Queen City Plumbing

This is the third time I've used Queen City Plumbing. Each time they scheduled promptly. Jeff, who did the work, arrived at the promised time. He knew exactly what needed to be done and did the work thoroughly, including clean-up. On a previous job for me, he came on a Sunday to install a faucet, which I greatly appreciated. All of the work has been top quality at reasonable rates.

More and more it became a rebuild of the lines to the faucet for both cases. Servicemen had to leave and get parts and return to repair -- total time start to finish nearly four hours and $642 later. Too much surprise for a couple of drips.

Torre and Cory both were very helpful in our deciding we needed a new toilet. The factory sent a damaged one but they got a new one and installed it. Very professional on the part of both.

They did the job quickly and effectively. Had all the parts with them and decided on where to repair and where to replace appropriately.

I hired Queen City Plumbing to replace my A.O. Smith water heater with a Bradford White 50 gallon superheater. Ed showed up on time, was very professional, and completed the job in a timely manner. After the new heater was installed, Ed took the time to show me how the controls worked and how to adjust the mixing valve to adjust water temperature. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely call them again. I would also recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber.

Tori did a nice job. Don't know why I was charged a Credit Card Fee. Seems like Queen city Plumbing should absorb that cost.

Very professional and responsive. Corey was excellent, a hard worker who stayed to 8 PM to complete the job in the rain, and cleaned up after himself so that you never knew he was here. The only hitch was that he was unable to paint the new pipping due to the rain and were supposed to return the next sunny day which they failed to do. One simple phone call had them here the next day to do the painting. We were so happy with Corey, that we called them back to replace a toilet bowl which he also did an excellent job.

I called Queen City Plumbing based on the reviews here on Angie's. It wasn't an emergency, so they gave me an appointment for the next business day. Tore arrived, diagnosed the problem, noticed a few other issues, and wrote up a quote. I chose not to address the other issues, and he didn't try to up-sell me on anything. I appreciated that. He fixed the problem I called about quickly and professionally. It was a good experience.

Tore checked that everything inside the toilet was working properly, and then prepared to reset the toilet to verify that the wax seal was tight under the toilet as well. This particular toilet had been installed less than two years ago by another plumbing company, and we had been skeptical about the quality of their installation, especially since they had used several wedges under the edge of the toilet to try to make it level with the floor. When Tore lifted the toilet up to start the resetting process, he discovered that the wax seal from the 2016 installation had been poorly done, and that was the source of our sewer gas leak. Tore re-installed the toilet with a tighter seal, and only required one small wedge to level it with the floor. We were very impressed with Tore's professionalism and his honesty. He is knowledgeable and efficient. We would definitely contact Queen City Plumbing again, and specifically request to work with Tore.

I need more than just an A rating to convey how completely satisfied and impressed I was with every interaction I had with Queen City Plumbing. I wouldn't just recommend them to friends and family - I would DEMAND that they look nowhere else!! Their service is unparalleled and their prices were so good I honestly thought it was a scam at first (it's not a scam, just an honest and fair price for top notch service and warranty). Tore installed a brand new water heater for me and fixed a leak in the main water valve running into my home, but in truth he did so much more than that. He brought a level of competence and professionalism that's extremely rare in ANY industry/service, and he quite possibly saved my marriage. Tore immediately put my mind at ease, which I desperately needed after just having a new water heater installed the day prior by an un-licensed handyman whose work violated more codes than I can count! And I was just about to leave on vacation the evening when Tore showed up, so I can't begin to explain my joy at hearing him tell me that he could both fix my leak and replace my water heater (to code!) before my wife returned from work at 530! Boy did he deliver on that promise, and even finished 2 hours early DESPITE having to wait on another company to inspect potential water damage! The install cost was less than I paid the handyman, and the combined cost with fixing the leak was still cheaper (by $300) than the quote I got from one of the big named competitors!! Queen City's owner, Justin, even stopped by the day after I returned from vacation to inspect the work, which was characteristically perfect. Once you meet Justin, you immediately understand why the company is so great. Do yourself a favor and call them before wasting your time and money anywhere else!! I. Will. Never. Go. Anywhere. Else. For. My. Plumbing. Needs!!!

I had such a great experience with Tore'! He arrived exactly on time, took the time to listen to my problem with the plumbing, and then asked several follow-up questions. When he got to work, he was diligent and kept me updated on what was happening. Tore' got the repair done,made suggestions on how to prevent issues in the future and recommended a new garbage disposal to replace our rusty old one. Oh! And he also had a milkbone for my dog! Great experience with a fantastic service provider. I highly recommend Tore'!

Corey did an excellent job. Water heater was flushed, heating elements were checked, and fittings were checked for leaks.

Corey from Queen City Plumbing was very professional. He was on time and completed the job in a timely manner. In addition to the water heater maintenance he also checked my water pressure and performed a chlorine test of the water supply. Overall, it was a very good experience and I would recommend Queen City Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing work done.

I had old leaking water valves at my washing machine in my newly bought house. They were welded onto old copper piping and i couldn't remove them myself. Called QC Plumbing and they sent Tore out the next day. He reviewed what he needed to do and gave me a price up front. He then cut out a section of drywall and cut out the copper piping and valves. He replaced them, checked for leaks and hooked up my washing machine hoses too. Good work as far as I can tell... didn't have another cost estimate to compare to, but it ended up being about what I expected it would be.

Immediately talked about a water filtration system....said Charlotte water is terrible and I should install his system otherwise will have trouble again. I said I'd like to focus on the job at hand. I asked for a quote and when I said too high ($335.00) he asked me what I felt was reasonable for a PROFESSIONAL PLUMBER? I told him no more than $200 and he repeated "I said REASONBLE!!!" He said I'd NEVER get the job done for THAT. I said "I think we're done and said goodbye" and called my former plumber and got the job done for $175.00 I think his name was Tori.

Tore did a great job! He was very friendly and professional. He made sure to explain everything to me before doing any work.

Broke tank but replaced tank at no charge.

Tore' did a great job for me. The kitchen faucet is in a tight spot that over the years two previous plumbers could not tighten completely. He was able to tighten in a matter of minutes. I also had a clogged bathroom sink that my small hand snake would not clear. He had a power snake that was able to clear it. Tore' was courteous, professional, explained all thoroughly beforehand, and completed everything timely. I will use them again in the future when needed.

Corey performed excellentwork; exhibiting attention to detail and respect for our home. Work was performed quickly and as anticipated....with no surprises.

Service person accidentally over tightened the valve and cracked the tank. He immediately informed me and went and got a new toilet and installed same.

The gentleman did a fantastic job installing a new hot water heater and kitchen sink faucet. They even fixed a leak that I have had under the sink for a couple years. Would definitely use these guys again for any plumbing issues. Priced well and very professional

Corey was great. He came in, we explained what we thought was wrong and what we needed. Corey then explained everything to us as to what he would do and started the work. He was knowledgeable and professional! We are newer to LKN and did not have a plumber and I would recommend Corey and Queen City to others.
