Wonderful experience - communication with Risa was prompt and easy, and when an earlier opening arose we were immediately notified and a crew was out the next morning. We have a large backyard and the entire job was completed in one day. Jorge and the worker helping him were extremely courteous and professional. I was worried about some small trees, limbs, branches, and thick ivy hindering the construction, but I was told not to worry, they could take care of it all. And they certainly delivered. The fence looks even more amazing than I expected, and I am already enjoying the peace of mind that comes from knowing our young daughter and our dogs are safely "contained" while they play in the back yard.

Other companies wouldn't even come out to give an estimate because the job was too small and the one other estimate we got said our entire fence would need to be replaced. P. Saylor came out and fixed the fence beautifully and at a fair price.

Doing business with P Saylor Fencing was a great experience. His foreman, Romilio was outstanding in his quality of work & professionalism. The project of putting a fence through woods was done quickly & the fenceline was perfectly straight. We had mismarked our property line which Romilio pointed out & corrected for us. We decided to powerwash/paint the existing portion of wood fence which P Saylor arranged & David did a super job on it. Several neighbors have admired the quality of our fence. I would not hesitate to re-hire this P Saylor crew for my next fencing or painting project!!

YES! Paul Saylor is the man to hire for fence work! Paul and his wife Risa own/operate P. Saylor Fence Co. and they are fantastic! The company is based in Mooresville, but he works in the Winston Salem area as well, which is where this fence was installed at my parents house. I called and scheduled an initial appointment for Paul to come to the house & measure. He was there right on time - from Mooresville! After he & I walked the yard and obtained the measurements, he came inside and thoughtfully and carefully discussed the project with my mom & dad (both mom & dad are hard of hearing). He made sure to talk loud enough for them to understand, and patiently answered all of dad's technical questions about the installation. He explained why they use the type of wood they do, how deep they dig the post holes, how they put the pickets on a certain way to alleviate warping, etc. Paul was the first of 3 estimates we had done, for the exact same type of fencing. Not only was his bid the best, but his customer service was above and beyond the other two! Even if he wasn't the lowest bid, he would have gotten the job because he was so good talking with my parents about the job. We scheduled the fence to be installed, but had to postpone a week due to wet weather. When they were able to begin installation, Paul was there to make sure everything started correctly & his crew knew exactly what was needed. Jorge and his helper are fantastic! Jorge speaks fluent English & Spanish and there were no communication issues. They were professional, courteous, and worked non-stop. No loafing, no smoking, just hard work. The fence is gorgeous and we're so happy with it!

I had a fence built to hid my 3 trash cans on the side of my home. It is a white PVC fence and it looks terrific.

This was a difficult review for me. For all aspects of the project except one, Paul and team did a great job. They were easy to talk to, gave a solid, winning bid and installed a quality fence. The one MAJOR issue ties to the fact that a pool pipe was hit during installation due to the fact that the crew used a 2-person power auger instead of hand digging around the pool. I will say that after some initial debate, the company did the right thing and covered the costs. Another small nit was that they put an advertising plaque on the fence without asking me. That was a bit annoying. To be fair, it is a great fence. If not for the pipe debacle, this would have been a VERY solid A

The service was excellent. He was prompt, professional, courteous, and he did a great job. I would recommend him.

I contacted a couple of fencing companies on the same day (12/11/12 I think) for quotes for both a 4' chainlink and for a split rail with wire for my backyard. P.Saylor quickly came to the property and emailed me a diagram by 12/13 with reasonable price quotes for each type of fence. (I had not heard back from the other company.) I then contacted P.Saylor and chose the chainlink option on 12/17. They contacted the utilities to have public underground lines marked. My fence was completed 12/20 before I returned home from work!! I could not be more pleased and would highly recommend their services to anyone!! They could have not made the process any easier. Certainly an A! (Oh yes, I received the quote from the other company on 12/21 and it was $200 higher,...) My fencing was roughly 16' x 80' x 16' with one gate on level property.

They did an excellent job. I was very pleased with them. I have not had a bit of trouble with my fence; it up straight and level. I couldn’t ask for anything better. They left the property almost as clean as it was before they did the work. When they were here they worked straight through. They were very polite and very professional. The pricing was excellent and very competitive.

i had contacted several companies to bid on fencing in my backyard. this company is the only one who supplied a folder with additional information and a checklist to guide the customer through the process, making it easier and to me, appearing very professional. They showed up on time for the bid, their price was competitive, and they were friendly and were able to schedule the job within a week. There was a minor delay of a day or two due to materials and a truck breaking down, but again, was only a day or so, and paul made sure to contact me to let me know what was going on so I wasn't worried. The finished product looks great. The yard was very challenging with up and down landscaping, trees in the fence line, concrete areas around the driveway to deal with, and I am happy with the end result. i read other people's reviews and felt confident in choosing this company and was not disappointed

P Saylor Fence broke down the quote so we knew exactly what we were paying for. They were friendly, on time, they made like little mess at all, cleaned up after themselves, showed up when they were supposed to, and got the job done. It looks great. We are going to use them in the future. We have another fencing project we want to do.

