Update: My fence has now been fixed and looks as it should have in the beginning. Paul came to the site with his crew and stayed the entire time they rebuilt the sections that had problems. I very much appreciated that he did that. While I am disappointed the fence wasn't done to their "A" game to begin with I do feel that is what I have now. Every company or team member can make a mistake, it is how that mistake is handled that matters. I told Paul that I would use them or recommend them in the future and I meant that. I respect that they stood by their work. I'm sure all can understand we were a bit panicked when we saw the problems and the seriousness of them that we would have difficulty getting our fence up to a quality standard we felt we deserved. We are very happy with the final result. Thank you Paul for correcting the problems. The fence is beautiful. My fence was installed in the time frame that was given, and in what seemed to be a professional manner. I was quite shocked when the installers were using a chain saw to cut all the boards. After they left I found many large splinters on the boards, which is a concern with a small grandchild in the yard. I chose to let that go, perhaps that was wrong of me. After a few weeks we found that the gate would no longer close and open from settling. I called and that was fixed promptly. The guys that fixed the problem took off the latch, drilled new holes and put it back on left open holes from where the latch was previously installed. They didn't tell me they were here to make the repair until after they were done and were leaving. At the time of installation they raked the extra dirt from the holes around the fence and the post neatly, after rain and wind I found that that dirt was actually covering concrete that was well above grade level making it so that no grass or planting can be placed there. It looks awful. I have also discovered that several sections are pulling away from the post, after only a few months, probably because they cut the horizontal boards too short and used pieces less that two inches long to patch in behind the posts. These patched in sections are also where the hinges to the gate are, causing one to split completely in two. I can now see the sided of the screw that are supposed to hold the hinge. Overall I am extremely unhappy with this fence, not worth the $1200.00 I paid. I have called P Saylor and spoke with Paul around the 27th of October. I told him that I would be happy to send pictures of the problems, which I did. In return I received an email from Risa Saylor stating she thanked me for the pictures and email and typically they will take care of warranty work in the next few weeks. I feel that these are serious failings and more than mere warranty work. I feel I deserve more communication from the company. I am very worried that this will not be corrected in the manner it should be, which should be reconstructing the sections with problems. I now have a lock on my gate to prevent any work being done without my being here or knowledge, as was done previously. No one ever came to check the work done by the crew, I feel if you put your name on a company you should check the workmanship of all crews. It is my sincere hope that these problems will be corrected and I can amend this review to a satisfactory standing, sadly, right now my experience has not been a good one.

Paul Saylor came and bid on project the day after I called him. Emailed detailed drawing and cost options within one day. Two week lead time because of our material choice, there was miscommunication with the manufacturer of the fencing material so project was done the next day. Jorge was the on site supervisor, he communicated with me about where we wanted the fence and gates. These guys really did a great job! The fence looks fantastic!!

Paul was very helpful and knowledgeable and really made me feel at ease. He made suggestions that I would never had thought of and which really made sense once talking them out. It was nice that he took the time to actually explain everything in a way I could understand. I truly appreciated it. The fence was completed on the 20th of December. They were able to handle last minute changes as our closing date was moved back a day and they still met my time frame. Everyone with the organization was extremely professional and the customer service was top notch.

Perfectly. Was on time to provide an estimate, was both personable and professional. Even made a couple of recommendations. I had a ton of questions for Risa, and she was patient and responsive. Fence was installed in a day, and I received 2 follow up calls from Paul to make sure I was satisfied, which I was. These people have it figured out, and I would easily recommend them, or use them again,

Both were impossible jobs, which required cutting out a mountain of dense overgrowth, saplings, and other obstacles over an old rotted & rusted wire fence attached to an old split rail fence in order to clear a workable "fenceway"before installing the new 6' x 350' chain link fence(s) with posts cemented 2' deep. Six or seven other contractors took measurements, but we never heard from them again. Paul promptly returned a price quote, which was very competitive for a "normal" installation, for the job without playing up any of the great degrees of difficulties (chain sawing, hacking, digging, hauling away, etc., not to mention simple dangers!) that we both knew the job would entail. I had figured it would take a large crew at least a week to do the job, and was astonished when Paul said it could be done in a day. His no nonsense but good humored crew of 3 (!) arrived on time on the day promised, and the job was finished that afternoon, minus some small details, which his foreman Jorge and one other worker promptly finished in an hour or so the next morning! What I received from Paul and his crew, especially Jorge, was not just a simple fence job done well under impossible circumstances in an unbelievable time frame, but nothing less than a stand alone flawless work of art, all properly level, plumb, and evenly well tensioned from top to bottom. Our neighbors are equally astonished with the installation, and one has subsequently hired Paul and his crew for her property (she is equally pleased with her installation!), and at least 2 and maybe 4 more neighbors will be contracting with Paul & Risa and their crews by spring. In short, Paul & His Beloved Risa and his foreman Jorge leave nothing to chance, nor any room for improvement, and their pricing is more than competitive. Your search for the best in fencing is over!

