+ 0 moreHighly recommended! I'm very pleased with the repair work that Pavel completed for me, including the resizing of an engagement ring that's a family heirloom, and fixing an antique necklace. The owner, Dima, is attuned to perfection and high quality work. Very professional and fast, as well. I'm going to bring more repairs to them after seeing their work and very happy that I found this place.

+ -1 moreBetter than all that was the staff at Pavel's. They were very patient as I described what I wanted and the history of the necklace,etc. I didn't remember the store closed at 6 and showed up at 7:30 to collect my necklace. One of the owner's was still there working on a project. She kindly opened the shop to allow me to get my piece. That was beyond lovely. Thank you! Check out their store...they have beautiful rings, pendants,etc. And they can make what ever you like. Fun to visit.
Description of Work: Added new sterling silver clasp to a sterling silver necklace that was my mom's which she received in the 40's. They cleaned and polished necklace to bring back it's brilliance.

+ -1 moreHe also cleaned and inspected my rings (for a small fee) and pointed out areas of stress that I should monitor so that I wouldn't lose any stones.
Description of Work: I have an expensive silver cuff watch that I had dropped on cobblestones. The coating was scratched and the face broken. I took it to a jewelery store that sent it off to be repaired (not Pavel's). I was very disappointed when the watch came back -- the scratches were still there and the replacement face was much thicker than the original. When I took some other watches in to Pavel's to get replacement batteries, I showed him the silver cuff watch. He said that he thought he could buff the scratches out, so I left the watch with him. When I picked the watch up a week or so later (I had been out of town), I was amazed. Not only were all the scratches removed, the glass face had been adjusted. When you see my watch now, you can't tell that it had been damaged!
