.

I like the fact that they send out the same handyman for all the work I have done so I get to know him and he gets to know my house; plus he remembers all the various things that he has done around here. I will use them again in the future and I recommend them to other Angie's List members.

Daniel did GREAT!!! He finished everything and cleaned up after every day! He showed up on time and worked hard all day! I can't say enough wonderful things about Daniel and Case Handyman and Remodeling. I know our project wasn't huge but it was treated with craftsmanship and respect; 100% satisfaction.

They were much cheaper than a painting company and I was very happy with the results. He actually did a few other random tasks for me as well.

Craig and Brad showed up on time to assess what we wanted done and to give an overview of their company. Craig used our magazine photo that showed what we wanted done with the shelving and we discussed other possible needs that could be handled. Craig called to confirm the color of the shelving and to confirm when the work would be done. On the scheduled day Daniel, the carpenter, called on time to say that he was purchasing the needed materials. He was efficient and very pleasant to work with even when he had to return to the store for a wider bottom shelf than we had originally planned to use. He always asked us to look at any work before doing something permanent and offered different alternatives. We are happy with everything done and thrilled with our new "computer room" arrangement which opens up the whole room. (Now we have room for a port-a-crib or even a big bed for visitors and a much more comfortable place to use the computer.) It was a good decision to use Case.

Worked on double front doors with modern style windows around it and back door. Had to do the doubles twice; forgot to use a level. I had mine though. Cut corners on the details like drywall and paint job. Fixed drywall. Repainted it myself. Tired of arguing. The sub who installed the stone patio outside the doors stole my shovel, used my wheelbarrow to mix his mortar and got mortar splashed up on the brick exterior, left big gaps between stone slabs. The carpenter told me how much of a favor he had done me for being honest and reinstalling the wrap siding correctly. Thanks! Insisted I make final payment without inspecting the work and getting an invoice when I was on the way to daycare. Threshhold level so water stays there. Doorbell wire now shorted out. Next time I will hire pros.

It went well. They kept to the schedule and did everything we ask.

Case went into a long explanation of how their process was better and they wouldn't go above estimate and we would get exactly what we wanted on time and on budget. No contractor should make those kind of promises, their inability to deliver at that level was disappointing. The initial estimate was revised to a much higher number (thankfully it did not go up again after that which was nice). It was difficult knowing who to call when there was a problem. I picked a flooring and emailed them and they asked me again about the flooring 2 weeks later. Then made me wait 2 weeks for the flooring to "come in" just to say it was on back order so we needed to pick another. Of course the project took longer because of all this. The workmanship was great, as was the person in my home. However, the chain of command, knowing who to talk to about problems and their responsiveness left a great deal to be desired. Oh, and they didn't actually do everything that the contract said.

Their prices were competitive and what I really liked about them is they quoted realistically instead of trying to low balling. If I end up having the work done, I would definitely use them.

Danny came in on time and worked for 4 hours as scheduled doing the above repairs. When we found one of the wall switches not to be working correctly, he returned without question and fixed it satisfactorily.

Case quoted and 1/2 day minimum for the job. When the handyman came out, he realized it was a two-step job -- remove microwave and cabinet -- then I would need to take the cabinet to be shortened, then Case would need to reinstall both the cabinet and microwave. The handyman broke the job down into two visits without charging me any more. Plus, he came back quickly after I had the cabinet fixed to reinstall.

Daniel arrived right on time, got right to work and did not waste one minute of time. Finished all work agreed upon quickly and efficiently. Work completed was done very well and all work areas cleaned. He gave me information on a couple items I need to buy before his next visit. Oh, yes. We are going to use him and Case again!! After using other "handyman services" this is the only one that fits that description perfectly.

Very poor job. All he did was clean the grout (not replace it). He left the tile and bathroom in a dirty condition. On top of it all, the repairman stunk of cigar smoke and as a result the towels and bedroom sheets had to be washed. I complained to the owner, who sent out one of their veteran employees to follow up on the results. The next day I received a call from the office manager who mentioned that I was getting a 100% refund for the work (which I confirmed they did).

We are very satisfied with all aspects of Case's performance. Except for the use of electrical and painting sub-contractors, the work was done by Case employees John and Bruce. The quality of work was excellent. Two minor items that did not initially meet our expectations were corrected quickly after we pointed them out. Their attitude was, "The job is not done until the customer is satisfied." The craftsmen were always on time and courteous. John, who did most of the work, is extremely talented. The electrical subcontractor did an outstanding job. The painting sub was less impressive, but totally acceptable. While the work exceeded expectations, the quotation process could be improved. Specifically, the remodeling consultant was not as knowledgeable of options as we would have liked. As a result, the contract (scope of work and price) had to be modified after the project manager did his pre-work walk through with John.

Kevin was a pleasure to work with and was very solution oriented. Our washer/dryer unit was too large for the laundry closet and we really did not want to buy mini-machines. We initially asked Kevin to recess our sockets. When that was not possible (because of electrical code issues), Kevin helped us arrive at a second solution - turning the units sideways and using the space originally intended to be a coat closet as an extension of the laundry room. This solution will definitely work for us and keep us from making more drastic changes. Kevin also hung a number of bathroom fixtures for us and I was quite pleased that he was so careful to hang things evenly. One thing that we did wrong was to not give specific enough instruction. It would have helped to have the walls marked exactly where I wanted things to be placed.

Am preparing home to place on market. Was very fortunate Case handed over my job to Ken Bodah, a true craftsman; also punctual, proficient, considerate, dedicated, and likable. Actually worked through lunch, gave suggestions on the best way for me to go about further repairs, was patient with snarly neighbor dogs who wandered over, and sent a handwritten thank-you note.

The project went as hoped and expected. Daniel completed the installation of the molding within the time allotted and then completed another small project immediately afterward. As others have said, this gentleman works quickly and well. He is a professional of the highest order and I highly recommend him and Case.

The company was selected after reviewing Angie's List of companies and the customer feedback on each. Case responded to the request for information quickly and professionally; and an appointment was set for the next available time. Daniel removed, replaced and re-painted the new siding pieces. He worked quickly, quietly, professionally and completed the project slightly sooner than expected. He offered, and I accepted his offer, to fill that small left-over amount of time with any other repair type projects. I was an excellent experience.

Case did an excellent job. I actually ran out of stuff for them to do. Very efficient and knocked out what would have taken me months to do on my own in one day. Highly recommended for that honey-do punch list.

Very positive experience, have used Case in the past and found them to be quite professional with regards to their employees and their work product is certainly superior. Marc Chavaree took charge of the project, writing the estimate and working with all of the subs. Marc is quite professional and true to his word, with respects to start/finish time of work being performed, and keeping the customer informed during the entire process. Workers arrived on time and were led by another very professional gentleman by the name of Bruce (I believe this was his name). Bruce took charge of his team and they all appeared to be very engaged in their duties, working hard the entire time they were here. Very good, overall experience.

It was excellent! David showed up early and got right down to business. We went through all 4 areas. In the bathroom he actually said he would show me how to do it, buy the caulk I needed and then walked me through how to do it. He was courteous and business-like. The repairs look great.