The team just finished the project today and I could not be more pleased! From the first meeting to the final install, Paul, Risa, and the team have been so easy to work with. It was as if they were more concerned about the final results than I was. Extremely professional, friendly, and excellent communication on what to expect. The absolute best experience I have had with a contractor - ever!

We highly recommend P Saylor Fence Company. They walked us around the property and showed us the way the fence would be laid out. Very personal service with good explanations of what to expect. The installation was professionally completed on time. It looks beautiful, is perfectly straight and the gates open smoothly and close gently on their own. We could not be more pleased.

All went well. The appointments were kept promptly as well as the installation in spite of very wet weather. After completion both husband and wife came out to check out the job and our satisfaction. I am well pleased.

Everything was completed as promised from estimate to completion. I'm very happy with my new fence. I would use Saylor Fence again and recommend them to others.

It took forever to get the quote and I had to follow up and follow up. Then there was no follow up from them once we got it. We decided not to do the work at all.

We transferred to the Cornelius area for work. We have a dog, so it was important that we had a fence installed around our new house. I wanted to have the fence installed as quickly after move-in as possible. I worked with Risa to get a fence quote while we were still in Wisconsin. She was very helpful and professional. We had a quote within a few days. In additional to the quote, Paul educated us about the fence, explained how it would look on a sloped lot and worked with me on the size of the gate. I had not yet seen the property, so he sent me pictures of the back yard! The quote was submitted with a drawing of the fence for us to submit to the HOA. The HOA needed additional information, which Paul and Risa promptly submitted. We moved into our house on the 13th and the fence was installed on the 15th. The materials and workers arrived exactly when we were told they would arrive. The workers were very helpful, professional and courteous, especially with regard to ideas on where to put the extra dirt. They cleaned up after themselves. We are extremely happy with our fence. It looks awesome!!!

It went perfectly. The crew was professional, polite and very skilled. The materials (split rail) were grade A. The job was performed to perfection including the cleanup. I doubt there is a better fence company in North Carolina. and the price was very reasonable.

Office calls handled by Risa are very professional and informational. Paul came out, despite the drizzly rain, at a very convenient time to review the project and provide an estimate. They scheduled the utility companies to mark the necessary lines on our behalf. As soon as the supplies were delivered, the crew arrived and ensured we were on the same page with work to be performed. I was a bit concerned since Paul was not there, but after contacting the office, Risa assured me he would be by to supervise later in the morning (and he was). After completion, I had a few minor concerns but Paul came out right away and addressed them (in the end, they just required discussion). I received estimates from 2 other fence companies and P Saylor's was right in line with the others. I chose P Saylor because of the responsiveness of Risa and Paul, how observant and professional Paul was on our initial conversation, and their detailed estimate. I am so pleased and have received compliments from neighbors on the new section of fence. Have recommended to friends and family.

Absolute professional. Jobs were completed on time and in accordance with his estimate. I am a perfectionist and literally could not find even one thing wrong with either of his installations. We were so satisfied with his job that we used his uncle for fencing at our business in Delray Beach, FL. I only wish all contractors had the work ethic of Paul Saylor.

Paul responded quickly to my request for an estimate and gave a thorough run-through. The estimate arrived via email in 48 hours and Risa communicated well through the entire process including a follow-up call after installation. The price was fair and actually the lowest of 4 providers contacted. My original install date was scheduled for 2 weeks later than my actual date and Risa informed us that it might be moved up with a cancellation occurred. When one did, she contacted us immediately and within days the crew arrived for installation. No issues at all with an efficient install. The materials arrived around 10am as promised, the crew arrived around 11am and the fence was completely installed by 5pm. The job foreman, Jorge, was very attentive and walked through every step of the process with one final modification at my request on the fly. Great job. Thanks.

Paul and Risa Saylor were terrific to work with! They were extremely responsive when we contacted them about the job. Paul came over to provide an estimate within 2 days of our initial request. Risa followed up with us several times prior to the installation to insure that our questions were answered and to verify that the installation worked with our schedule. The installation team came out today and completed the job just as discussed. The installers were courteous and knowledgable. They wrapped up the installation in one day and left very little mess. The fence looks terrific! These guys were a pleasure to work with.

Everything went smoothly from getting the estimate to getting the fence installed. They were similar in price and Angie's List rating to another company, and we chose them because they could get to us a little sooner. Everybody was nice and easy to deal with. They even had to work around an invisible fence system which they did without harming it. They did a good job and got it done in one day.

Bid was made promptly. In spite of our delay while we decided what kind of fence we wanted, they responded quickly to set a date when we were ready ti install. They were sensitive to our need to contain a small dog, arrived as scheduled, and completed the installation efficiently. We were pleased with the process and the final result.
