Great, he was punctual and professional.

The plumber replaced the valves under the kitchen sink with better metal valves, and that solved the problem! The water pressure is now great and fixed the water temperature problem. I'm completely happy with that repair. While deciding what to do about the kitchen sink valves, he offered me a package deal to replace the valves under all the sinks in my house. That sounded like a good idea, since the builder had used the same cheapo valves for all the sinks; so I authorized the replacement of all the sink valves in the house. All went well, except for one of the sinks in the master bathroom. That one worked great before the change, but wouldn't work after the valve replacement. The plumber decided it was the cartridge in the faucet, and even ordered a new one free of charge (under warranty) from the manufacturer. When the new cartridge arrived, I installed it in the faucet, but nothing changed...the water still would not flow. The plumber came back and was able to get the flow going again, after clearing whatever was stuck in the pipe. The sink works again; but I had to pay $125 for him to come back out to fix something that was fine until he installed the new valves. Lesson learned: only fix what's broken! I also asked during the first trip if he could re-caulk the master bathroom shower. This would include removing the old caulk, cleaning out the mold and mildew under the shower door frame, and then re-caulking. He said he could, and I thought the price was fair. Unfortunately the cleaning under the shower door frame was not done well, and dark spots started to appear through the new caulking within a week or two. I ended up removing all the caulking again, thoroughly cleaning, and re-applying new caulking again myself. Of course I was dissatisfied with this part of the job. When I called to ask for my money back, they promptly agreed to refund my money for the caulking work; so I give them credit for that.

My husband was impressed with the professionalism and knowledge. Since I thought the cost was a little pricey, I called to see if Angie's discount was applied but the call was not returned.

Queen City Plumbing called to give me notice they were coming and could come a little early if it was convenient and it was. It was quickly and professionally done. The appointment was easy to schedule and I will definitely use their services again.

He was very nice and professional but when he came down he hit us with saying that the entire water heater HAD to be replaced. He said there was no other way to fix it and get hot water again. He then gave us a quote that was about 1600 bucks. I was shocked and told him I needed to think about this. I felt as though he wanted me to agree to it right then as he then told us about how busy they were and if I didn't book then it would possibly be a while before they could get back out. I'm so glad I delayed. I ended up calling the gas company and they simply needed to turn the gas back on. They had turned ours off instead of our neighbors by accident. He wanted me to pay 1600 dollars for something that would not even have fixed the problem! I would think he should have seen that there was no gas going to the heater and at least recommended that before trying to pressure us to buy a unit we didn't beed. Everything works fine now. No thanks to them.

Went well, tech had some good hints for the future.

They did a great job and checked to make sure there were no leaks on the inside or the outside and the faucet works as it should now, would definitely recommend.

It went very well. This was one of the Angie's Deals. We provided the faucet. They promptly contacted me to set up an appointment. The plumber came within the allocated time. The faucet installation went well and it is working.

It was OK.? It it was probably $50 worth.? I give quality a lower rating.? Very responsive.? Normally when you do a hot water heater flush and this is the first one I've had done, you normally do a drain, which they did.? You normally check the temperature and pressure value, which they did not.? It's a gas hot water heater.? I don't know if a normal service checks any of the gas.? He did check the burner, the pilot, the flame and all of that; so that was good.? Basically, when I asked about the temperature and pressure gauge, he says, "well, they don't normally go bad, and if I test it and it starts to leak, I have to charge you for it."? And I'm thinking, "really..OK".? So he never did test that.? So as soon as he left, I tested it and it worked fine.? So there was a little issue there.? I do understand if the thing blows out of the water heater or something ridiculous like that that it wouldn't be covered under a normal service call.? But they're there and the way he stated it, it was almost a threat dare me to get that tested.? So I said screw that, I know how to do it.? So, that was the end of that.? ?You know overall, I guess I would give them a B because so many things were good.? I was a little put off by what I consider to be a sales tactic or maybe he just didn't want to deal with it.? I don't know.? I don't know.? All I know is it didn't get tested. It was part of the service.? I tested it.? It was working fine.? I was a happy camper.

They did a really good job. They were here the next day and they were on time.
