My experience with Renu was great. All aspects of the company were top notch. I was referred by a friend and Jeremy did a great job explaining the products. It wasnâ t sales call at all. After that point the financial part was super easy and then the rest of the team started to chime in on all of the next steps. Holly, Calli, and Thomas were in contact constantly with updates with approvals of financing, HOA and inspections. Wes, the electrician, and Matt, install lead, were great. The whole team upon arrival, introduced themselves, wore masks and were very respectful to my visiting family. There were easy to talk with and answered all of the questions I had on the spot. They cleaned up the yard off all trash that was created. And then explained all of the next steps I should expect. Wes went through all of the electrical connections and what next steps I should expect from my Co-op. I would definitely recommend Renu Energy Solutions to any and everyone looking to updated their home.

I was very impressed!!!!!! Renu Energy is a company that I would recommend to anyone. I called Duke Energy and they referred me to two companies. My husband and I contacted both companies and Jeremy from Renu Energy was the first person that called us back. Jeremy was very accommodating, patient, and professional. He gave my husband and I a very detailed presentation. He took his time to explain how solar panels work as I did not understand the functionality of them, I just saw homes around us with them. After the presentation and answering our questions, he told us he can look at our energy bill to see if the panels would benefit us. I loved the fact that he was not just trying to sell us something to get a sale, but he wanted to make sure it would be beneficial. Jeremy was able to design the system that would save us money, receive money not only on our taxes but also through Duke Energy rebate. Whereas other companies would not submit paperwork for us to get the rebate from Duke Energy, Renu will do this on our behalf. He made the process easy and seamless and with no upfront out of pocket cost to do the install, it was a no brainer for us to proceed with the purchase. Renu employees are wonderful with great customer service skills. Callie and Hollie kept us abreast every step of the way on the installation process. Elijah the supervising installer, Dillon the electrician and several other awesome workers came and installed the panels and completed the electrical work in one day. They were very professional and neat with their work. They checked in with us when they completed their section. They made sure we knew how the equipment worked and to see if we had any additional questions. Everyone was and is SIMPLY AWESOME! My son and his wife heard a presentation from another company and after listening to the Renu’s presentation, they compared the two and undoubtable, Renu came on top. They are now in the process of getting their panels installed by Renu Energy. I

We had solar panels installed through Renu. The whole process was streamlined for us, the prices were some of the best we had found and the customer service was excellent. Even the install team of guys were wonderful knowledgeable personable people. During the process we met Lauren P. and the Sunteam, they are amazing. I never realized what a difference it makes to have a dedicated service team on hand for any needs that might arise or to assess any problems just for me practically. They treat each customer like a priority. I wish my cable services were as great. I can't recommend them enough.

Professional is the word I would use. Also, they had to deal with my roofer who take 3 months because of the pandemic to finish his job. During it all, they were helpful, courteous and kept me in the loop. Nice job.

To begin with, going solar is a big decision. Renu told me upfront that if it would not benefit me they would not try and sell me on it. With such a decision I had a lot of questions, and they were able to answer all of them with honest answers. They were straightforward with how the entire build and function process was going to go. At no time did I have any surprises throughout the entire process. My salesperson has assured me that he is a phone call or email away 365 days a year. So far I have seen great results. I would definitely recommend Renu to anyone thinking about going solar.

The gentleman we set everything up through has no idea what he is doing he did not know how to read a electric bill, and did not give us enough solar panels for future use like I told him many of times. But since I am not solar panel expert he said I needed to trust him. Obviously I should not have trusted him and listened to the numbers I had.

Clean work site. Own branded trucks and trailers. I was particular about the electrical conduit wiring runs and they did a great job accommodating my requests. The wiring is virtually invisible to the naked eye and the panels look fantastic on the roof! Highly recommend this professional outfit.