We first called for an estimate and spoke with Risa. She was super professional and answered many questions regarding the different fences. She got us set up with Paul to have an estimate. Paul came out and gave us an estimate and was very nice and very informative. After we had our survey he came back out to check stakes and to mark where we wanted fence. He said it may take up to two weeks to get material. Material was in within ten days and they started as soon as all materials were delivered. Paul and Risa's crew worked very hard and were very nice, they took time to answer our questions. The fence is amazing and we are so happy to have met Paul. They will get our referral 100%. Could not say one negative thing. Very happy we choose them as we had several estimates with other companies. Thanks Paul and Risa!!!!!!!!!!

We highly recommend. P Saylor fence company to anyone needing a fence. We got quotes from six other company. P Saylor was the less priced out of all. We had a short time frame,to get the fence up they, also met that need. They were the only one who said they could meet that need. Their work looks great, the workers were very nice lift our place clean and looking better than before. Now we have a five foot fence. The dogs love it. We are very happy with this company and would recommend them to any one THANKS L.SMITH

The owner and crew showed up the first day on time ,and the owner gave the crew of three men the plans that we had agreed to. It took them three days to complete the job and we were very pleased.We would recommend them to anyone who needs a fence installed.

Excellent job. We got several other quotes before deciding to go with P Saylor Fence. We chose P Saylor because the price was fair and because of the personal service of Paul and Risa. The crew arrived on time and did the job in 2 days as they said they would. The new fence looks great and keeps our digging dogs in the yard, as we wanted. We had a small problem with the locks not being properly adjusted, but Paul came back out on his own time and took care of it himself. I think that shows their dedication to customer satisfaction. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fence. they installed a 3 rail split rail with wire fence in my backyard of over 250ft. with a 4ft gate and a 10ft gate. they did a fantastic job and the fence looks great!

They did good work. I had the estimate done, but it was a little bit of a wait for them to be able to come out and do the work. They were very pleasant to work with.

The fence Paul had put down in our backyard is great. My dog loves the fence. We are very happy with fence and will recommend Paul to anyone who needs a fence.

Outstanding experience. I had a quote from a Service Magic Vendor for $7,500 and my fence gate would have been chain-link is not allowed by my HOA. Paul (Owner) did my install and even sold my neighbor a replacement rail for his fence. Fence is holding strong even with (2) kids doing the regular in and out. If you can look past Pauls Choice in sporting teams you wont be disappointed. :)

The results, I have nothing bad to say about this vendor. They met me on time every time (from proposal, to the final job)...did what they said they would do on the days they said they would do it. What really works with this company is the man/wife team. Paul does most of the field work, and Risa handles phone and email communication (excellently and very responsive). We had minor schedule conflicts with the sub-contracted mason and me/my family going on vacation, etc....but Risa maneuvered and handled it all extremely well and was very very responsive to let me know what was happening and when it was going to happen. She sent me everything in writing (proposals, contracts signed, receipts, all in scanned emails). She even sent me pictures of the job completed when I was in the Bahamas. One even has a nice picture of my dog Mary enjoying the fence! The pros: Very timely, they do what they say, great communications skills, high quality workmanship and great end product, estimate very much in line with their competitors (my job is high due to stone column construction). It seems to be normal in this industry....P. Saylor required 50 percent in advance to do the work and the remaining 50 percent at the time of job completion. They didn't charge my card for the first deposit as early as they could have done so (when I signed a contract)...they waited up until the job date to charge me which I thought was very curtious of P. Saylor and very responsible. Before the job was completed, they earned my complete trust simply because they were just so responsive, professional, and they were doing great work in my yard. The cons: None. Conclusion: if you need a high quality fence with no BS...go with this firm without hesitation. They were absolutely awesome. Other contractors...take note of P. Saylor (especially their emphasis on good communication) and how they do their business. They set an example in their industry. When someone gives you a lot of their hard earned money in advance to do a job...they want their contractor to answer the phone or respond to an email to let them know what is happening to reassure themselves they made a wise decision.......P. Saylor exceeded in this facet extraordinarily. Also, I would note this was a relatively high end fencing job on a middleclass home (relative to my neighbors fencing)...P. Saylor took the job serious from day one. I've had contractors come out and snuff me in past when they learn my house doesn't sit on Lake Norman shoreline...P. We had a very good experience. When Paul came out to give us our initial quote, we were very impressed with his knowledge, and his willingness to answer our questions (we were concerned about our yard being uneven, and how that would affect the fence). We got 2 other quotes, and not only was P.Saylor the least expensive, but we were most comfortable with what information we had received. They are busy, so we did have a wait between the time we chose them and put in our deposit (the last week in April) to our installation (the last week of June), but we decided it was worth the wait, and it was. We did even end up getting moved up a week from our original targeted date (even with weather delays). The installers were very friendly, and worked straight through all day for 2 days to completion. I don't think we'll have any more fencing needs, but if we did, we would call P.Saylor!

Guys did a great job installing my pool fencing, professional and showed up on time. Great experience!
