+ -1 moreFurniture pick up was timely and professional. There was some damage to a few of the pieces and, even though it was uncertain which mover caused the damage, Principle took responsibility for the damage. However, Principle's back office could be more responsive -- not all messages were responded to.
Description of Work: Picked up furniture at 2 locations in Charlotte, placed in their warehouse, and contracted with another mover (Dumbo) to move the pieces to 2 locations in New York.

+ -1 moreWhile price competitive, the result is not worth it. We had a furniture piece damaged, and filled all the necessary paperwork to file a claim. The company at first ignored and evaded emails and phone calls. When we filed a complaint to the BBB, they finally responded, only to deny any responsibility. Their own documentation caught them in their lie, but the BBB couldn't help because the damages were under $600. Small claims court is our next step.
Description of Work: We hired principle to move a 2500 sf house from Fort Mill to Ballantyne. One of our furniture pieces was damaged in the process. principle would not reimburse us for the damage.

+ -1 moreUpdate: 1/3/2012 I was sued by this company today for $400. At max I only owed them extra $130. Nevertheless, the judge assigned to this case didn't accept the $400 Principle Movers wanted, but now I have pay $130 for the company plus court fees. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.. . They only been in business 2 years and have no care for customer service.
Description of Work: DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS !!!!!!!!! On the move date they were supposed to be at my house between 3-5 pm, they showed up at 7pm. They quoted me 2 men for 3 hours, and 1hr move time, with 26' truck for $260, which sounded like a great deal. By the way this was only a 2 bedroom apt move across town (approx: 15 min down the road). Well the 3 hours turned in 7 hours. They didn't get done until 1:30 AM. The owner Kent I think that’s what his name was, said that I owned him for 4 extra hours. I told him that is not what I was quoted for and his movers were inexperienced and slow ( they didn’t even get all my stuff because they only stocked the truck 5 feet up, a whole bunch of wasted space. I had to move the rest of stuff myself the next day) He told me if I refuse to pay he will take me to court nice costumer service right?