Short version: Great initial experience with great prices, but a general lack of proactive communication plagued the process. Renu seems to be a little short staffed. Some major problems (roof leak and Duke rebate problems) were able to be worked out satisfactorily. Early production results seem promising. Long version: Sales team was great, and willing to work with me on pricing. I had quotes from five companies, and I chose Renu for price, positive reviews, length of experience, panel quality, and production guarantee. Mark has been great about being involved throughout the process and clearly communicating. My biggest scare was the Duke rebate. At the time I was signing the contract, I was assured that there was virtually a 100% chance I would receive it, and that they would take care of submitting the necessary papers the day it opened in a timely manner. Due to technical issues (not Renuâ s fault), I almost missed the rebate, but due to Renuâ s diligence in bookkeeping, I was able to receive it. While I am happy with the end result, and Renu did do the proper things to ensure that we got the rebate, the process could have been less stressful had Renu been more proactive about communicating what was going on. I also want to note that Reun submitted my application at about 9:19 AM, with a cutoff for receiving the rebate (this year) ended up being at about 9:20 AM. Bottom line, I would be wary of counting on the rebate in making your purchasing decision. My second biggest problem that I had was a roof leak caused by solar panel installation. This is something that according to pretty much any source online should be very, very rare, as long as the installers are good and your roof is in good condition (ours is brand new and hadnâ t had any problems). Now, to give Renu credit, they sent someone out quickly to take a look, and didnâ t try to pretend that they didnâ t cause the problem, and got it fixed within the week. Getting it fixed in that time frame did require me to push back on their original plans, which were to fix it about a week later, after some major rain storms were set to pass through. We were lucky that the water dripped onto a place where it was visible to us, otherwise we could have had major water damage done before noticing that there was a problem. A recurring problem after signing until completion was communication. I was given only one day of notice before installation, and wasnâ t told that it would be an all day affair. A bigger deal was working with Evan to get the inspection done. Evan was a nice guy, and I suspect at least part of the problem might be that he is too busy, but he required constant prodding to let us know what was going on, and often did not show up when he told us he would. The first time the inspector came by, he was supposed to stop by a couple hours earlier to drop off needed paperwork, but he never showed up, which meant we failed the inspection. Furthermore, he never called to explain what happened, meaning that a few days later I had to call to find out what was going on. The cycle of needing me to call to find out needed information or needing him to push him to reschedule, etc., occured several times. Again, nice guy who is probably just too busy, but definitely not too reliable or good at letting you know what was going on. Since my panels have been on (only a couple of weeks), I have seen production numbers that are about what I expected, and should be higher than the guarantee by a comfortable margin. Right off the bat, one of my optimizers didnâ t work. Renu automatically generated a work ticket for it, which is nice. After a couple weeks of not hearing from Renu, I reached out to find out when they would be coming. Joel let me know that since one panel not working is a small problem, it might take a couple more weeks to even get a date scheduled for when they will come. Once again, Renu seems sh...

Just got the engineering design (very detailed) for my project. Renu helps every step of the way with dealing with the HOA, getting work permits/working with the utility. I expect installation to be complete within the month. Very excited. SUPER people who communicate well. Couldn't be happier with my choice of Renu so far!

Very competitive prices

At first I was skeptical about getting solar panels. I thought it would be too much trouble and not worth the time. I was wrong!! After talking with Nick Zink we had our panels installed and 6 months later we have seen amazing savings on our power bill. I also cannot say how amazing Nick has been. He walked us through and ensured every concern or worry was resolved before the install and personally walked through the process and checked to ensure everything was done on time. The installation went seamlessly and ahead of time, they cleaned thoroughly afterwards, and the respect they showed was incredible. If you get solar panels ask for Nick Zink. I trust no one else.

Competant, knowledgeable salesperson, excellent technical staff/installers. Durable top quality equipment was installed. All questions were promptly answered. Some miscommunication with office staff but they were quick to remedy. One material shortage produced a delay. Time to completion was quite a bit longer than we expected but we are happy with the final project. Should save us an expected 60% on our energy costs.

Renu was very helpful throughout the entire process of having a solar system designed, installed, and financed. They were by far the best quote that I received as well. Our goal was a "net zero" system and so far it looks like they nailed it.We had 38 panels installed on our house that went live in June and I have not had a power bill since. Duke Energy still charges ~$15 /mo for connection fees but actual power consumption has been zero and we are banking credits towards the leaner months when power generation may be less than consumption. We are very pleased and I would recommend Renu to anyone.

Renu Energy was so helpful and quick. Jeremy Pitts even went the extra mile to reassure me of the quote after hours when I emailed him. Fantastic and quick customer service responses to ALL of my emails.

Renu Energy Solutions provided the materials and installed an 8.4 kW array on my garage. Their installation crew did an excellent job, from ensuring the standoffs on the roof were properly secure and leak-proof, that rails and panels were correctly attached, and finally the system was attached to the inverter on the side of the building. Their crewâ s work could not have been better. But bureaucratic screwups in Renuâ s front office delayed power delivery to the grid by seven weeks.

Great service and great price!

Great people. Great customer service. Very quick. From first initial call to final install took about 3 weeks. Cutting through the Duke power ang government BS that RENU had no control over took about 6 more weeks. The only issue I had with RENU was that they did not plan for a large enough system to meet my energy needs.

Very professional, glad we chose Renu Energy.
